Chapter 695 Wu Family Meeting (1)

Although the Wu Family was strong in the Star City and the few cities around, it was a shame for them to not be able to get to know who was the person who harmed their young master much less even gritting their teeth in order to not make things worse if the person was much more powerful just as they had determined given the information.

Wu Family's mansion.

"Patriarch, are we just going to hold ourselves when the young master is treated to such a condition?"

The man speaking was an underlying of Wu Jiang and also a close confidential who had been holding almost most of the affairs under his order.

Wu Jiang and some of the ones in the family who were close to him had just come back after seeing Wu Ping's condition.

But he had not brought his wife, Su Xun with him to the hospital since he knew that she won't be able to hold herself well if she were to see their son's healthy.

Even his own heart pained when he saw his son lying on the bed surrounded by dozens of machines.

And he could still hear the howls of pain around his eat as Wu Ping shouted even when he was unconscious.

Wu Jiang stood quiet while the other elders and members of the family sat while looking at him.

Among them was also his brother Wu Tian.

Wu Tian was his younger brother and also Wu Ying's father.

He mostly kept himself out of the family affairs and stayed a simple life and lot like the other members of the Wu family.

Wu Tian had an apartment and lived there with his wife and daughter.

It would not be wrong to say that all of this was also due to Wu Jiang and some of his people that Wu Tian had started to live away from the Wu Family.

Wu Jiang was greedy for power and riches which made him throw his younger brother out of the companies he was in charge of and made him fall for many traps that he had forged along with some other people in order to take over his business.

Of course, no one other than a very few people know of this, and those who did were Wu Jiang's men.

Right now, Wu Tian only held a small business under his power and which gave him enough to live a good life with his wife and daughter.

Of course, the business was jewellery and due to certain reasons, Wu Jiang was not able to take over this from Wu Tian.

But right now, everyone from the Wu Family was called due to the incident.

And although Wu Tian didn't seem anyhow interested in this matter, he still had to attend the meeting.

But seeing his brother's bland face, Wu Jiang's blood boiled.

To him, this was taken to Wu Tian trying to shame him for not being competent enough to even take revenge for his son.

"Patriarch!"

Thinking that the patriarch might have been thinking about something and had not heard what he had just said, the man called out once again.

Wu Jiang breathed a mouthful of air and forced his anger down and turned to everyone.

"I know that many of you might have been thinking as to why I have been so quiet and how am I being able to swallow this hatred for the person who almost killed my son."

He paused and then continued after taking a look at everyone in the hall.

"And I also know that this is a shame for the Wu Family to just sit while our blood is spoiled."

Just as he said this, the whole hall went into an uproar.

"Patriarch, no matter what, the Wu Family can't stay like this."

"Yes, we standing just like this is akin to accepting that anyone can bully us."

The few men of the family who were about in their mid 30's burst into anger while the elders stayed quiet as if waiting for Wu Jiang to continue what he had to say.

"I know just like yours, my blood also boils, and why should it not, it is my son who is howling in pain in the hospital right now."

Just as he said, the glass in his hand shattered into fragments and a trail of blood started to fall down his hand.

But he didn't seem to have felt anything and then continued.

"But I also am the current Patriarch of the family, and thus can't make any decisions in haste."

Just as he said, the whole hall turned silent.

? But after a moment, someone burst into anger.

"How can that be Patriarch, we can't let the people look down upon us the Wu's, if we don't remove the weeds before they grow then they will only spread in no time."

He was the same guy.

"Indeed, if we don't take any actions the others will also think of us as trees to be chopped."

An elder said while nodding.

"I ask everyone to be calm for a moment, I want everyone to see something and we can take some decision later after looking at what I have got to show all of you, maybe seeing this would help you know why I don't want to make any decision in haste."

Hearing him the hall once again turned completely quiet.

What could it be for Wu Jiang who was a vengeful person to be calm even when his son was lying in the hospital.

"CLANG"

Everyone was wondering when they heard the screeching of the door and then the entrance of the hall was opened and everyone saw a young man in his mid 20's walk in with an iPad in his hand.

He was the person responsible for the intelligence and investigation of the whole family.

"Patriarch, I have retrieved the video from the car."

He said to Wu Jiang who just nodded.
