[You’re So Oblivious!!!!!!!!! Yuri-chan!!!!!!!]

“—Where’re ya, assassins!! Get your asses out here and fight me, oraaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!”

Three days since I started the assassin hunt!

Riding ‘Wolf King’, my familiar, I was roaming the BSO world in search of prey!

After leaving a nameless valley, we dove straight into a nameless black forest–!

“Hey, Urutaro, where are we going?! Where the hell is this?!”

“Awoo! Awoo, grrr!”

“That so? Thanks for answering!!!”

I didn’t understand a word he said! I mean, I didn’t speak wolf!!!

But it was okay. All we had to do was kill any assassin player in sight, that was it!

As long as he got that, I didn’t mind him taking me wherever!!!

“Everyone must be doing their best to hunt assassin players, too. I know, I’ll see how they’re doing!”

I pulled up the menu window and then pressed the ‘Watch Public Battle’ in the corner.

Then, a number of other windows popped up. In them, displayed players fighting in various different places.

Man, talk about a convenient feature~.

“Oh~ look at them go~… hmm? Hold on a sec, the forest where these two are fighting, it looks very familiar…”

Wait, it was this black forest?! They gotta be nearby!!!

“Alright, we’re gonna join them, Urutaro! Head to wherever you feel there’s a battle taking place!”

“Awoo, awoooooo!”

The moment I gave the order, Urutaro instantly changed direction and sprinted as fast as he could.

It was as if he knew the exact location of the battle. Not long later, I began to hear the sound of steel clashing against steel (I’d given the order without much thought, but who knew he’d actually know where it was!).

“Full speed, Urutaro! We’re gonna kill that assassin! Wahahahahaha!”

And so, I rushed headlong into battle–!

Ten seconds later.

“Die, assassin, oraaaaaaaaaa!”

“Kyaaa, stop, friendly fire?! I’m a BSO player! If you’re looking for the assassin, he’s over there, dead!”

“Huh, for real?”

I found a dude where Urutaro took me. He was good-looking but he sported long pink hair and a pair of glasses that rich old lady would usually wear. He looked so suspicious that I attacked him with a dropkick without a moment’s hesitation, but then he started screaming like that.

Oh, thinking back, I always received [Yuri encountered X!] messages whenever I met assassins. Given it didn’t appear this time, it was safe to assume what he said was true. Man, now I felt bad.

“Sorry ‘bout that! I was too preoccupied with killing the assassins I forgot to make sure who you were.”

“W-what’s up with this girl? She uttered terrifying words with such an innocent face…”

The good-looking pink-haired dude made a slightly put-off face.

I grabbed his long, thin arm to help him up and then dust him off. I’m really sorry~.

“I’m sorry, I mean it. Oh, the name’s…”

“I know, Yuri-chan, aka the Thuggish Demon King, right? Height: 165cm, Weight: Around 50kg, judging from that dropkick. Just a few days ago acquired the ‘Battle Maker’ job, can now use swords, spears, shields, scythes, and paper talismans, and is currently hunting assassins from other games—did I get everything correct?”

“W-wha… h-how did you…?!”

W-who the hell was this pink dude?!

Swords, spears, and shields aside, I’d only been using scythes and paper talismans for three days. Sure, my battles against the assassins had been broadcast live, but still…

No way, don’t tell me…

“A-are you… a stalker?”

“Hell no!”

The pink dude snapped. He then pulled out a business card from his breast pocket.

It said ‘Serpent of Wisdom’…

“Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Pinko. I’m the guild master of the informant guild ‘Serpent of Wisdom’. From BSO’s latest news to mysteries hidden in its world, our guild gathers everything!”

With that, Pinko gave me a wink.

…Why do I always meet with weirdos? So I thought this late in the game.
