"The life and death examination of the University already eliminated the weed amongst the recruits therefore most of the talented ones alive always passes the transition recruits. What is the cause for failure this time?" A different junior Geneticist who wished to learn more asked with a puzzled expression while taking notes.

The middle-aged Geneticist paused for a bit and then asked the juniors. "What are the requirements for a successful evolution?"

"The requirements for any successful transition are based on several factors. But the three main factors are the serum, the Physique body and the quality of the nuclear energy, Sir. " A smart female junior putting on a glasses immediately replied.

"That's correct. Then from the information the Evo-Scye is giving, what do you think is the problem with this student."

The juniors pondered in thought when another white-robed junior suddenly said. "This recruit has a 3-star nuclear pulse and from the value 1.2, his physique is above an average level nine without measure which which means the quality of his nuclear energy could be lacking. But judging from the 1.1 value shown, the toxicity of radiation within his body is higher than that of a regular level nine. There shouldn't be a single problem with his evolution. Maybe he lacked the will sir?"

"What is Will? Will is only the ability to forcefully release dopamine into your veins to push the body's sustainability. Will has nothing to do with it." The Geneticist immediately frowned. As a scientist, they should only believe in things they could see. By believing in Will is the same as believing in things that cannot be seen, like a god which is in total contrast to what a scientist stands for.

The junior immediately bowed his head in embarrassment.

Clicking on the information of the recruits status. "He's lacking nuclear energy."

"What!? Sir, I don't think that's possible." A junior muttered in disbelief.

"The value of the physique should be lower or equal to the value of the toxic radiation. But see the 0.1 decrease in the toxicity level, it means that the quality of his nuclear energy might be high, his body doesn't have nuclear energy to assist his body with the evolution."

"Sir, could it be that he used m his nuclear energy during the entrance examination, leaving him empty?" The female student with glass asked in a puzzled tone.

Geneticist Park-jeun enlarged the image before him and a rapidly changing DNA strand appeared on the screen. "That's not possible, no matter how much atomic energy used during attacks, 30 percent will still be left. An enhanced blood, tissue, muscles and bones will always contain nuclear energy that cannot be used."

"The main reason one must become enhances before going through the transition process is because the body must fuse with a specific amount of radiation, one that could be very fatal to an ordinary human. Which is why we have those training techniques. To help fuse the nuclear energy with the body cells, so they become a whole, easing and increasing the evolution process of the body. Otherwise any regular person would have been able to transform."

"This recruit is lacking more than 95 percent of nuclear energy for some reason."

"Which meant without nuclear energy to help reinforce his genes and cells, his genes and bodily cells will be put under an enormous strain, increasing the pain and difficulty by a few dozen times.

The pain will undoubtedly surpass the genetic strain and reach the genetic limit point, eventually leading to the collapse of the entire DNA map, transforming him into a mutated... pool of blood."

The juniors shivered in slight fear. They couldn't imagine having to witness scene "G-geneticist Park Jeun, surely there is something we can do right? "

"Sadly, no. There's nothing we can do at this point. The transition has begun, we can only wish he dies sooner rather than experience the pain of being torn apart by the transition for much longer. Trust me, you don't want to know how he's feeling now. I suppose a hundred percent success rate is too much to ask." The Geneticist shook his head in pity. He had hoped he would be able to evolve the entire recruits this time without a single casualty, but it appeared he was asking for too much.

"What if he survives?"

"There's no chance for a margin of error as a Geneticist. It's not a matter of him surviving but how long he can withstand the pain. Eventually when he gets overloaded by the pain, he will give in and see that there is no hope."

Erian had lost all senses of time and space. All he could see, hear, taste and feel was pain. One that tore through his body, right into his soul. His jaws arched from screaming and his lungs ruptured from the force, but that didn't seem to be of help.

Erian's body was shaking vigorously even when strapped by the machine, sounds of fluid splashing echoed from his body, as though someone had placed a high voltage cable in him.

He had already lost most of his consciousness, but the final bit of consciousness that survived was telling him, "I can't die uselessly like this, not again!"

The serum wrecked havoc within his body, turning his entire skin red. Suddenly, the intensity of Erian's muscles spammed as he vibrated like a maniac. The procedure had reached it peak and this moment will decide if Erian could actually survive this.

'',

An explosive guttural roar escapes Erian's lips as the vein near his heart glowed a luminescence light. Even the sound barrier placed arroun him couldn't without his shout.

When suddenly, everything went quiet, giving the illusion that the entire process had been nothing but a dream. It was quiet and there was a strange peace within the atmosphere.

The entire world turned crimson and Erian felt... Chaos. He was floating in the red world and within the red world, he could see hundreds of overlapping rays of frequencies, moving in particles. But there was this three particular particles arrogantly fluctuating in mid-air. Before he could make any sense of it, Erian's vision turned dark. It was unknown if he failed or was successful.
