Chapter 608 Papa, I Removed The Beans

"Papa, Qiqi tried so much, NOMMM, but this pod won't open. NOMMMM"

p In the kitchen, Little Qiqi munched onto the bean that her Papa gave her to eat and complained, but she was so busy eating that she stopped twice when she complained.

"Alright, let me show you how to open it with ease."

Ye Qian chuckled and stored her hair while making her sit on the chair properly and brought a handful of pods right in front of her.

The two little girl's stared at him with their eyes not even blinking for a moment.

"Here, see, first take this side where u can see a short branch, then slowly pull it down against the side of the pod and then all the way down the end of the pod."

Ye Qian said while showing both the girls right in front of them and did it slowly enough for them to know it clearly.

"Alright, Papa, now see how Qiqi removed beans from this little pod."

After a minute of tedious training, Little Qiqi had finally grasped the knowledge of removing beans from the pods, and so she wanted to show her Papa how much she had learned.

Saying that the little girl took a small pod from the bunch which was in front of her and looked at both the ends

She held the pod like a stick with her fingers but after looking at the tip which was in front of her she pouted her lips and said in annoyance.

"Humph, you are not the head."

Saying that the little girl flipped the pod and then looked closer and nodded for a moment as a proud smile appeared on her baby face.

She then brought her other tiny hand and pulled the tip with her fingers.

And in just a flash of a moment, the vein which held the pod tightly was removed thus loosening the pod.

The little girl though, was not even a bit joyous, as she continued to pull the vein completely and then held the two sides of the pod in both her hands and separated the two shell sides.

"Tap tap tap"

As soon as the two shells of the green pod were separated, the beans fell onto the table making a few tapping sounds.

"Yay, Qiqi removed the beans."

"Look Papa, there are so many beans."

"One, two, three, four and five, there are five beans which Qiqi got from this pod."

Though this accomplishment would be nothing for any adult, it was no less than winning a price for our Little Qiqi who grinned and exclaimed to her Papa.

For children, it was great for them to show off in front of their parents and show them what they could do.

It would give them a sense of happiness and accomplishment and a different kind of confidence to improve even more.

And this was even more for Little Qiqi who had always wanted to meet her Papa.

Her Mumma would always tell her how sweet and cute her Papa was and she would always cuddle while holding the photo of her Papa while she slept.

If she got any prize or gift she would be showing it first to that picture of her Papa and say how she got the prize.

Although doing all didn't bring her Papa back to her, she felt that her Papa would always be there with her.

Which only got her close to her Papa and not hate him even if people continued to say that her Papa left her and her Mumma and ran away.

That was because she knew that her Papa was a very good person and she believed him very much.

Seeing the little girl so happy, Ye Qian felt warmth rising in his heart.

No matter what, even a small accomplishment of his child was more than enough for him to be happy and celebrate.

It could be said that even when he had got the heavenly treasures, Ye Qian might not have felt as happy as when he saw his little daughter removing the beans from the pod.

Ye Qian clapped his hands and smiled seeing the cheerful Little Qiqi and nodded.

"You did very good, I am very proud."

These were the only words which could come out of his mouth as he couldn't even think of what he should say.

But he knew that no words were enough for him to praise his little daughter.

"Hehe, it's all because Papa thought Qiqi so nicely."

"Alright, now Qiqi will help Papa even more."

The little girl grinned and then placed the beans in the bowl which was in front of Ye Qian.

"Hmm."

Ye Qian nodded and then turned to Little Jia who was smiling while holding a pod in her hand which obviously she had opened and there were a lot of beans in it.

Seeing her Papa looking at her, the little girl turned to him and gave a sweet smile.

"Papa, I also removed the beans."

"Yes, my Jia also did very well."

Ye Qian nodded and then pecked onto the little girl's forehead.

"Thank you, Papa."

The little girl smiled and then brought her attention back to the small tent of pods in front of her.

Seeing her getting busy, Ye Qian smiled but didn't say anything and let the little girl continue what she was.

If Ye Qian felt happy when he saw Little Qiqi smile then it could be said that he felt relief after seeing Little Jia smile and being happy.

It could be due to the reason for him adopting her or maybe some other, but he was sure that this little girl was special and it was fate that they had met each other.

Meanwhile, behind the three, Grandma Yan looked at them with a gentle motherly smile on her face.

She had seen all that had happened in just these few moments and her old memories flashed in front of her eyes.
