Chapter 357 Cat Dad Distribute Cultivation Resources

Chapter 357 – Cat Dad Distribute Cultivation Resources

After assigning teams, Meowmeow gathered all immortals, Andrew, and Peter to teach them how to craft artifacts and pylon crystals. As for Xiaomao and other mortals, they were kicked out and forced to train.

Before Xiaomao left, he purified the Nibelung Ring and gave it to Joan.

"I got your items, munya."

Joan's eyes gleamed, but she remained expressionless as usual. She put the ring on her left ring finger without hesitation. Then, she leaned over and kissed Xiaomao's forehead.

Xiaomao didn't think much, but the girls glared at the fallen valkyrie in jealousy. Only Lucky, who didn't participate in the meeting, was indifferent to Joan's actions.

When Xiaomao finished the meeting, he went straight to the treasure room and gathered the obsolete equipment, gears, trinkets, and artifacts. Then, he shoved them to John, Shepherd, and Lucky.

"When Andrew and Peter come out, share some of these items with them, munya. Tell them that it's for the starting fund when we get separated. They can sell them for gold coins and PACTs to start out, munya."

Xiaomao wasn't worried about John and Shepherd, but he was concerned about Andrew and Peter. As those dwarves had been working on various projects, they didn't have enough time to train. As such, their strength fell behind.

Then, there was Lucky.

Xiaomao gazed at the tamed gnoll girl, who looked around like a panicking hamster. Xiaomao rechecked her stats.

Lucky, the Gnoll General, Level 446

She made some improvement, but she also fell behind like the others. Moreover, she might be sent to a strange place alone if Solomon wouldn't allow retainers to follow their masters to the new place.

Xiaomao thought of something. As he remembered that he had cultivation resources for level-400 cultivators, he brought out a sample of the item.

.

Essence Core Crystal

Cultivators always rely on essence cores instead of spirit stones because of their superior efficiency. The Qi of the cores is denser than the spirit stones, and it benefits the cultivator's physique. However, because of its intense energy, many cultivators advise their juniors not to take the essence cores until they are at least level 400 or higher.

Item Type: Consumable, Array Ingredient

Rarity: Ultra Rare

Restriction: Level 400 or higher, Cultivator Class

Effect:

- Increase EXP by 1,000,000,000

- Permanently increase Qi by 10,000.

- Permanently increase LUCK by 100.

- Permanently increase all stats by 100.

- Permanently increase all spiritual roots by 100.

- Permanently increase max HP and MP by 1,000.

.

From Xiaomao's perspective, 100 points of attributes didn't worth much anymore. However, as Lucky could consume 100 essence core crystals a day, her stats and level could rapidly increase.

Xiaomao unlocked a spatial ring that he picked up from the treasure room. Then, a game-like inventory window appeared, showing the list of items inside. Ignoring the useless weaponry, clothes, food, and other trivial tools, Xiaomao ejected all spirit stones and essence core crystals from the inventory.

"Lucky, this is important. Use as many essence core crystals as you can, munya. Every time you reach your daily limit, ask somebody in the dungeon to be your spar partner. If nobody is free, go to the B1 floor and kill some Bacteria monsters there, munya. Get used to your new strength as quickly as possible, munya."

Confused, Lucky reluctantly accepted the essence core crystals. But when she realized what they were, her tail wagged.

"Master, can I eat these?"

"It's for cultivation, munya. Use it. Don't eat it."

"Ow. Shame."

Lucky's tail dropped. She was disappointed.

Thinking of Andrew and Peter, Xiaomao went back to the treasure room and searched for more spatial rings. Sure enough, the recent invasion of Joan and the players brought in wealth and a thousand ownerless spatial rings with cultivation resources inside.

Xiaomao randomly picked two rings and unlocked them. Then, he rushed back to Andrew and Peter, who was still listening to Meowmeow's crash course lecture.

Without making noise or interfering with their meeting, Xiaomao shoved the two rings to the dwarves. Then, he saluted, telling them to continue what they were doing.

The dwarves nodded and put the rings in their pockets. None of them was aware of what their liege had blessed them.

After bestowing the weak subordinates some resources, Xiaomao furrowed his brow. He had a feeling that he forgot someone important.

He turned around and began counting heads.

"Lucky, Shepherd, Andrew, Peter, John… where's James, munya? Oh right. The vampire isolation."

Remembering that James became a vampire and his strength was comparable to John, he was relieved.

After ensuring that the combatants were ready for the mass migration, Xiaomao turned his attention to the SDM Guild's representative, who looked lost in this large boss room.

Xiaomao remembered the guy well even though he was now a she. As Master Yeet almost killed Xiaomao when they first met, he couldn't forget how deadly Master Yeet's sword slashes were. But now, those skills and damages were insignificant to him as his HP and defense were similar to a raid boss instead of a player's character.

He approached Master Yeet.

"Are you lost, munya?"

Master Yeet looked around to find the speaker. However, she couldn't find anyone.

"Look down, munya. I'm over here."

Not everybody was used to Xiaomao's catopus physique and his small round physique, Master Yeet was unable to find Xiaomao unless the latter told her where he was. When Master Yeet gazed at her foot, she finally saw a transparent round head of the dungeon master.

"Oh, err, hi."

Master Yeet was taken aback. But then, she finally remembered the incident when they had first met.

"It feels weird working for someone who attacked and killed me out of the blue," Master Yeet dryly laughed.

