Chapter 544 Satyr Demon, Part 2

Name:Biohuman Author:Reiverus
The old Satyr rushed for Lee Seng. In his eyes, the boy wouldn't last another hit. He lowered his horns like always.

'The boy won't last another hit. Let's end this.' The old Satyr told himself. Lee Seng sheathed the katana and released it. He put his hand up as his form shifted. He would create another wall and the old Satyr smiled. 'That won't work!' To the old Satyr's surprise, it wasn't a wall. He flew through it as Lee Seng reflexively grabbed the Satyr's horn, pushing his head upwards.

'W-what is this strength?!?' The old Satyr asked. The old Satyr's footing was starting to slip. He stomped his hoof on the ground, pushing against the strength of the young boy in front of him.

"It's futile." Lee Seng told the old Satyr. "It'll be over before you know it." Lee Seng's arm muscles expanded, pushing the old Satyr into the air. Lee Seng jolted forward, easily catching up as the old Satyr flipped himself to land on his hooves. Lee Seng's sheathed katana appeared in his hands, pulling the weapon out. "Devouring Slash and Dash!"

The old Satyr watched as the young boy completely disappeared in front of him. His natural battle instincts kicked in, turning to look behind him as Lee Seng appeared. The sword flew straight through his body and a smile appeared on his face.

p "Like I said, you can't kill me. I only let you hit me if I— Argh!" The old Satyr looked down, noticing the flames and strange fluttery energy on him. "What is—" Lee Seng slashed another time, putting more flames and fluttery energy onto him. The Satyr cried in pain as he jumped backwards. The golden wisps fluttered across Lee Seng's blade, fluttering around him as he raised the blade.

"I thought so." Lee Seng nodded, twirling the blade. "You manipulate your spiritual's physicality and can turn it on or off, letting things pass you with ease. That's why my physical attacks won't work on you, but there's something you and I didn't account for… Spiritual attacks."

"Y-you're telling me you didn't know?" The old Satyr grunted.

"Nope. I just wanted to see if I could take some energy from you." Lee Seng smiled. He pointed his right hand at the old Satyr. "And I guess I can." He yanked his hand towards him and watched as the wisps pulled away from the old Satyr, sapping him of his energy. The old Satyr screamed in pain, stumbling onto his knees as the golden wisps flew into Lee Seng.

"Ah." Lee Seng sighed in relief. He could feel his energy levels growing back to full. "Now that we know that…" Lee Seng dashed from his spot and swung the sword straight down for the Satyr. The old Satyr managed to dodge out of the way as the blade slammed on the ground. Lee Seng swung it horizontally to his left as the Satyr merged through the wall.

Lee Seng pulled the sword back to his side, quickly stabbing his scabbard into the wall and exploding it. Debris flew everywhere as the old Satyr was sprinting through another wall. Lee Seng followed after, destroying the walls as the old Satyr made a beeline for the stairs.

'Someone who can spiritually attack my body?!?' The old Satyr thought as fear ran through his body. 'I shouldn't have been so cocky!'

"Argh!" A wall exploded with bones flying straight for the old Satyr. The turned into the bones and phased through them with ease. David watched as the old Satyr sprinted straight for him, swinging at David.

"Move!" The old Satyr shouted. Lee Seng slid to a stop, dashing back out and into the hallway. David swung at the Satyr, forcing him to focus on him. "I don't have time for this!"

"Hold him!" Lee Seng shouted. The Satyr's eyes grew wider as he began to wildly swing his arms at David. David dodged, gritting his teeth has his wounds forced him to back out into the hall.

"You're asking for a death wish!" The Satyr shouted. He pointed his horns down and rushed at David. Lee Seng slid through the hallway, sword glinting as his energy began to condensed. Lee Seng disappeared form his spot, instantly appearing and swinging at the back of the Satyr. A flurry of attacks flew across the Satyr's back as David's arm sword merged into a large hammer end.

