【Yesterday was the first day of Feng Xing’s death, Li Huan also died.

Li Huan’s closest followers all knew that it was Feng Xing’s ghost coming to exact revenge on them.

“Hey, have you noticed? Ge Yu has gone mad ever since Li Huan’ death. She keeps mumbling about Feng Xing all day long. What a coward. HaHa!”

“That’s right! In the past she used to bully that lunatic so much, and now she’s fearing about retribution.”

“Hahaha!”

Feng Xing died. Li Huan also died.

The class leader is gone, so naturally another leader would appear. The bullied person is also gone, so naturally another bullied person would appear.

Ge Yu is now the new victim. She replaced Feng Xing as the new bullied person of the class, and is being ostracized and picked on by everyone else.

Everything she had encouraged Li Huan to do to Feng Xing was being done back to her.

In just one short day, Ge Yu became dispirited and started acting weirdly.

That evening when the sky was turning dark and most of the students were preparing to leave, Ge Yu leaned against the window, smiling nervously.

She looked out of the window, at the black fog that was encasing the school, at the students who were being swallowed by the black fog. Then, she started laughing madly.

“Hahaha!! We’re all going to die! We’re all going to die!”

On the roof top, a dark figure with long black hair also let out a laugh, a screechy and bone-chilling laugh.

“Hee Hee Hee!” 】

**********

Feng Xing felt his body fall from the building, cheeks stinging from the sharp winds.

(Orange: Author is using male pronouns)

He wanted to shout, but had no strength to.

At the sound of a heavy weight hitting the ground, strong resentment filled Feng Xing’s originally clear eyes.

Hatred flooded his being.

Why? Just why wouldn’t God let him go?

He had already killed his foster mother, and gotten rid of all those cannon fodders that got in the way of his and Senior’s love. All he needed to do was get rid of his foster mother’s curse, then he’ll be able to live a happily ever after with Senior.

But, he died.

He couldn’t accept this. Why could other people live happily, while he has to endure this sufferable fate?

Kill! Kill! Kill! Just I’ll kill all those alive and let them experience my pain!

No one noticed that a resentful ghost formed above the bloodily splattered corpse on the ground.

As soon as the ghost appeared, the whole city’s yin started to unconsciously gather around it, increasing the ghost’s power significantly and simultaneously announcing to the 100 year old ghosts of the city the birth of a Ghost King.

In some obscure corner where regular people can’t see, thousands of ghosts submitted themselves to this king.

At first, the powerful ghost king was in a trance, but slowly revealed his malice towards the living.

After noticing the yin energy that was being entangled with in his body, his eyes flashed with hatred.

His throat seemed to be injured as he made strange noises to express his anger, “Eugh er, ah!”

Wu Yun Yi!

With a light wave of his hand, he summoned the owner of the yin energy.

Unsurprisingly it was his dead adoptive mother, Wu Yun Yi.

The ghost king, who was Feng Xing, glanced at the crying ghost he was holding in his palms and devoured her.

While he was in the process of eating her, listening to Wu Yu Yi’s painful screams made him very happy.

“Ah! Ah! Ah! I was wrong! You were destined to be the Ghost King! I miscalculated! Damn it!!!-“

And with that, the women that made him live like a ghost no longer existed.

After swallowing the soul of his adoptive mother, Feng Xing stood still, thinking about what to do next.

He seemed to have forgotten something important.

Was it murder? Feng Xing looked at the building where he fell from and at the panicking crowd around him.

Right, he needed to kill everyone.

Feng Xing flashed his sharp new black nails.

As a newly formed ghost, he was disgusted by the living people around him and wanted to imprison their souls and let them experience his pains and struggles.

However, before he could execute his plans, a young man came running from a difference. The young man’s appearance was incredibly beautiful, enough to make Feng Xing fell intoxicated.

He was, Senior Zhou Yu!

At once, Feng Xing regained his senses and his eyes were filled with love.

He remembers now! He and Senior agreed to go home together, but now he can’t be with him anymore.

Feng Xing looked at his splattered corpse, and even deeper anger flashed through his eyes. How could he appear in front of Zhou Yu in such a hideous state!

