Chapter 69 - Who Dares To Call My Daughter Fat!

As Ye Qian entered the kitchen he saw Ning Wei and Jiao sitting and talking to each other and smiled.

He quickly fried some of the eggrolls which they made yesterday.

He was walking to the fridge to pick some fruits when he heard Ning Wei.

"Can I help with something; I don't feel like I must sit here while you work."

Ning Wie's smile was charming, and Ye Qian was left in a daze at her.

"Hey, should I cut some strawberries and bananas?"

Ning Wei's cheeks were red as Ye Qian stared at her in a daze.

"Huh sure, why not, they will be coming in soon."

Saying that Ye Qian passed some strawberries, bananas and apples to her.

Ning Wei didn't look at him and took the plate quickly and went to Jiao and started cutting the fruits.

"What happened Sister Wei why are you blushing all over?"

Jiao sniggered while poking her elbow.

"Shussh."

"What idiotic things are you thinking now girl?"

Ning Wei pointed the small knife and glared at her.

"Ohh, I thought Ye Qian gazing at you for a few moments so I asked?"

Jiao smiled mischievously and whispered as she raised her eyebrows.

"Huh, it's nothing!"

Ning Wei stammered as her face turned red.

She didn't know why but she liked it as Ye Qian stared at her, but that didn't mean anything else.

"Huh are you sure, I saw he was dazed as he looked at you?"

Jiao tilted her head and asked.

"You... girl don't poke your nose, and try to find someone to marry or you will get old just like this."

Ning Wei glare at her and turned back to chopping the fruits.

"Huh."

Jiao raised her brows in confusion.

'Is she really the same Ning Wei, why is she behaving like this, cult it be?'

Jiao pondered for a while and glanced at Ye Qian who was busy preparing breakfast.

'No there is no way Sister Wie will think like this. Something is wrong with my head now.'

Meanwhile, Ye Qian was getting his sweet congee ready as he poured the rice, dates, almonds and raisins into the pot with some milk.

About two minutes later Little Qiqi and Little Jia ran into the kitchen while sniffing with their noses, followed by Yuan Meng who was wearing a casual dress.

"Papa, what are you making today, it smells so sweet."

Little Qiqi walked to Ye Qian and pulled his apron while asking.

Ye Qian smiled at her.

"Papa is making some Sweet Congee for my sweet little girls."

"Hehe, Papa, you are so lovely."

"Good Morning Papa."

Little Qiqi giggled while Little Jia greeted him.

Ye Qian patted her head and smiled.

"Now go Papa will bring it to you really soon."

"Hmm."

They both nodded and walked to Jiao and Ning Wie.

"Good Morning Aunt Wie, and big sister Jiao."

Little Qiqi beamed and greeted them.

Jiao smiled and pinched her nose while Ning Wei nodded with a smile.

"Good Morning Mom, and big sister."

Little Jia smiled and said as she sat on the chair.

They both nodded to her when Yuan Meng sat beside them.

"So you are in a hurry?"

Jiao smiled at her while Ning Wie nodded.

"We should go, it's not good to stay so long."

Ning Wei continued as she finished chopping the fruits.

"Hmm."

Yuan Meng nodded, she understood what Ning Wei was thinking about.

Now that Ye Qian was here it seemed to be inappropriate to live for too long or they might have stayed till Monday and left together.

Little Jia's face fell as she heard her, she didn't want to leave she was happy after so long time but now it was going to be taken for her again. She really felt good when Ye Qian cared for her and loved her just like Little Qiqi. For her, Ye Qian never treated her or cared for her a bit less than Little Qiqi rather he even loved her from the time she called him PAPA.

She didn't know if her father was still there he might have loved her, like Ye Qian but she was not seeing Ye Qian as her true after, and she didn't want to lose him now.

Thinking of so much with her little heart and thoughts, tears welled up in her eyes, as she started holding them back.

"Sniff... sniff."

Ning Wie felt her heart tighten as she saw Little Jia was about to tear up.

"Sister Wie."

Yuan Meng patted Little Jia's head and turned to Ning Wie waved her hand hinted her to stop.

Ning Wei smiled helplessly.

"I was, talking that, Qian'er seemed to be taking the girls and me out today."

Yuan Meng continued to pat Little Jia's head and rubbed her tears.

"Ok. It's fine if Jia is happy, I was also thinking the same."

Ning Wei sighed and caressed Little Jia with a tender smile.

"Now don't cry, Ok."

"Hmm."

Little Jia nodded.

"Big Sister, we will have a lot of fun today, you will like it all."

Little Qiqi came by her side and exclaimed.

"Hmm."

A smile appeared on Little Jia's thin lips as she heard her.

"Thud" 

With a thud, Ye Qian placed a pot of Congee on the table.

"Huh, what happened why is my Little Jia crying again now."

Ye Qian neared her and rubbed her cheeks.

"Nothing Papa, Jia is happy now."

Little Jia felt warm and contended.

"Ok if you say so." 

Saying that he pinched her nose and asked.

"So would you like to have a strawberry congee or banana congee or some apple congee?"

Ye Qian then took a bowl and put some congee in it.

"Anything is fine as long as Papa feeds Jia."

Little Jia giggled.

"Ohh then have everything, so you can be healthy, see how skinny you are, Papa will make you gain some weight."

"Pfft."

Yuan Meng, Ning Wei, Jiao couldn't control themselves and started to laugh loudly.

"Papa, Jia doesn't want to be fat."

Little Jia had a small pout on her lips as she stated.

"Huh don't worry Papa won't make you fat, and I will see to, who will call my little daughter fat huh." 

Ye Qian furrowed her brows and blew a spoon full of congee and brought it near her mouth.

"Now eat it and tell Papa how it is?"

"Hmm."

Little Jia opened her mouth and started to chew.

"Hehe, Big Sister, don't worry, you called Qiqi fat now you will also be like Qiqi. Hehe."

Little Qiqi had a smile on her face which showed that she had gained a victory against an enemy.

"Huh."

Yuan Meng and Ning Wie glanced at each other and smiled.

"Come Butterfly, Papa will feed you too."

Ye Qian patted the chair next to him and called for Little Qiqi.

"Yes, Papa."

Little Qiqi sat on the chair.

"Aaaa."

Saying that she opened her tiny mouth wide and started to eat.

The ladies also started to have their breakfast, there were some eggrolls, milk, fruits, congee, some juice.

After having a hearty breakfast, they were filled and sat for a while talking with each other while Ye Qian played with the little girls and Yuan Meng and Ning Wie helped with the cleanings.

"Mom why don't you come too, you have no work right."

Little Jia suddenly asked while Ning Wei was done drying the bowls.

"Huh."

Ning Wie gave a feeble smile and shook her head.
