Chapter 171 Lighting God Body

"Hehehe, I understand the Falling City Trial better than anyone else. It's impossible for you to not receive an Aspect. The most important point is that you're talented in other aspects. It's not hard to get a simple Aspect." Grand Envoy giggled confidently.

"Your eyes are indeed sharp. Yes, I have received an Aspect."

Erian slowly closed his eyes for a few seconds and then opened them. Small streak of lightning crackled from his eyes, outward before dissappearing with a sizzle

"This… is the Lightning-Eye Aspect!" Grand Envoy took in a cold breath as shock appeared on her face before she hurriedly concealed it as though nothing had happened. But her thoughts immediately started running. It should have been impossible for anyone to gain such an aspect. It wasn't Tha matter of luck either!

For the past centuries, no one had been able to gain that particular aspect no matter how high their score was! There was one time an academy persuade its students to dedicate their kill points to a single person to earn the highest score which was 400,000 kill points but even then, the student was unable to purchase the aspect from the Falling City Trial therefore, it was deemed impossible to earn by the entire federation.

Who would have thought wrisn would gain that particular aspect?

She was the most knowledgeable and one of the Envoy in the Academy. By just looking at it, she could tell the history of Erian's Aspect.

Calming her thoughts, her face turned solemn as she spoke. "The Bio-reactor symbiosis wasn't the reason I didn't wasn't to accept you as my disciple, the main reason is the Lightning God Body you are now learning!"

Erian eyes widened slightly. "How the hell did you know?" he was beginning to think she could read minds now which elicited a chuckle from the Grand Envoy.

"I could see the lightning seed already forming near your heart with my sight."

"I don't think there's anything with the body strengthening technique though."

The grand envoy shook her head."That is where you are wrong!"

"The amount of lightning needed to advance this physique is enough to power a large city for an hour."

Erin's expression darkened. But then he smiled. "Don't worry master, my physique is stronger than an ordinary first year if you haven't noticed."

The grand envoy snorted as she replied. "A single bolt of lightning can power a city for a minute."

Erian stilled smiled. "Don't worry master, I can handle i-" his face paled all of a sudden when he realized what his master just said.

If a single bolt could power a city for one minute and he is required to absorb the lightning for an hour, just how many bolts of lightning would it require? Even if he managed to survive the firs lightning bolt, how would he survive all the way to the 60th lightning bolt. Even with the lightning eye aspect he received, Erian wasn't confident!

"With this Aspect though , my Lightning Wind Palm will be perfected. Master, do you still go against me training the Lightning Wind Palm?" Erian smiled faintly.

Grand Envoy paused and she looked at Erian with complex emotions.

Erian, who had received the 'Lightning Aspect', definitely had the right to train the Lightning God Body.

"Erian, there's nothing I can teach you since you've already received the Lightning Aspect. I'll recommend you to the 'Three Branch Ball' in a three month's time. But before that, you must reach the position of one of the top five Elite disciples."

Grand Envoy's expression was full of praise and admiration. She might be knowledgeable, but it was nothing in front of the Lightning Aspect.

What made her more relaxed was the fact that Erian might seem arrogant and careless, but in reality, he was calm and cunning. He had no sympathy and he made decision without hesitation.

His attitude was suitable for this world. From Grand Envoys' point of view, the other disciples such as Prince Silver, Brandon, Althea and co. hadn't matured yet and they weren't as cunning as Erian.

"What is this 'Three Branch Ball'?" Erian asked curiously.

Grand Envoy was slightly surprised. Erian didn't even put 'getting into the top 5 Elite disciples' into his heart – from this, his confidence could be seen.

"The Three Branch Ball consists of the Moon god Academy, Silver-god Academy and the Broken god Academy. It's held once every five years and the Broken god Academy would always come last because the Moon God Academy and Silver-god Academy were ranked higher than us in the Thirteen Academies."

After Erian heard this, he couldn't help but sigh: "I can't believe that the Broken god Academy is so weak in the Thirteen Academies."

"Fuck off! The Thirteen Academies are all small powers. All of us similar strengths. The Broken god Academy won't be scared of anyone when it comes to a fight." Grand Envoy swore.

"This… How does one measure how powerful a Academy is?"

Erian suddenly became interested in how the strengths of each Academy was measured. It was obvious that the Broken god Academy was just a cornerstone.

"According to ancient records, the Academies are split into five tiers from one star to five stars. One star being the weakest and five the strongest. The difference in between each star may amount to ten or hundreds of times in strength."

"How many stars does the Broken god Academy have?" Erian asked urgently.

Grand Envoy blushed and her face reddened as she cleared her throat: "Let's change another subject."

Erian had a weird face, but he didn't continue asking. The Three Branch Ball was an opportunity to see the geniuses of other factions.

"Although the Three Branch Ball is only between three academys, the number of geniuses are still high. For example, the Moon God Academy. I heard that they have a person with an Uncertain Body whose talent is comparable to the 6th star nuclear pulse. This meant that his/her talent is even higher than us." Grand Envoy said.
