Chapter 19 - Children Are Purest

Soon after Ye Qian walked while carrying Little Qiqi within his left hand and holding Yuan Meng's hands with his right.

Yuan Meng was walking with her head low as she was blushing all over and didn't have the courage to lift her head.

'Ah, what will the neighbour think seeing me holding his hand.' Yuan MEng thought as she walked.

Soon she stumbled upon a small rock and was about fall when Ye Qian brought his hand around her waist for her to have some support.

"Are you feeling unwell?" Ye Qian asked as he saw her face was red and her breathing was staggered.

"Umm no I am fine I was just thinking while walking." Yuan Meng said as she tried to stand properly.

Still, she looked around to see a few old couples smiling at her.

Yuan Meng felt the temperature in her cheeks rising and she again looked dong not daring to see around next time.

'Hehe, that little girl is so shy.' An old woman thought as she saw Yuan Meng trying to hide.

'They seem to be like a lovely couple.' Another lady thought as she brought her hands on her mouth as she smiled.

'Oh No now everybody is looking at me.' Yuan Meng thought as she started to panic.

"Mumma let's go or it will be late." Little Qiq said as she saw her mother still looking down.

"Mengmeng let's go." Ye Qian said as he took her hand.

"Hmm." Yuan Meng nodded as she finally let go of her fear.

Feeling the warmth of Ye Qian's hand she felt some relief and walked with him.

"Papa this is uncle Chen's house and that is Grandma Fu's"

While going Little Qiqi used to point at some houses and introduce the people whom she knew to Ye Qian.

About 15 minutes after walking they saw a small building with a garden and a park surrounding it, the building was not too big considering it was for small children but it was still three-storeyed and was quite modern.

Little Qiqi pointed the building and said to Ye Qian "Papa look that's my school."

She said with a bright smile as she pointed out the building to Ye Qian she wasn't to show him the school to which she went.

Ye Qian was shocked to see the building as the school looked very expensive while looking at the facilities it provided. He then turned around and looked at Yuan Meng and felt sad.

'She used to sleep without eating just so that she could pay Qiqi for the school fees.'

Yuan Meng seemed to have felt his thought and smiled while saying, "I wanted Qiqi to have a good school so there is nothing wrong in it."

Ye Qian held her hand tightly after hearing her. He didn't need to say further.

As Yuan Meng knew he felt bad for her.

Meanwhile, Ye Qian placed Little Qiqi on the ground.

Little Qiqi jumps after her feet touch the ground and she started to look around.

Ye Qian felt Little Qiqi's actions were cute and looked at what she was doing.

Yuan Meng also stood with him while holding his hand.

A few moments later few little girls come and surround Little Qiqi and hugged seeing her.

After hugging each other Little Qiqi called out everyone and said while getting close to Ye Qian and said "See little Ji this is my Papa."

Ye Qian gently watches as the girl was showing him off eagerly he felt warm inside.

Meanwhile, the girl called Little Ji looked at Ye Qian and smiled while bringing her hands together and greeted "Hello Uncle Ye."

Seeing the polite gesture of the little girl Ye Qian patted her head and gave candy to her.

Little Qiqi looked at him and said "Papa she is Little Ji, she is my best friend and this is Rong, Wie, Jing, Xue and she is Min."

As Little Qiqi pointed at the girls one by one Ye Qian patted their heads and gave them candies.

As the girls received his pat they felt a warm current flowing in them and felt energetic.

Yuan Meng looked at Ye Qian as he treated every girl with some care.

'He really has changed a lot after all these years.' She felt the girls were also happy after getting the candies and were looking much different than before.

It was like they were radiating.

'Did Qian'er did the same thing to me so I look a lot more beautiful than before.' Yuan Meng thought as she saw the little girl and then looked at her hand.

Meanwhile, the girls thanked Ye Qian for the candies and brought Little Qiqi to the classroom.

"Thank you Uncle, thanks uncle." They walked with Little Qiqi as she waved at Ye Qian and Yuan Meng while saying goodbye to them.

"Butterfly take these candies and give them to your other friends." Ye Qian took a small pouch from his pocket and handed it to Little Qiqi.

Little Qiqi nodded and went with her friends.

"Bye Papa, Bye Mumma."

Ye Qian and Yuan Meng also waved at Little Qiqi and smiled after finally seeing her entering the class.

Ye Qian looked at Yuan Meng and smiled, while Yuan Meng nodded her head and took his hand again and started walking to her High School.

Meanwhile, in the classroom, Little Qiqi went.

"Hey, Little Qiqi when did your father come back?" Little Ji asked after coming to their regular desk and keeping her Micky mouse bag and asked Little Qiqi.

"Papa came back yesterday." Little Qiqi said in excitement.

"Does he know some magic?" Little Rong asked as she came to them.

"Hmm, I don't know but why do you ask Little Rong?" Little Qiqi looked up while thinking and asked.

"Umm, I felt good when he patted my head. I was having a fever in the morning but now it feels good." Little Rong said as she looked around.

Meanwhile, other little girls who were with them also said the same.

"Good Morning Miss Wu." The children greeted her while bowing.

Miss Wu smiled and said to the children.

Meanwhile, as the little girls talked about magic there was a middle-aged man who was dressed in a cleaner uniform and was hearing everything the girls said even after being at a distance.

The man turned and looked at her and while saying "Children are the purest and precious things given to us."

While the man said he had a slight melancholic expression.

On the road leading to the City High School, a couple walked while holding each other's hands and smiled at timed while looking at each other.

The woman asked, "When did you bring so many candies?"

"Umm, when I went to the market yesterday. Mengmeng how long is it?" The man asked her after answering the question.

"Umm, just a few more minutes we are almost there." The woman replied.

The couple was indeed Ye Qian and Yuan Meng.

Yuan Meng suddenly asked after a few steps.

"What did you do to Qiqi's friends?" Yuan Meng asked while smiling.

"Did you do the same thing to me last night when I fell unconscious?"

"Yes, I did the same but you needed a lot. But it's fine, now you will have nothing wrong." Ye Qian said as he looked into her eyes and brought his hands to hold her face.

"Hmm" Yuan Meng simply nodded and smiled at him.

"So how do you get the energy back now that you have used it." Yuan Meng asked as she thought for a while.

"Hmm, it's um." Ye Qian stuttered as he tried to think.
