"You! Who really are you?"

Shin said those words with mixed and unexplainable feelings. He didn't who was this person in front of him, but the sense of familiarity that he was getting was really strong.

​ He wanted to know the identity of this person who was residing inside his Sea of Consciousness. He was sure that he was not a seed demon because the aura and atmosphere that were coming from the latter were completely different.

He already met the first seed demon before and their natural aura was completely wicked. For some unknown reason, he didn't say that seed demon anymore after that encounter, but he could still vividly remember the feeling that he got at that time.

On the other hand, the person in front of him was emitting an aura that was neither good nor evil. One thing was sure, this person was obviously related to him since he was in this place and seemed to be familiar with Shin's nature.

The question was, 'how much related were they?'.

That person was naturally Uno and Shin couldn't remember him, or rather he was erased from the latter's memory.

And since that was the case, Uno didn't have any plan of revealing his identity and telling Shin the relationship between them yet.

Uno released a helpless sigh before responding to Shin's question. "You are the only one who can answer that question. The fact that you didn't know who I am can only mean that you are still not ready to know the truth."

Shin wanted to ask what was the meaning of those words, but he refrained from inquiring further since he could tell that this person had no intention of telling him anything.

Given that, he quickly recollected himself before focusing on the current matter at hand.

He sat crossed legs in front of Uno before asking. "So, what do you want me to do to covert some of the growing Demonic Qi within my dantian to Sacred Qi?"

Hearing that, Uno couldn't help but sneer at Shin, finding those words funny. "Heh! You? Don't get the wrong idea, you are not the one who is going to do that."

Shin raised his eyebrow when he heard that. "What?"

Then Uno squinted his eyes and looked at Shin straight to the eyes before saying. "Use that stupid eyes of yours and have a closer look at me to understand what was going on."

Shin was slightly confused but still complied. He then used one of the ocular techniques that he created through mentalism before observing Uno's body.

That was when he realized what was going on.

Uno was currently in the middle of digesting the massive amount of Demonic Qi that he just devoured earlier, Shin already knew about that since he had already taken a look earlier. But now that he had gotten a closer look, he could see that it was not as simple as that.

This person's control over the Demonic Qi was really amazing. If Shin was not sure that Uno was not a seed demon, then he would surely suspect that this person was one of them.

Shin became even more curious about the real identity of this mysterious entity.

While he was still slightly distracted by his curiosity, Shin suddenly heard the next words from Uno. "You are still far from understanding the state of 'conflict and dependence', so how are you going to proceed to the state of 'unification', much less the state of 'transformation and conversion'?"

Shin immediately understood the meaning of those words and quickly asked. "So, are you telling me that you are already capable of transforming Yin Energy into Yang Energy?"

Uno slightly shook his head and responded. "I may be far from perfection but I am still way better than you in this regard."

"I am at least close to achieving the state of 'Absolute Zenith'," he added with a ridiculing tone.

"That's im-…" Shin wanted to say that was impossible since aside from his master, no one had a better understanding than them when it came to the principle of 'unification of Yin and Yang'.

Professor Plum dedicated all his life to studying this principle. He even created a special Martial Art and Swordsmanship based on it. And on top of that, he also created a pair of Breathing Techniques to complement them.

If even Old Plum failed to completely fuse all those together, then how could someone achieve it with ease?

But due for some unknown reason, Shin couldn't find the words to refute the words that Uno just said. It was as if he was agreeing that it was possible to combine the 'White Dawn Boundary' and 'Black Origin Threshold' if it was this person.

Because of this, Shin became even more confused but also curious at the same time. He seemed to find an unconditional trust when it came to this person.

"So, what do you want me to do?" asked Shin with a serious tone.

Uno looked at Shin, who seemed to become a little different all of a sudden, before replying. "Before that, let me ask you something first."

Uno took a brief moment to pause before saying with full seriousness. "Are you willing to Seal your Martial-Art attainments for who knows how long?"

Shin was suddenly taken aback when he heard those words. "Seal? What are you planning to do."

Uno didn't dodge Shin's gaze and answered. "For you to overcome this predicament, you need to seal your dantian first, so that the excess energies from the collision of your Sacred Qi and Demonic Qi will not go to waste."

"If you let these two opposing Qi continue wreaking havoc within your dantian, those excess energies will surely overflow and dissipate after a short time."

