Chapter 112 - Grandma's Hairpin?

The people in the shop sighed and shook their heads after Ye Qian and family walked out.

"The man is really a doting father and loving husband. But he is really too good for the world."

A woman who was with her daughter and husband sighed.

The man also nodded and looked at his daughter, his eyes filled with love.

"Come let's go have some of your favourite ice creams after this."

He said while caressing her cheeks.

"Yes, dad."

The girl smiled and nodded energetically.

"Hmm."

The lady also nodded with a smile.

On the second floor of the mall, Yuan Meng stood in front of a shop while staring at it.

While Ning Wei also glanced at what was Yuan Meng looking at but she didn't found anything that was noticeable, it was a large jewellery showroom.

'Huh, why would she stop here and stare at the wall full of antique pieces of jewellery?'

Ning Wei thought while she put Little Jia down and studied if there was something else she didn't see, would pique Yuan Meng's interest.

She had known Yuan Meng for years now and she knew quite well that there was rarely any jewellery she wore except for an old watch.

"Mengmeng did you like something here?"

Ye Qian walked to them and asked seeing Yuan Meng staring at the shop's display of various pieces of jewellery.

Ye Qian turned to the glass wall and saw many fine pieces of jewellery but something attracted his attention more than that of the other jewellery.

It was a sapphire hair ornament placed in a red silk cloth that was in an exquisite blackwood box.

And what was astounding was, it was placed on a separate table which was wrapped in delicate loth in a fashionable manner.

It seemed that the Hair Ornament was very valuable and had great importance in the shop.

But that was not what made him astonished though.

He turned to Yuan Meng and saw that tears were rolling down her cheeks as she stared at the hairpin.

He sighed and placed at bags down while going near her and patted her shoulder.

"Mengmeng."

She turned to him with her eyes completely red.

He caressed her cheeks while rubbing her tears with his thumb.

"You don't need to worry I know you really cared for that."

Hearing his words her tears started to fall even more.

Ye Qian sighed and looked at the hairpin.

"How about we get it back?"

"Hmm."

Yuan Meng held her tears and nodded.

Meanwhile, Ning Wei also saw the hairpin and felt that it was really nice and was crafted with the best artists but she didn't quite understand why would Yuan Meng cry for it.

Meanwhile, Little Qiqi pulled the hem of Ye Qian's shirt and asked.

"Papa, why is Mumma crying?"

She was looking at the various pieces of jewellery which were showcased on the glass wall and thought that her Mumma wanted to buy some for her.

But she saw her Mumma crying while staring at the yellow hairpin which looked really beautiful.

She wanted to ask but didn't after seeing her cry.

When she saw her Papa coming to them and her Mumma stopped crying she finally asked.

"Butterfly, did you see that pin on the table?"

Ye Qian smiled and pointed at the properly locked glass case which was around the wood box and asked Little Qiqi.

"Yes, Papa that pin is really beautiful."

Little Qiqi saw and exclaimed.

Ning Wei and Little Jia also saw and nodded.

"That pin was given to your Mumma by her mother."

Ye Qian pinched her nose and smiled while pointing at the Sapphire laid Hairpin which was carefully placed in the glass box.

"Ohh, so it was Qiqi's grandma's pin so beautiful!

Little Qiqi nodded while seeing the hairpin again.

Meanwhile, Ning Wei understood why Yuan Meng was crying.

'It must have been lost or something and she was crying because it was given to her by her mother.'

Ning Wei sighed and glanced at the hairpin.

'That seems really expensive, but I have never seen Sister Meng talking about her family.'

She glanced at Yuan Meng and thought.

Ye Qian then took the bags he placed and nodded at the ladies.

"Mengmeng let's ask about it, I will get it back for you."

Ye Qian smiled and walked into the shop.

"Hmm."

Yuan Meng wipe her tears and nodded while taking Little Qiqi's hand and walked inside.

Ning Wei also followed while holding Little Jia's hand.

At the entrance, two guards stood straight ramrod.

They saw Ye Qian walking near and nodded while one of them opened the door.

"Welcome, sir."

Ye Qian smiled and thanked them while Yuan Meng and Ning Wei followed behind him with Little Qiqi and Little Jia.

After they went in the guards closed the entrance and stood with full attention like previously.

Meanwhile, Little Jia and Little Qiqi had their eyes shining seeing so much jewellery.

Though they could only see a little part of the shop from outside.

After they were in they saw that the place was rather big.

The whole shop was covered in various lights and many people surrounded the tabled and each table had an attendee helping them with the jewellery and packing.

"This showroom is really big it must be about 300 square meters."

Ning Wei mumbled looking around the place with her shining eyes.

Of course, she was also interested in jewellery.

As the saying goes no woman would ever turn around when they meet with ornaments and clothes.

Seeing the various designs Ning Wei was ecstatic but she was more shocked with their prices.

The three continued to glance around, while an attendee walked to them with a bright smile.

"Hello sir, madam."

The lady had thick makeup on her face and it really was reflective with all the lights in the showroom.
