Chapter 822 The Unachievable State (Part 1)

Uno kept on attacking until he got used to the state that he was currently in.

He already used the 'White Dawn Boundary' alongside the 'Demonic Qi' to suppress the dark nature that it had. And after being in that state for a long time made him master it.

Now that he was using the 'Black Origin Threshold' to complement the nature of the 'Sacred Qi' and strengthen its powers, he needed to master this particular state to achieve the ideal style that he was planning to achieve.

Naturally, the seed demon could sense what was actually happening and immediately became furious about it. After all, no one would want to be a practice dummy for someone to hone their skills, especially when it was in a middle of a real battle instead of a sparring match.

And to make it even worse, Uno did not only plan this out from the very beginning, but he also been doing it boldly in front of a life-and-death situation where a single misstep could cost his existence.

"You arrogant kid! Stop looking down on me!" shouted the seed demon.

It was impossible to see the expression that he currently had since his face was completely covered by purple smoke, which was also covering his entire body. But from the tone that had, it was pretty clear that he was fully enraged.

Boom!

And due to that rage, his Demonic Qi that was already been violent became even more threatening.

Uno was pushed backward by the explosion of Qi that was released by the seed demon. He also had a hard time warding off the pressure that was coming from the latter due to how violent it was.

He even covered his whole body with the Sacred Qi to fight the pressure but it was still not enough to stop himself from sliding backward since the pressure was getting stronger as time went by.

Uno's chest expanded as he inhaled deeply before uncrossing his arms in a very powerful manner while also shouting alongside it.

The air around him exploded and created a violent gale that was sent in every direction, fighting the pressure and stopping himself from moving further away.

The Sacred Qi surrounding him was like a raging flame, illuminating the hellish world around him with its brilliant glow.

But despite that being the case, the expression on Uno's face was still a little serious. It was because right in front of him was a towering Demonic Qi. It was as tall as a mountain, making the silver-white Qi that he had completely insignificant in comparison.

But aside from the little seriousness on his face, he seemed to be able to keep his calm. It was as if he was confident that he could still win this battle without question.

"It is still not enough, I still need something to meet my ideal state," muttered Uno to himself before closing his eyes and started regulating his breathing.

Seeing that Uno was not paying attention to him despite the overwhelming difference in their respective Qi, the seed demon couldn't help but become even more enraged and started attacking.

He released a horrifying roar that shook the entire place as the size of his body grew. He was tall enough to call himself a giant, especially when his Demonic Qi was a set of blazing armor that was covering his entire body.

Boom!

The air seemed to explode as he threw his fist downward. It directly targeted Uno who was standing still and keeping his eyes closed.

"Countering force with soft movements, absorbing it and returning it twofold," muttered Uno as he adjusted his breathing.

He transitioned from the 'Black Origin Threshold' to 'White Dawn Boundary' within an instant. And alongside it, the 'Sacred Qi' covering his body was immediately replaced by the 'Demonic Qi'.

Cough!

There seemed to be a slight problem when he was transitioning between the two breathing techniques which made him cough uncomfortably and groan in pain. But despite that being the case, he still braced himself and steeled his heart, before moving his body according to his thoughts.

He slightly twisted his waist and swiftly ducked to the side while also striding forward.

Swoosh!

With those series of movements, he barely dodged the huge fist that was coming after him.

Hong!

The surrounding that fist was sending a violent ripple because of the unstoppable force that was coming alongside it.

But Uno completely ignored that violent air ripple and stayed near it. He then put the back of his wrist against the giant fist as it was brushing past him. He maintained his stance and stood his ground while absorbing the force that the fist was carrying.

After that, he quickly adjusted his center of gravity and put all of the accumulated force that he absorbed on his arm before releasing all of it by pushing that arm upwards.

Bang!

That push redirected the course for the giant fist and was sent back to his opponent.

All of it only happened within a split second so there was no time for the seed demon to react in time. And by the time he realized what just happened, his fist already hit his other shoulder.

Bang!

The seed demon, who was that in his gigantic form, took a series of steps backward to stabilize his footing. The force behind his punch was very heavy so the impact behind it was quite unimaginable.

But that was not the end as Uno was already getting ready for his next move right after he was done with his previous actions.

Hu~!

"Concentrating all of the force on a certain point and making all of it explode with a single action," he was still muttering to himself as he changed the rhythm of his breathing once again.

This time, he transitioned from using the 'White Dawn Boundary' to 'Black Origin Threshold'. And just like earlier, the 'Demonic Qi' was quickly replaced by the 'Sacred Qi'

Bang!

Uno kicked the ground and launched himself in the air, leaving a trail of silver light behind. It drew a beautiful arc in the air as he arrived in front of his opponent before throwing a powerful strike with his glowing fist.

Boom!

All of the accumulated Qi that he gathered on that fist was released all at the same time, creating a massive explosion that devoured the giant face of the seed demon.

Roar!

But that was still not enough to take down a gigantic opponent behind him. That seed demon would not be going down easily.

Whoosh!

He quickly threw its giant fist at Uno who was currently in the middle of his fall.

But just like earlier, the silver-white Qi surrounding Uno quickly turned into a pitch-black one alongside the sudden change of the rhythm of his breathing. And quickly after that, he slapped the incoming fist in midair.

That slap might not be strong enough to change the direction of the incoming fist, but it was more than enough for Uno to dodge that attack. He then used the momentum of his actions to spin in the air before throwing a very strong kick at the giant arm of his opponent.

Bang!

That arm was sent awake by Uno, making the seed demon lose his footing once again. But this time, the demon already learned his lesson and quickly used the momentum of his movements to throw another attack with his other arm.

Whoosh!

But Uno just did the same and slightly slapped the incoming fist and used the momentum to do a rolling spin in the air. And since he was right above the passing arm of his opponent, he did a powerful downward kick to send it towards the ground.

Bang!

Shifting between the two breathing techniques was really putting a great toll on Uno, making it hard for him to do a series of attacks when he had the upper hand. But no matter how hard it was, he had no choice but to endure all of the burdens and continue moving his body to attack proactively.

,m Naturally, the seed demon noticed the irregularity of Uno's movements and quickly threw a barrage of punches at his opponent, not willing to be stacked in a passive position.

Series after series of explosions were being created as the two continued to fight with all they got. It was supposedly the domain of the seed demon, so he should be the one dictating the direction of this battle.

But after exchanging a few more blows with Uno, the seed demon started to become terrified. He knew that if he lost his concentration even for a brief moment, he would lose this battle within an instant.

But the worst part about this battle was the fact that he couldn't prevent what was about to come.

After the series of exchanges that had with Uno, the seed demon knew that this young man was steadily gaining power and slowly becoming stronger and stronger the longer they fought. And he couldn't do anything about it since he was already busy protecting himself from the series of attacks of his opponent.

Roar!

All he could do was released a terrifying roar from time to time, hoping to interrupt the concentration that Uno had.

Unfortunately, all of it was not affecting Uno in the slightest. It was because he was busy concentrating on something.

"Almost there! A little bit more! That ideal state is already within my reach," muttered Uno repeatedly, making the seed demon even more anxious.

And not long after, the thing that made the seed demon afraid finally arrived.

State that no one would expect and dare to achieve was attained by 'mere' Ego!