"This can cause your accumulated Qi to decrease and weaken, affecting your foundation. Your Sacred Qi will also become much weaker compared to your Demonic Qi."

"After all, you can't gather any 'Force of Nature' to nurture your Sacred Qi when your body is busy dealing with the current state of your dantian. On the other hand, your Demonic Qi will continue to grow because of the Qi that I am currently digesting."

Shin already knew that Uno was somewhat connected to the sudden growth of his Demonic Qi, but the situation was a little too much from what he originally thought

Uno ignored the weird gaze from Shin once again before continuing to explain. "Originally, this is not going to be a problem if only there is a capable Mentalist outside aside from that stupid Senior Brother of yours."

'He even knew who are the people around me,' commented Shin inside his head as his eyes suddenly turned sharp. But he still couldn't find the reason to become wary of this person. It was as if he found those words completely normal.

"Even if that guy is very strong and talented, he is still at the level where he can penetrate the defense mechanism of your body," continued Uno, making Shin to snapped out of his suspicions.

'Defense mechanism?' thought Shin, before quickly sending his mind outside to take a look at what was happening on his body.

He then saw that his body was currently covered by a very strong Mental Energy that was preventing any kind of interference from the outside.

"What is happening?"

Confused, Shin quickly moved and look for the source of this unfamiliar yet also familiar Mental Energy.

Then he arrived at another part of his Sea of Consciousness where he found the thick tower wall made of Mental Energy.

This was the wall that he saw before when he first checked and explored his Sea of Consciousness. Based on his deductions during that time, he was suspecting that this particular 'wall' was left behind by his parents to seal something within his body.

After seeing that it was making a move, it could only mean that the current state of his dantian was truly dire.

Swoosh!

In a blink of an eye, Shin sent himself back to the place where Uno was currently located.

"That 'wall' probably responded since it sensed how terrifying the Demonic Qi that you are trying to digest," he said right after coming back.

"I am not only digesting it. I am also suppressing and preventing your Demonic Qi from going berserk," replied Uno in an annoyed tone. He looked like a kid who was complaining about always getting the most troublesome work.

Shin didn't know why but he felt comfortable around this mysterious person. He then sat in front of Uno before saying. "Given your control over Demonic Qi and based on what you just said earlier, I am guessing that you are planning to use the principle of 'unification', 'transformation', and 'conversion' under the Yin-Yang Martial Arts, am I right?"

"You still haven't answered my question yet," said Uno in response.

"I don't have a choice, do I?" replied Shin in a nonchalant tone.

Uno was silent for a moment before nodding his head and explaining what they were going to do. "Since that 'wall' is already been situated inside your Sea of Consciousness for a long time, I am pretty sure that it will at least listen to you."

Shin's suspicion grew when he heard those words since he could tell that this person was very familiar with him and his body. Regardless, he chose to remain silent and continued to listen.

"You can use the mantra of the 'Jade Kirin Scripture' if you want to communicate with it. As for the rest, I am pretty sure that you already know what to do," added Uno before closing his eyes to focus on digesting the Demonic Qi that he absorbed.

"So, you want me to use the powerful Mental Energy that that 'wall' had to suppress the chaos within my dantian and seal all of the possible exits," asked Shin to clarify.

"Then will happen if I seal my dantian with it?" he added even though he already knew what to do.

"Heh!" Uno couldn't help but sneer at Shin once again for asking such a stupid question. "Isn't it obvious? Of course, you will not be able to use your Martial-Arts for a considerable amount of time."

"For how long?" asked Shin in an instant.

Uno shrugged his shoulders before answering. "I also don't know, maybe weeks or months? But I am confident that it will not take a year."

Shin didn't ask those questions cluelessly like an idiot. He asked those obvious questions to confirm something. "You, for how long do you know me?"

This time, Uno opened his eyes, revealing his purple pupils once again. He looked at Shin straight in the eyes once again before giving his answer. "Much longer than what you can think off."

"Are we close?" asked Shin again.

"Hah!" Uno felt like laughing but he held himself back. He then shook his head. "I am not sure about that."

"I am neither your friend nor foe, but at the very least, I am someone you can put your trust in," he added without retracting his gaze.

Then silence filled the entire place as the two remained quiet after Uno had said those words.

A few moments later, Shin started closing his eyes while doing a series of hand seals based on the 'Jade Kirin Scripture'.

"Then I am going to start now," he said.
