Chapter 27 - First Customer

At the Ancient Relic Market, a young man was accompanying two women was talking to the women with contempt in his eyes as he looked around.

"Xiaowen, look around do you really think this kind of place can have a cure for your mother, you have already bought quite a lot of useless so-called magical stuff and relics, I think this is enough and you should stop here now."

The man looked at the bag the woman held in her hand like she was carrying a treasure.

"Xiaowen, I have already contacted a neurosurgeon at the best Neurology Hospital at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Why don't we bring your Mom to the United States for the treatment?"

The man persuaded her as she looked around while ignoring him as if she was searching for something.

The woman also seemed in her mid-twenties and was quite tall, she had an unusual charisma on her face but was cold and had an upper-class temperament.

In few words she was breath-taking.

Nonetheless, this breath-taking woman seemed cold and one could see that she looked troubled by the way her eyebrows were tensed and there was no natural glow on her face because of that.

After hearing the middle-aged man's words, the woman named Xiaowen furrowed her brows even more than they were before.

It was never the thing that she didn't want to bring her mother to hospitals but in these 2 years, she had brought her mother across many well-known and highly specialized hospitals across several countries and tens of hospitals. Nevertheless, there was no improvement in her mother's conditions ever so slight of them.

Though most of the hospitals were recommended by the person standing in front of her now.

"Wu Ping, I never asked for you to come with me or to accompany me. You came here all by yourself. Has my mom not been to sufficient hospitals now in these two years while being unconscious?"

"You were even the one who suggested 4 to 6 of them as well but to no avail. If you want you can leave I dont want you to be here as well."

The woman's tone appeared to be sharp and was unfriendly and she clearly didn't seem to have a good impression of the handsome man who was walking beside her.

The other women looked very combative, she only accompanied the woman called Xiaowen closely without uttering a word at all, and by the looks of it, she also seemed to be her bodyguard.

Though Ye Qian was a bit away from them having an immortal body was not just for show, he was able to hear everything clearly.

Ye Qian felt amused by the man called Wu Ping, as he actually managed to convey her such worthless knowledge and that too so many times.

Hey.... she said that her mother was unconscious for 2 years, and by the way, it looked to him, her mother was most likely in a vegetative state.

Ye Qian thought for few moments and realized hs charms could be able to help her by waking her mother up from the vegetative state and even help her body recover her energy and health.

Thinking about this he immediately called "Charms for sale! People who are unable to wake up and possessed by ghosts and having health problems, you will need only one of my charms to be able to cure all those effectively, while two will bring a complete recovery to anyone out there..."

Ye Qian said all this while considering.

His aim was to do some business with this cold beauty.

This woman could tour different countries, so she might definitely be able to part with some tens of thousands of Yuans.

When the anxious Xiaowen heard that there was someone calling out for charms that could cure the people in a vegetative state she instantly felt that she was listening to a Celestial Hyme.

Xiaowen didn't even look at the people around her as she ran, halting directly before Ye Qian's stall.

She breathed a few large mouthfuls of air as her chest started to move up and down.

She looked at Ye Qian and then at the stall where he had placed many palm-sized charms and inquired.

"Can I ask; can your charms really cure a person who has been in a vegetative state for a while?"

She asked as her voice was choking, and her whole body was shaking as she asked.

She was like a drowning rabbit who had trapped a small twig for support.

She seemed very agitated.

Ye Qian had a calm look on his face.

'Ah if this venerable's charms didn't work well won't the people of Higher and Lower Heaven just spit on me.' If his charms couldn't even cure a mortal, then might as well kill himself while drowning in a bowl of water.

But this was business and he needed money urgently, he did have some skills for doing business though.

He looked at the lady who was still breathing heavily and said in a calm voice.

"Of course, the charms we make are genuine and have real power in them, it can even cure people who have their limbs were broken, not to mention someone who is in a vegetative state for a while. The process of making is passed down from my ancestors from ages and I can guarantee...."

Ye Qian used some lie to convince her.

As Ye Qian was about to utter some more of his nonsensical bullsh*t the woman hindered him as she asked hopelessly "My mother has been unconscious for two years now and I want her to wake up. Which charm should I use for that?"

Xiaowen was really started to calm down after seeing him so calm and composed while saying as if such things were common to him.

Ye Qian nodded and acted like he was thinking. He nodded a few more times as if in deep thought.

He then made a speculative face and with intense seriousness, he reassured.

"This is some simple thing; you only need to buy a Spirit Purifying Charm. I have many here all are of the same power. It costs 50,000 Yuans and you cannot debate in that. And I can guarantee that will work."

"What the heck. Fck. How dare you deceive people right in broad daylight on the streets! I am informing the police now. How dare you?"

After hearing that the charm made from Yellow Paper was sold for 50,000 Yuans, the handsome man called Wu Ping was instantly infuriated, he pointed his finger at Ye Qian's nose and cursed him. As he brought hi shand to his pocket to fish his phone out.

Ye Qian also seemed to not like people pointing at him and was irritated.

Ye Qian slapped his wrist as he struck his acupoint on the wrist.

Soon Wu Ping's face seemed to lose its colour as he tried to use his and but was unable to.

He panicked and looked at his wrist that seemed alright but he was not able to move a finger.

He looked at Ye Qian and stammered.

"What did you do to my hand? Why can't I move my hand?"

"Nothing it will be fine after some time."

Ye Qian simply nodded as he looked at him'

He never liked people pointing fingers at him. It would always irritate him.

He had just blocked Wu Ping's acupoint which will ease itself after a few days.

If he wanted he could have used the method in which Wu Ping would be unable to use his hand in the future and the wrist bones would dislocate after some time giving immense pain and suffering.

Ye Qian's did everything in a swift motion.

People around them were not able to tell what he did, except for the combative lady following Xiaowen saw this.

A flicker of surprise flashed through her eyes, but she quickly covered with her usual calm expression.

After smacking Wu Ping's hand, Ye Qian spat coldly "It's not me who made you buy, just walk off, I want to do my business here so don't disturb me while I do business."

Seeing his cold expression, a chill went through Wu Ping's spine as sweat appeared on his forehead.

"How, how dare you threaten me..."

Wu Ping stuttered as he spoke but he was also furious as a person with no background was threatening him.

But before he could finish he was stopped by Xiaowen who stood beside him.

"Wu Ping, please go away, I don't need you to tag along behind us."

Xiaowen said coldly to Wu Ping as she turned to Ye Qian and said while apologizing.

"Sorry Master, this man is only following behind us, and don't portray any of my objectives."

Though she had not seen clearly what had happened to Wu Ping's hand she clearly had understood that Ye Qian was not a normal person as she had never seen anyone who would be able to disable anyone with just a tap of his finger.

Unknowing to her, Xiaowen began to trust that Ye Qian's charms might really cure her mother's conditions.
