I was guessing the devs might have planned for the players to progress this way: Become an apprentice to a master NPC→Take their delivery quest→Go on an adventure to get the requested item. This way, players would travel to more places if they were going to learn more arts and grow stronger.

I had skipped all that, though.

I mean, I couldn’t use combat art at the start. But thankfully, I had collected mountains of items now, so all I had to do was turn them in.

Just by looking around, I could see hundreds of players wearing simple clothes and holding wooden starting weapons.
