Stopping for only a short moment as he contemplated his options of staying to fight an almost certain losing battle or get a chance to leave without entering a life and death battle with a group of unknown Soul Ascension Realm Experts, Xuan Hao did not hesitate to enter the disc shaped portal made up of light-

However, just as he was about to step through the portal, a spear of dark blue light more than a hundred meters in length exploded forth with all its might only a short distance away from him.

Seeing the massive dark blue spear erupt with a power that had already surpassed the normal level of a Soul Ascension Realm Expert, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a shiver run down his spine as the dark spear easily managed to pierce through the outer layer of his domain before heading towards him at a speed far surpassing that of the earlier attack.

Because of this, just before he was teleported away, a loud roar filled with killing intent echoed out in his ears followed by the massive spear made up of dark blue light still a short distance away from him suddenly condensing into a small ball of extremely concentrated energy.
