Chapter 98 - Pitiful Ning Wei!

In one of the biggest malls in Star City, a small dome of about a 2-metre radius was shining brightly.

If somewhere were to see it from afar they would think of it as a small star as it was bright enough to give light to almost one-fourth of the whole Star City.

There were still many people in the mall, but they seemed to have frozen.

Many thin strands of Silver White Light strands were coming out of the dome and entered the heads of the people through the centre of their eyebrows.

In any person the light strand passed, that person would shiver a little and then his or her eyes would close as if they were in deep sleep.

Since the mall was locked there was no one who entered in.

Within the Silver Dome, Ye Qian was making various hand signs which were the reason for the formation of those strands of silver.

Meanwhile, the ladies were sitting behind him on the couch with their faces full of confusion and delight.

Yu Lan's eyes were shining as she studied the dome and the different patterns on the ground.

'Did, Big Brother Qian become a magician like those known in the myths?'

Yu Lan thought seeing the dome around them, she was about to touch the Silver Light with her hands and feel what it was like since it gave such a shooting feeling just by looking at it.

She was just a few centimetres away when she heard someone.

"Huh, why is his ear red and swollen?"

Yu Lan turned around to see that it was Ning Wei, as she asked in confusion while pointing at Ye Qian's right ear which was still red and looked a little swollen.

"Pfft."

Yu Lan burst out laughing, as she saw what Ning Wei was pointing at and at her worrisome expression which had some happiness as well.

"En?"

Ning Wei tiled her head and turned to Yuan Meng.

She was worried that while Ye Qian brought the girls back and they were still unconscious the people who kidnapped them must have some weapons with them and so Ye Qian might have been injured as well.

"Umm."

Yuan Meng's face turned a bit red, how can she tell her sister Wei that she pulled Ye Qian's ear and twisted it a few times.

"Is he fine, he seemed to have injured as well?"

Ning Wei's worry increased having no response from Yuan Meng.

"No, no Sister Wei it's just that Sister Meng pulled Big Brother's ear for teasing her."

Yu Lan said while consoling her not to worry.

"Hmm."

Ning Wei turned to Yuan Meng and pursed her lips.

'Is this how you treat him?'

That was what she meant to say with her expression.

Yuan Meng looked down to embarrassed to say anything.

Ning Wei sighed and placed Little Jia on the couch and stood up.

Though she felt bitter for not having been able to have some since relation with him she can for sure care for him.

She then took a tiny ointment tube from her handbag and carefully rubbed it on Ye Qian's ear.

"Huh?"

Ye Qian felt a cooling sensation as he was making hand signs so he opened his eyes and looked to see Ning Wei was applying some ointment on his swollen ear.

He didn't know why but he felt warm in his heart.

"I am just applying little medicine; you can continue to do your work."

Though Ning Wei's voice was stern her face was flushing all over and she didn't dare to look at him in the eyes.

Her heat started to beat at a fast pace seeing him smile at her and nod.

She quickly applied the remaining thing and went back to the couch while taking Little Jia on her lap.

Yu Lan's eyes were studying Ning Wei all the time since she stood up and what she did.

'This Sister Wei seems to like Big Brother Qian, and he is not against it as well!'

Yu Lan thought and felt sour in her heart.

Her eyes turned moist but she wiped them before anyone could see them.

"Big Brother how much time now I am feeling hungry."

With a tender smile on her lips, Yu Lan exclaimed while forcing the bitter feeling in the corner of her heart.

"Huh, just a few seconds then we will be going to eat something, you also must be feeling a bit hungry by now?"

Ye Qian smiled at her and glanced at Yuan Meng and Ning Wei.

After a few seconds, Ye Qian waved his hands from the dome to the two little girls who were sleeping soundly on their mother's lap and closed his eyes.

The dome turned into tiny light particles and surrounded the five while covering them with a different blue coloured light.

"Huh, what are you doing Big Brother?"

Yu Lan exclaimed in worry as she felt that Ye Qian would erase her memories as well.

"Don't get tensed, this will help you to get your body strong."

While she felt a little wronged she thought.

'Since Big Brother wants me to forget, it must be for my wellness.'

But then Ye Qian's voice entered her ears and she calmed.

"Hmm."

Ning Wei was also feeling tiresome but she also nodded to his reason and sat calmly.

A few seconds later the three women opened their eyes and had a light blue glow in their eyes.

But it was very tiny just like a thread of nerve in the eye and as soon as they opened their eyes the blue light flashed like lighting and then went off after entering their iris.

"So how do you feel now?"

Ye Qian asked after they opened their eyes and looked around.

"Umm, I feel a cool sensation in my body and a different energy, Big Brother!"

Yu Lan exclaimed as she saw studied her body and bought her hands on her face.

Her eyes widened in shock and ecstasy.

Ning Wie continued.

"It feels much more good to me, thanks."

She said with a dazzling smile.

Ye Qian was agape seeing her smile in this way.

"Qian'er, when will the girls wake up?"

Yuan Meng asked with worry though she was also feeling rejuvenated she was not having any happiness for that but she was more worried about the girls.

Since she had got far more good things on the day Ye Qian came back this didn't have much of an effect on her.

Ye Qian waved his hands on the girl's heads and smiled.

"Here they will wake in a few seconds now."

Ye Qian had just finished when the eyelashes of Little Qiqi and Little Jia started trembling.

"Papa, Mumma."

"Papa, Mom."

They called out right after opening their eyes.

"We are here Butterfly and Jia, now how do you feel?"

Ye Qian took their hands and pressed lightly making them know that they were near them.

Tears welled in their mother eyes seeing them wake up.

"Mumma, why are you crying, don't cry?"

Little Qiqi woke up and brought her tiny palms on Yuan Meng's cheeks and rubbed the tears off.

"Hmm."

Little Jia did the same while she also felt sad and started to tear up seeing Ning Wei crying.

"Hmm."

Ning Wei bit her lips and stopped herself from shedding any more tears.

Though she showed herself strong and independent she was the only one who needed the most love of all the ones present here.

She would always love Little Jia but there was no one to love her or console her while she cried alone during the lonely nights with the worries and the guilt she had for Little Jia.

Ye Qian patted her shoulder and consoled her a little, he couldn't say anything to her, though he felt the various emotions of the people around due to his Cultivation Art, there was no way he could help them, at most he can make them feel less sorrowful, but it was never possible for him to make them forget it.

Ye Qian felt pity for her and sighed.

Yuan Meng also tried to console her.

"See now Jia is crying, is this what you want?"

Ye Qian's voice was stern as he patted Little Jia's head and looked at Ning Wei with worry.

Ning Wei shook her head and wiped her tears off."

"If you have any problem you can come to us, don't try to keep it within."

Ye Qian took Ning Wei's face in his hand and wiped her tears with his thumb.

Ninh Wie nodded while sniffing and stopped while a simple smile appeared on her face.

"That's it."

Ye Qian cheered her up and glanced at the girls.

"Ok, so now who is that want to have a small lunch now."

"Me, me, me."

The little girls were full of energy and jumped in their mothers embrace as they raised their hands.

"Hmm, now what should we eat?"
