Chapter 514: Ancient Teleportation Formation!

Entering the cave with the ancient teleportation formation, Xuan Hao was relieved upon realizing that nothing had changed during the time he had left. No primeval fire ant nest had appeared covering the entire cave and no dormant creature above the Domain Lord Realm had suddenly shown up below the surface!

Xuan Hao even made sure to check for the last one the moment he entered the cave just in case he really was unlucky enough to encounter such a situation again.

"Finally…"

Seeing the ancient teleportation formation appear in front of him without any signs of damage after travelling for only a few short seconds, Xuan Hao felt extremely relieved knowing that nothing had happened to the ancient teleportation formation during the short period of time he had left.

To be honest, given what he had encountered on his way back through the now active underground cave network, Xuan Hao had expected to also encounter something in the cave of the ancient teleportation formation.

However, he was not at all disappointed after realizing that nothing had changed and was overall just happy about the fact that he would be able to leave the cave without having to risk his life...

The things he had seen in what had essentially only been a little over an hour, was more than enough to make him want to go back to the Shattered Star Peak and destroy the ancient teleportation formation on that side. Making sure that none of the things from the primeval jungles side could make it through to the other side.

After all, be it primeval fire ants, emerald demon spiders or the dormant creature above the Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao did not want any of them to pass through the ancient teleportation formation and appear on the Shattered Star Peak.

Having any of those three appear inside the territory of the Flying Sword Sect, was nothing short of a sect destroying disaster to the current Flying Sword Sect! Even Xuan Hao had no confidence in dealing with any of them at his current realm…

Thump~

Arriving in front of the ancient teleportation formation almost perfectly blending in with its surroundings, Xuan Hao looked around himself for a short moment before stepping onto the ancient teleportation formation.

A split second after stepping onto the ancient teleportation formation, Xuan Hao found himself back in the valley of the Half Spirit Race. No issues had taken place during the process and from looking around at the valley, it looked like nothing had gotten through the ancient teleportation formation and entered the Half Spirit Race's valley.

"Now-"

Boom!

"Hm?"

Trying to destroy the ancient teleportation formation, Xuan Hao could not help frowning as he felt like a normal mortal trying to destroy a mountain with his fists.

The ancient teleportation formation was simply way too strong! Even if he had not put too much strength into his attack, it was still more than enough for him to understand that he wouldn't be able to destroy the ancient teleportation formation with his current strength.

Thinking about it, this also made sense. After all, the other part of the teleportation formation was located inside the primeval jungle where demon beast above the Domain Lord Realm were present. Without being strong enough, there was no way it would have been able to survive for so long!

However, this was not something Xuan Hao was the slightest bit happy about. After all, how would he possibly feel safe knowing what was on the other side of the ancient teleportation formation?

Now, he couldn't even destroy the formation and prevent anything from crossing over from the other side. All he could do was hope that the ancient teleportation was not discovered. Something he doubted would not happen… After all, the emerald demon spiders or primeval fire ants would likely step into it as long as they swarmed the cave that the ancient teleportation formation was inside of!

No matter what, he had to prevent this from happening!

Stepping through the ancient teleportation formation once again, Xuan Hao wanted to try and hide the ancient teleportation formation with some of the rocks from the cave. At least that way, the ancient teleportation formation would not be discovered as easily. Especially given the fact that the ancient teleportation formation was invisible to divine sense and could only be discovered by seeing it with one's own eyes.

However, things did not go as planned, as Xuan Hao suddenly found himself staring directly into a pair of bright green eyes the moment, he arrived on the other side of the ancient teleportation formation.

Whoosh~

Before he even had any time to inspect the other party, the owner of the pair of bright green eyes jumped past him and entered the ancient teleportation formation.

All he manged to see was what looked like a few different vines and other sorts of plants attached to the owner of the bright green pair of eyes before the other party disappeared through the ancient teleportation formation.

Not intending to let anything from the primeval jungle run free inside what was essentially his sect's territory, Xuan hao rushed back through the ancient teleportation formation. Intending to follow the creature that had just passed through it.

Not seeing anyone after returning to the valley of the Half Spirit Race, Xuan Hao narrowed his eyes before spreading his divine sense out in all directions around him. Instantly covering the mountain that the valley of the Half Spirit Race was inside of before covering all of the Shattered Star Peaks and the growing town at the base of the Shattered Star peaks, until finally spreading out several kilometers in all directions around the Shattered Star Peak.

Outside of the top of the Second and Main Star Peak. Everything within a 10-kilometre radius of the Shattered Star Peaks became visible to him!

"Hm?"

Not seeing the owner of the pair of bright green eyes even after this, Xuan Hao could not help frowning as he narrowed his eyes and began a more thorough inspection of his surroundings.

The time frame between him and the owner of the pair of bright green eyes entering the ancient teleportation formation was less than a second. There was no way for the other party to escape the range of his divine sense in this short amount of time!

Meaning… The other party was likely hiding somewhere nearby and had somehow been able to hide from his divine sense!

Whoosh~

As this thought passed through his mind, Xuan Hao began using his domain to investigate his surroundings.

Compared to his divine sense, it was way harder to hide from his domain. After all, his domain would encompass everything inside of it. Even the slightest abnormality would be discovered in an instant!

The only problem with his domain compared to his divine sense, was the fact that his domain would only be able to cover a fraction of the area covered by his divine sense.

To search the entire Shattered Star Peaks with his domain would at least take a few hours with the current size of his domain. Especially so given that he would have to search the area thoroughly. After all, given the other parties hiding abilities, he might miss the creature in question if he didn't…

To be honest, he had not expected that someone would show up during the short few seconds it had taken for him to go back.

Thinking along this line, Xuan Hao realized that the other party might have been following him for some time…

"Hah…"

Letting out a sigh upon realizing this, Xuan Hao could only lament over the fact that he had been too slow to react back when he had returned through the ancient teleportation formation to hide it. Now, all he could do was search for the other party and hope he would be able to find the owner of the pair of bright green eyes.

"Nothing…"

Shaking his head with a disappointed expression on his face, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a hint of amazement over the other parties hiding abilities.

Even after combing through most of the Shattered Star Peaks without entering some clearly dangerous areas, he had found along the way, Xuan Hao could only give up searching for now.

Whoosh~

Returning back to the ancient teleportation formation, Xuan Hao glanced around the area just outside the teleportation formation one last time before entering it again.

Even if he wanted to continue searching, he already understood that he wouldn't be able to find the other party.

All he could do now, was hope that the other party would not cause any destruction in the territory of the Flying Sword Sect in fear of the Sky Empire. Hopefully, the other party would just leave the Flying Sword Sect's territory and head for somewhere different.

However, this was only something Xuan Hao could hope for. After all, the other party was not a human and might not even know about the Sky Empire and the fact that the Flying Sword Sect was inside the territory of the Sky Empire…