"DIE!" David screamed, slamming the hammer straight onto the Satyr's pitch black horns. The Satyr flew straight into the ground, cracking everything around him as blood gushed out of David's body. Lee Seng twirled the blade, pointing it down as wisps covered the katana.

"Devour." Lee Seng plunged the blade into the Satyr's back as screams erupted. David stumbled onto the ground as he watched golden wisps tear the Satyr-demon into pieces. Lee Seng pulled the sword out and watched as the form of the old man shifted between Satyr and old man.

"Nooo!" The old man's distorted voice shouted as he turned into ashes.

"Argh." David grunted, clutching his stomach. Lee Seng looked as David profusely bled. He wandered over as wisps fluttered around him. "W-what's with all those things?" Lee Seng knelt next to him and hovered his hand over David's wound.

"You need to get healed before you die." Lee Seng looked at the wound. He started to grab David's hand and remove it, but David's hand slapped Lee Seng away.

"Don't worry about me… I'm fine. This is nothing."

"You're a liar. Just let me heal you."

"No!" David shouted. Lee Seng sighed. A fist flew straight for David's face, knocking it back onto the floor. Lee Seng ripped David's hand away and pressed on the wound hard enough for David to scream.

"See?" Lee Seng glanced at David. The wisps started to move onto David and a warmth David had felt before, ignited. David squirmed as Lee Seng healed him. "Hold still. It's gonna hurt." He pulled one of the horns out as David screamed loudly. Without another indication, Lee Seng pulled David's other hand away and pulled the other horn out. David's screams filled the hall as Lee Seng's healing finally could start.

"Hold still." Lee Seng told David. David squirmed as Lee Seng had to move his leg over David's leg and switch his healing hand to hold David's upper body down. "It'll be over soon."

"Mmmm!" David grunted. Lee Seng sighed. The wounds had taken some time to heal for himself (through his natural healing), but the progress on David wasn't healing.

'Why isn't it healing?' Lee Seng asked himself. 'I took out the horns, so why isn't it healing?'

"Ahhhh!" David's body began to convulse. Bone began to seep out. His Sin form was forming as Lee Seng was trying to heal him. "Ahhh!" A sudden blast of energy sent Lee Seng flying down the hall.

"What the hell?" Lee Seng mumbled as he pushed himself off the ground. He looked up and noticed David was trying to stand as blood poured out of his stomach. "H-hey! Don't move! You'll make it worst!" David didn't listen to him. The bone armor continued to grow across his face. It was encasing his whole entire body in it.

A low grudge-like noise came out of David's mouth as smoke billowed out of his mouth. Lee Seng watched as his neck suddenly snapped upwards, quickly flashing some sort of red light from his eyes. David entered a bone cocoon and everything suddenly ended. Lee Seng slowly lifted his upper body up.

'What was that?' Lee Seng asked. 'He didn't heal at all like last time. Does the horn have something we don't know about?' His eyes naturally scanned for the horns. He stood up and turned around and landed on some horns. He walked over and snatched one and lifted it to his nose. He took a good whiff.

'Nothing.' Lee Seng pulled the horn away from him. He studied it and it did look like a horn. 'It's bone back here and has qualities of bone-like structure up here, but it's sharp as steel.' Lee Seng turned around and faced the bone cocoon.

"So what's happening with you, then?" Lee Seng whispered. He could feel the exhaustion catching up to him. He let out a yawn, covering it instinctively. "We need to get out of here but you've gone into… Whatever you've gone into. I guess I'll just have to wait." Lee Seng sat down and set the Satyr-demon's horn next to him. He settled in and folded his arms together.

His watch naturally flashed, showing no messages or alerts. The debris settled in as the building groaned. He took one last look at the bone cocoon before his eyes drooped.

'I'll wake up if I hear anything…' Lee Seng shoved the responsible thoughts aside. His eyes closed and sleep quickly came to him. Silence filled the space as Lee Seng fell into a deep sleep.