Damn you Li Huan! Damn you all!

The hatred made Feng Xing loose his senses. He looked greedily at Senior, a strange impulse filled him. He wanted to imprison Senior, that way Senior will only belong to him and him alone.

But looking at Senior’s painful expression, Feng Xing woke again. It wasn’t worth it. Senior deserved the best in the world, or at least something better than a resentful ghost.

Feng Xing looked at his current form in disgust. With such an ugly appearance, how could he be a good match for Senior!

(The form is Feng Xing’s appearance before he died, or his male body.)

Soon afterwards, his whole body was covered by an ominous black fog. At least outwardly, people could only see a pair of frightful eyes peeking through a layer of black hair.

Feng Xing stood in place, staring stiffly at Senior. He didn’t want Senior to see his ugly appearance. Then Senior collapsed. Anxiously, Feng Xing walked around wanting to tell Senior that he was fine, but found out that Senior couldn’t hear his voice.

It was only til Senior stood up by himself that Feng Xing let out a sigh of relief.

As his body was being moved to the ambulance, Feng Xing overheard the police discussing the matters of his death. They laughed at how young the victim was and speculated that she had committed suicide over a love. Their words were obscene and slanderous.

Feng Xing’s eyes flashed with hate and the police were wrapped up in black fog that were invisible to the naked eye.

It meant that they will be plagued with bad luck. They will not be doing so well for the next few days.

Satisfied, Feng Xing turned back to be with Senior.

But as soon as he looked back, Senior fainted.

Feng Xing hurriedly went to support Senior, not letting him fall onto the ground.

Then Feng Xing looked at the ambulance. The driver felt a chill run down his spine and suddenly stopped the car.

Soon other people noticed that another student had fainted, but failing to notice the unscientific way he had fallen down. He was hovering a few inches above the ground. Quickly Zhou Yu was also stuffed into the ambulance.

Feng Xing also followed the nurses into the ambulance. He was worried about Senior, but his hatred was not sated. The black fog soon engulfed the whole school.

This invisible fog quickly changed the school into a ghost land, separated from the human world.

And everyone on the campus also ended up falling into hell.

Zheng Qian led his team forward. The nurse muttered, “Ward 309, almost there.”

Who knew how long it had been, but the amount of people in the corridor started to thin out. Soon, only the nurse remained, walking slowly forward.

Staring at the nurse’s back, Zheng Qian felt that something was wrong.

“Stop, who remembers how long we had walked for?”

Hua She Li glanced at his watch and said in surprise, “Captain! It’s one in the afternoon. I think we cam here around 11:30.”

“What? We’ve been walking for that long? I felt like we were only walking for 5 minutes.” Another member felt that it was strange.

After hearing the captain’s question, other members of the team also felt that something wasn’t right and increased their vigilance.

Sha Lei also frowned. After a while when no one was looking, she took out a talisman from her sleeve.

In the next moment, the talisman combusted, scorching Sha Lei’s hand, causing her eyes to widen in fear.

How could this be? That talisman was a test she specifically bought in order to test the level of ghosts. It could detect at least a 500 year old ghost. How could it suddenly ignite? Unless there was a ghost king over 500 years old in the hospital?

The teammate next to Sha Lei, who was stronger than her, noticed Sha Lei’s small movements and grabbed her wrist. In a cold voice he asked, “What are you doing?”

Sha Lei felt that her wrist were being crushed. She hid the hatred in her eyes and smiled, “Don’t be so tense!”

“What can I do? I just bought a talisman, wanted to test out the nearby yin energy. But I didn’t think that it’ll ignite so suddenly. Even burning my hand. It hurts so much!”

!!!

Zheng Qian looked at the remains of the talisman in Sha Lei’s hand with a horrified expression.

That’s… that’s an intermediate testing talisman?!

As a team leader, he had more experience than Sha Lei, so naturally he knew what it meant for the talisman to catch on fire.

But it also meant that he felt more fear than Sha Lei over the sight.

“Hee Hee Hee!” A strange laughter sounded through the corridor. It was extremely harsh sounding, like the sound of a crushed iron box.

The reincarnators paled in fright after hearing the laughter.
