[Don’t Play with Otakus’ Hearts, Yuri-chan]

“Heya, I’m Yuri, a rookie weapon craftsman. Please take care of me today~!”

“““Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh?!”””

Several tens of minutes later. I went to a Craft Maker workshop in the ‘Beginning Town’.

The place was very spacious and it had tools that could be borrowed freely. Many rookie craftsmen who didn’t have their own workshops apparently gathered here. “Let’s all get along and improve together! Senior Craft Makers, please give advice to the rookies!” was written on the sign.

But everyone was just whispering to each other while keeping their distance from me.

“W-w-w-w-what is she doing here…?!”

“To make fun of us, perhaps…?”

“She’s too beautiful for an impostor…!”

“H-her equipment is so lewd…!”

Maybe because they were panicking? Their voices were a little loud, I could practically hear all that they said. I mean, why did all of them wear glasses and why were they squirming?

One of them timidly came up to me and asked, “E-excuse me! You said your name is Yuri, but are you perhaps the Yuri who won the battle royale…?! The legendary Yuri who was banned for being too violent…!”

“Yup, that’s me. I got Craft Maker as my second job, so I came here to learn the basics.”

“Eeeeeeeeeeeh?! W-why would you choose a job that can’t fight like Craft Maker?! Besides, I heard you have a workshop in your city, why wouldn’t you go there…?”

“Oh, well, there’re some circumstances…”

It was a while ago. When I was planning to ask for guidance from craftsman NPCs about making equipment in one corner of the workshop in Helheim.

In the workshop, Grimm was half-crying while making equipment and directing dozens of craftsman NPCs at the same time.

When I asked what was going on…

[Sob… Concerning the next event points’ distribution, most people on the bulletin board are of the opinion that Craft Makers should be given fewer points!

[To hell with them! I’ll kill them all with my equipment!!!]

…so she said.

While giving orders to the craftsman NPCs that supported her, Grimm went around several workbenches, making weapons and armor at the same time. Apparently, she intended to finish all the equipment for the more than 700 combat NPCs no matter what. Sweat, heat, and a ghastly aura emanated from her small body.

Seeing that, I couldn’t possibly get in the way. For someone with a production job like her, the workshop was her battlefield.

So, I figured I should learn the rope the way every other rookie did.

Even if I ended up making an explosive failed product, once I got the basics down, I should be able to figure out how to make an even greater ‘failed product’. Besides, I also wanted to make various other things that didn’t explode.

Since there just happened to be a simple scarecrow for weapon testing in the workshop’s courtyard, I’d test their powers on it.

“Anyway, I don’t wanna disturb you, so please don’t be concerned about me and go on with your work… ah, but if there’s something I don’t get, can I ask you to teach me? Uhm, it’s my first time, so…”

“Fuaa?! I-I understand! I-i-if you’re fine with me, please let me take care of you on your ‘first time’—!”

When I asked a little embarrassedly, the senior Craft Maker nodded enthusiastically.

The other craftsmen players who had been only looking at me from afar instantly also ran over as they shouted with even more enthusiasm: “No, no, I’ll teach you!”, “I’m a technician!”, “I’ll guide you step by step!”

Oh~, Craft Makers are all good people!

I thanked them and smiled brightly at them.