"Games are like that, munya. Say, how is your guild, munya? Can you manage?"

"It's cool, actually. The boys...no, the girls love the buffs and the cultivation method you provide. By the way, Mary told me that we can get free spirit stones every month. Is that true?"

Xiaomao's expression turned dark. He had no idea what Mary had done. But since Master Yeet brought this up, Xiaomao believed it would be unwise to shut down his hope.

"I haven't checked with the management team yet, munya. I don't know about the detail, but I told my workers that everybody must be treated fairly, munya. Also…"

Xiaomao glanced at Master Yeet's level. It was in the mid-300s.

Noticing that her level range was around Andrew and Peter's strength, he had an idea.

"I have a job for you, munya."

"Yes, boss?"

"After the patch next week, you and my retainers might be sent to the same world, munya. I want you to protect them and help them if needed, munya."

"Err… sure."

Master Yeet sounded reluctant and insincere. However, Xiaomao knew how to tame this type of employee.

"Extra pay, 3,000 spirit stones a month, munya. The condition is that both of them have to be alive at all costs, munya. If something happen to them, you get no pay!"

"T-Three thousand spirit stones?!"

Master Yeet started counting her fingers. Her pupils turned into the $ symbol as he calculated how much money she could get from selling the precious spirit stones.

"Are you in or not, munya?" Xiaomao closed the sale.

"Yes, boss! Of course!"

Seeing how easy it was to bribe a player, Xiaomao sighed, "The payment will be on the first day of each month, munya. I'll try to find a way to transfer items and spirit stones to my retainers, then they will pay you for your service."

"Understood, sir! I won't let you down!"

After entrusting Master Yeet with a task, Xiaomao thought of Mary and the Korean businessmen. He wondered if those people would be teleported to the newbie planets as well as most of them were under level 100.

Unfortunately, Xiaomao had no time to check on everybody. He had another issue at hand.

He needed to train and catch up with John. Otherwise, he would be isolated in the level 700 bracket, and he would be in great danger.

Rushing to train, Xiaomao went to the boss room's teleportation platform. He activated it and sent himself to the residential floor, where he could rest in his new house and cultivate in peace.

= Seaside Town =

WHOOSH

A player's character manifested in the middle of the town. The black-haired Japanese man with a long coat and two swords looked around to get familiarized with the game world.

Hiiro Narukami opened his inventory menu and checked his supplies, food, potions, spare weapons, and backup equipment.

'I'm short on potions and food. I doubt I can reach the final dungeon boss within a day. I should resupply.'

Hiiro walked toward the town plaza, which had been reconstructed after the previous invasion of the Party Girl and other attacks.

Because of Odin's forces, many traveling NPCs heard of this place and migrated here. 70% of the immigrants were from Midgard while the rest were random refugees from other small villages.

Wherever a town was built, merchants flocked to the place, and the money circulated. Wherever money circulated, players followed. And wherever players gathered, guilds, shops, and various structures rose. Although it hadn't been long since the last conflict, players and NPC craftsmen constructed new houses and guild buildings to rejuvenate the destroyed town.

Hiiro ignored the busy players and NPCs. He explored the plaza market to find an auction house NPC or potion merchants. Along the way, he noticed a few shops, but they all sold low-quality potions and medicines.

As an immortal, Hiiro needed better quality potions as his HP was over a hundred million. A low-tier medicine or pill that could only heal 1,000 HP wasn't enough for him.

'This is bad. This backwater world doesn't have pills like the cultivation world. At this rate, I won't be able to restore my HP in the dungeon.'

Hiiro clicked his tongue. Since he couldn't get a good pill supplier, he postponed the dungeon raid for a day. In the end, he logged out to research the game forum, hoping to purchase a pill recipe from other servers.

= Mount Tian Yuan =

On top of a forested mountain was a 100-story pagoda. And on the topmost level was the resident of Ma Moxi, the immortal who had been protecting this mountain.

After the cross-server tournament, Ma Moxi had been recuperating here and cultivating. His level quickly rose to 2,000, but it was not enough to catch up with his allies.

WHOOSH

Suddenly, a portal appeared in the middle of the floor that Ma Moxi had been cultivating. An angel walked out, and the portal was closed.

Ma Moxi slowly opened his eyes. Then, he gazed at his old friend.

"That is the last face that I want to see here. What the hell are you doing in my tower, Miaomiao?"

Mao Miaomiao laughed at his old friend, "Surprise visit, what else? Well, your place is kinda on the hotspot for a dimension portal, so I don't have a choice."

Ma Moxi snorted, "What happened to your world? Did Hongjun defeat you?"

"Hell, no. It's more like I busted their nuts so hard that they ran away from me, but Hongjun is so spiteful that he's planning to bring his troops here to hunt down my son for revenge. What else can I do? Of course, Imma beat those mofo's sorry asses again and shove the fattest orc dicks in their rectums!"

Ma Moxi rolled his eyes. He was used to Mao Miaomiao's vulgarness, "Your trip might be in vain. That new guy in the neighborhood is about to teleport everyone and their chickens to new worlds."

"I heard about it. Yeah, that sucks. But since many forces are on the move, I have to make this trip quick. Anyway, catch you later. I have a few places to visit and so many wives to bang. Come to think of it, has your wives reincarnated yet? Can I make that Ku'er my wife? I haven't tried a nine-tail fox yet."

"SCRAM!"

"BAHAHAHAHA!"
