Chapter 684 Truth Exposed?

After having his breakfast, Ye Qian looked at the watch and sighed.

It was more than 10 already and it had been close to 6 days since he had come to Earth.

But in just these 6 days, he had gone through so much that he couldn't help but think if he had been here for just 6 days.

Ye Qian sighed thinking about the killing he had done in just these few days and shook his head.

A Honda stopped while a graceful figure of a woman walked out of the car.

"Sister-in-law, what is all this crowd about, the whole street appears to be blocked?"

From the driver's seat, a young man walked out while staring at the large number of people who were blocking the entire road giving little to no space for even a bike to go through, much less a car.

"Everything was well till yesterday, maybe something happened just last night?"

Yuan Meng wondered, she had gone through this place yesterday and there was nothing like this yesterday, so she knew that something might have happened after they left.

"Well, let me take a look!"

Su Ren pursed his lips and walked to the crowd.

As he went further, he couldn't help but want to throw up.

And that was because the close he went, he could smell a nauseating odour lingering in the air.

Meanwhile, the people in the crowd also had their noses covered with masks.

Su Ren also got his handkerchief from his pocket since he was not able to bear this odour anymore, but he still wanted to see what was happening.

"Hey, brother, what is happening here?"

Calling someone, Su Ren asked.

The crowd seemed to be a lot and the smell was also growing as he went closer.

He couldn't help but think how all these people were able to withstand this.

"Well, this brother, I don't know, but there was a sudden commotion and some people in aprons from labs came here all of a sudden."

The man said, his voice was also muffled due to the cloth he had been holding in his mouth so as to not smell the nauseating odour.

The middle-aged man beside him raised his brows at the guy and then at Su Ren.

"Ohh, don't you know, there is something by the corner of the road."

"In the morning, after the teachers started to come to the school, they found a glob of black mud by the side of the road."

"Black mud?"

Su Ren was confused.

"Yeah, but as they went closer they saw that it was not just some pile of mud but a body of some animal"

"Though no one is able to recognize it with what the condition it is in right now, but it surely doesn't look different than that of a dog to me though."

Saying that the middle-aged man fished out his phone and showed something to Su Ren and the one whom he asked before.

Su Ren felt the breakfast he had had in the morning churning in his stomach.

These guys were saying that would make anyone feel like throwing up.

"What the f*ck is that?"

Controlling himself, Su Ren couldn't help but let out a curse.

"Hehe, brother, this is what those guys in white suits are studying there."

The middle-aged man chuckled dryly and pointed at the centre of the crowd where there were roughly 10 people wearing lab aprons and using some scientific types of equipment.

Su Ren took a side glance and wondered.

"Why would they do something like that here, isn't it just some dead dog, doesn't the city office take care of such things?"

He couldn't understand why would some scientists would come here and do their experiments.

"Well, brother you still haven't got it right?"

The middle-aged man looked at the two and shook his head with a chuckle.

"The matter is, the DOG should have died yesterday at most."

Su Ren and the other guy nodded.

"But this body is rotten as if it had been kept there for at least for a month or so."

"It has already started to decompose into some creepy liquid."

The middle-aged man seemed to be disgusted as he said.

"What!"

Su Ren knew enough to know that there was no way that a body would start to decompose so soon.

"And there are also a few signs which would make anyone feel fear when you go close to it."

The middle-aged man said, but subconsciously he trembled as if he was saying something which made him feel threatened.

"What is it elder brother?"

The guy next to Su Ren asked.

"There are some marks on the road and the wall next to the body of the dog."

"And what makes it threatening is that those seem as if they had been caused after some kind of monster scratched with his fingers."

The man said as he scrolled his phone and then showed the images to Su Ren and the other guy.

The few people who were around them and didn't know what was really happening took some glances and were shocked.

If one looked clearly those scratch marks were about 2 centimetres deep.

One could only imagine what kind of animal might have done this.

You should know that even when using some axe anyone would have a hard time making a scratch which was so deep and accurate as if it was done in just a single strike.

"Hmm, sit here, I wanted to talk to you about something very important."

Grandpa Xiao who always had a serious face had a smile on his face as he called Ye Qian.

"Old Xiao, just don't blame our child for it."

Grandma Yan who was sitting beside Grandpa Xiao urged as she gripped Grandpa Xiao's hand.

"I won't, but Yan'er, I want you to leave us alone."

He nodded while pointing to the bedroom.

"SIGH, alright, just don't lose your cool."

Grandma Yan sighed and walked to the room after giving a gentle stroke to Ye Qian's head.

"Dad, what do you want to talk about?"

Ye Qian saw Grandma Yan close the door while she took a peek through the gap and then shut it tight.

"PAAAH"

Ye Qian felt his cheek burning as he understood that Grandpa Xiao had slapped him.

But the slap was not intended to hurt, and Ye Qian knew it for sure.

"This was for lying for all this long."
