Chapter 57 - Can I Call You Papa?

In the living room, Ye Qian was sitting on the sofa as he patted Litte Jia's head.

Little Jia was feeling good in her body as Ye Qian patted her and smiled.

'Huh, how did Jia behave like that she is always shy with new people but she is so lively with Yuan Meng's husband?'

Ning Wei pondered and then thought.

Ye Qian said as she rubbed their hairs.

"Hehe, Papa Qiqi is hungry now."

Little Qiqi exclaimed as he patted their heads. 

"Ahhh! I completely forgot about that."

Yuan Meng rubbed her forehead and said apologetically. 

"Hehe, don't worry about that we won't leave without eating."

Jiao sniggered as her lips curved up.

"En what do you meant Jiao."

Ning Wei asked not knowing what she meant.

Jiao quickly forced a smile and laughed.

"Nothing nothing."

"Alright Mengmene let's go we need to place the dumplings in the steamer."

Saying that Ye Qian let go of the little girls and stood up and started to walk to the kitchen.

"Hmm."

Yuan meng nodded and followed his behind.

"Papa Qiqi will also come to help."

Little Qiqi exclaimed as she ran while still holding Little Jia's hand.

Little Jia also ran with her into the kitchen.

Now in the living room, there were only Ning Wei and Jiao.

"Sister Wei Little Jia was really happy now, I think you must think of something now."

Jiao nodded her head and thought of how Ye Qian treated Little Jia even though she was no one to him.

Meanwhile in the kitchen.

Ye Qian walked in followed by Yuan Meng and heard soft giggles and soft running sounds from behind.

He turned his head and saw Little Qiqi and Little Jia were also in the kitchen.

"Papa Qiqi will also help Papa and Mumma."

"Uncle, I also want to help." 

Little Jia said as soon as Little Qiqi asked.

Ye Qian didn't want to refuse the sweet little girls but also didn't want them to be hurt in the meantime.

He nodded his head and the little girls followed behind them.

Seeing the scene Yuan Meng shook her head and smiled.

"Qian'er how about we take the dumplings and steam them on the table and the other things are already warm so we don't need to make anything more."

Ye Qian's eyes brightened as she heard her and smiled.

"Butterfly and Little Jia help Papa to take the dumplings and plated and glasses to the dining room, Papa will take the soup and the fired rice with Mumma."

Little Qiqi was fine by his words but when Little Jia heard him she stood there in shock and asked.

"Uncle can Jia also call you Papa."

Hearing her Yuan Meng knew she had misunderstood Ye Qian but she didn't want to make her feel sad and glanced at Ye Qian as to what he was about to do about this.

Little Jia also stared at him with sinning eyes.

Ye Qian understood that she misunderstood him, but he felt it was fine if Little Jia called her Papa it was not like going to hurt him or something and besides he also felt that Little Jia was like Little Qiqi to him.

Ye Qian stood on his knees in front of the little girls and patted Little Jia's head and smiled gently.

"If you feel happy to call me Papa then sure you can call me, isn't Little Jia like my Little Butterfly to me."

Little Jia's body trembled as she smiled and hugged Ye Qian ad tears started to drip from her eyes.

Yuan Meng who was busy placing the cutlery and the plates and glasses from the cabinet smiled at them as she heard the conversation.

'Little Jia was the only thing I was worried about after Qiqi found Qian'er back, I thought she might feel even sad after seeing Qiqi and Qian'er and feel disheartened, but now everything is fine.'

Yuan Meng was happy for Little Jia as she had noticed that Little Qiqi and Little Jia were nice friends because they had the same things in their life, they only had their mothers with them, but she was worried about Little Jia after Ye Qian loved Little Qiqi, Little Jia would also feel left alone and she didn't want that to happen to her.

Little Jia was also like a daughter to her, she had been watching her for 3 years and knew that unlike Qiqi she didn't have any hope of seeing her father.

But she was also aware that there was less chance that Ye Qian would even be alive.
