Right after Flouree entered this state, her perception of magic and her affinity with the surrounding mana reached a whole new realm.

She stared at Zero who was standing in the distance before snapping her fingers and summoning a sphere of mana behind her.

And without further ado, she gently waved her hand forward before pointing at Zero. "Tremolo!"

Following her words, the spheres of mana behind her started shooting a barrage of magical beams that headed toward Zero at extreme speed.

Zero noticed that the magic that Flouree currently had was entirely different from the ones that he had seen so far. He could see that this magic was created by Flouree and could only be used by her.

Zero entered the state of Reality Manifestation almost immediately before sprinting ahead, dodging all of the magical beams heading over him.

A series of explosions could be seen behind him as he moved forward fearlessly.

Just like how Zero noticed the change in Flouree's magic, she also discovered that Zero entered a special state that was outside of her understanding.

Given her status as the captain of the Earners Mercenary Group, she encountered quite a lot of players who had a set of unique techniques of their own. There were also some individuals who could enter a special state during the battle, improving their overall performance.

But from what she could see, Zero entered a state that she hadn't seen before. She could feel the pressure that he was emitting and his movements surpassed the limits that the system had set.

It was similar to her current state yet also different. The current state that Zero had seemed to be a complete one compared to her incomplete magical state.

Seeing that she couldn't afford to let her guard down even for a moment. She quickly waved and swung her staff before pointing it forward.

When she shouted those words, the mana spheres floating behind her started moving. A portion of them moved forward, heading toward where Zero was, while the rest stayed behind and formed a fan-shaped formation.

Then they started firing another barrage of magical beams.

The first group of mana spheres surrounded Zero, covering every direction. They were also moving alongside him, maintaining that formation while moving.

Zero couldn't use the sword techniques in his arsenal since he needed to keep dodging the magical beams flying at him in every direction. Their speed was insane while their accuracy was top-notch.

Realizing that he would not be able to fight properly in this situation, he decided to head over to Flouree. He didn't have to worry about these powerful beams of light if he took care of the caster.

Flouree was naturally aware of his plan which was why she had the other half of her mana spheres behind her.

She continuously used Blink and other movement spells to get away from Zero, creating considerable distance between the two of them.

She was also firing another barrage of magical beams from the mana spheres behind her, preventing Zero from catching up to her.

But due to her continuous movements, her accuracy dropped a little and gave Zero an opportunity to counterattack.

He used a series of sword techniques to repel the magic beams as well as throwing a barrage of sword qi strikes towards Flouree.

Then Flouree suddenly stopped running and stood on a single spot before slamming the bottom of her staff on the ground.

Immediately after that, a string of lights suddenly connected mana spheres in the surroundings, creating a dome with polygon designs on it.

Then Zero's movements came to a sudden halt due to the emergence of heavy pressure within that dome field.

Before Zero could even adjust to what happened, Flouree quickly raised her free hand in the air before lowering it in a gentle manner and stopping when it pointed at Zero in the distance.

Then all of the mana spheres suddenly shot a beam of light that was focusing on Zero.

Each of those beams was carrying a powerful force that could obliterate anyone the moment when they touched their targets. But despite that being the case, Zero continued to wear an unfazed expression and remained calm.

Then he slightly relaxed his stance and his grip over his swords before closing his eyes. He then started perceiving the paths of every beam heading in his direction and reading their timings perfectly.

A moment later, a gust of wind suddenly appeared and started to revolve around him. This wind was not ordinary as it carried a much higher concentration of wind elements compared to the one that he usually used.

The wind started to spin rapidly and created a vortex that seemed to be protected from any harm.

Then he started executing a series of sword techniques, linking them with each other in perfection. He was making those techniques looked like sets of movements of a single technique.

For each sword technique that he performed, he blocked a beam of light that was shot at him, not letting any of them harm him in the slightest.

And right the firing stopped, he quickly kicked the ground and launched himself towards Flouree who was still in the middle of recovering herself.

His movements were fast as the wind, not giving Flouree a chance to cast another spell.

Being in that predicament, Flouree knew that she would lose if she didn't show decisiveness. She quickly slammed the bottom of her staff on the ground once again, detonating all of the mana spheres in the surrounding.

"Dissonance!" shouting this word loudly, all of the mana spheres in the surround exploded one after another, making the surrounding mana get distorted.

Bang! Bang!

The series of explosions started to resonate with each other despite the chaos that they created. Then it caused a massive explosion that swept both Flouree and Zero who was currently within the dome formation earlier.

Boom!

The explosion swept over the two, blinding both of them with its light. Flouree should be fine since it was her magic power, in the first place. But Zero should not be able to escape it since he was instantly devoured by it right after it occurred.

Fortunately, the Divine Wind that was protecting his body was able to negate almost all of the damage that he was supposedly going to receive.

But it didn't mean that he managed to get out of the explosion unscratched. He almost had a quarter of his health left when he escaped the effective radius of the explosion.

He got out of the cloud of smoke as fast as he could, taking out a Master Rank Potion in the process. He quickly drank it without any hesitation, before casting his gaze forward.

His light of sight might have been blocked by the cloud of smoke, but he could at least tell that his opponent was currently in the middle of casting another powerful spell.

He could sense the gathering of energy in a single location despite the chaotic fluctuation of mana caused by the previous explosion.

Hu~!

Taking a deep breath, Zero raised one of his swords in the air and gathered the surrounding wind elemental mana towards it, creating a powerful vortex with him at the center.

And after a few moments, the vortex of wind suddenly condensed and formed a huge sword with a jade color above Zero.

He then swung the sword down with great force, seemingly planning to split everything in front of him.

'Divine Swordsmanship: Separation of Clouds'

This sword strike split the cloud of smoke in front of him, revealing his opponent.

But before the jade sword could even land on Flouree, it was suddenly stopped by an invisible barrier protecting her.

Since the cloud of smoke was finally cleared, Zero could now see what his opponent was doing. Flouree was currently collecting the scattered mana from every direction and gathering them at the tip of her staff.

She currently held her staff in front of her and pointed it forward. A glowing sphere was at its tip where the surrounding mana was being gathered. There was also a series of runes around that sphere, creating a huge magic circle.

And before Zero could even respond, Flouree released all of the accumulated magic power right after it reached its peak.

"Final Tempo!"

The moment when those words left her mouth, a massive beam of light suddenly shot from the tip of her staff where the magic circle was located.

It traveled at extreme speed, obliterating everything that was in its path.

Seeing that, Zero flipped his swords a couple of times before holding them firmly as both of his arms were spread widely.

The Divine Wind surrounding him also became even more violent, creating a small yet powerful tornado surrounding him.

Hu~!

He then squatted his hips, focusing a lot of strength on his legs before kicking the ground and lunging forward.

Bang!

A small crater appeared on the place where previously stood followed loud explosion as well as a violent air ripple on it.

A sonic boom was accompanying Zero as he flew straight to the beam of light in front of him fearlessly.

He then held both of his swords in front of him, pointing them forward as the vortex of wind surrounding him became even more violent. It spiraled around his body in rapid motion before turning into a powerful torrent of wind with a pointed head.
