Chapter 603 No One Would Support You If You Are Not Worthy

After Han Lao left the meeting, a few of his supporters also followed behind him.

If the general had left then there was no use of them as soldiers to stay in the batter filled right?

Right now, there were only roughly 70 people in the hall.

Of those were those who had not supported either side and stayed neutral.

"Hereby I announce that Han Xiaowen will continue to lead the Han Corporation under her guidance and help us grow the company with her decisions and intellect.'

Li Zhiyun announced in a clear and crisp voice making those who had the slightest uncertainty in their hearts to be clear with her decision.

These people were those who had not chosen either side, of course, there were some of the people who had been working with her for a long time, but right now they had not supported Han Xiaowen, which made her a bit displeased.

Her voice was just like order as she announced turning to Han Xiaowen with a gentle and caring smile on her face.

"See, even without me, no one would have the ability to throw you out of your won company."

She said while stroking Han Xiaowen's hair.

"Hmm, thanks, Mom."

Han Xiaowen nodded, the most she was afraid of was to lose what her mother had been painstakingly making for all these years and only to lose when it had arrived under her rule.

Of course, it was also because of this that Han Xiaowen had been working hard and learning all these things so that she would be able to help her mother relive some of her work by giving her a helping hand.

"My child, if you were not competent enough then do you think that they might have supported you?"

Li Zhiyun shook her head and said whole pointing at Mr Zhang who was walking towards them.

"Sister Li, it's a very lucky day seeing you back to being healthy."

He said with a bright smile and nodded at Han Xiaowen and continued.

"What your mother said is indeed true, if you have not shown any work and made a profit for us, we might not have supported you."

"We are businessmen after all."

He said giving a light pat on Han Xiaowen's head, if it was before when Han Xiaowen was young then she might have been afraid of Mr Zhang given his fate which always contained anger, and only after working did she realize that things were not often like what they appeared like.

Although, Mr Zhang looked a bit harsh and strict man, he was very kind and helpful always helping her in her work.

It would not be wrong to say that he was her adviser all this long in the company helping her take some decisions which made her overcome the losses in a few deals.

"Thanks a lot, Uncle Zhang, I am really grateful for your support and teachings."

Han Xiaowen gave a light bow to everyone who had voted while supporting her with eh depth of her heart.

"Hoho, little girl, your dad was my friend, how can I not help you, if I don't then how am I going to face him when I meet him there."

Mr Zhang laughed aloud breaking the official atmosphere in the hall to that of a friendly party.

"Haha, Brother Zhang you can say that, but I am really grateful for taking care of my child in my absence."

Li Zhiyun said while handing a glass of wine to Mr Zhang.

By now everyone in the hall was handed a glass of wine in order to celebrate two things.

First was her return and the second was Han Xiaowen's place in the Han Industries.

"Haha, Sister Li's words make this old man feel like an outsider."

Mr Zhang chuckled and then continued.

"But since it's a business meeting right now, then I accept this drink."

And so everyone cheered up along with Han Xiaowen and Li Fen whose hearts were not completely relieved from worry.

After half an hour, all the members of the Board of Directors had left and only a few who were relatively close to Han Xiaowen and Li Zhiyun stayed.

Like Li Fen, Mr Zhang and a few others consisted of men and women.

There were roughly 5 more people other than Han Xiaowen, her mother and Li Fen.

"Sister Li, we are really delighted to see you back behind healthy, but how did it happen so suddenly?"

One of the women who appeared similar in age to Li Zhiyun's asked while sitting beside her.

It had to be known that among the Board Members, there were obviously who had a very close relationship with Li Zhiyun and of which was this woman and so they would come and visit Li Zhiyun and Han Xiaowen every now and then and ask about her conditions.

Of course, they had met Li Zhiyun last week and had known that she had not shown any signs of waking up from her comatose and looked too frail and unhealthy.

But right now, it would not be wrong to say that the few women were a bit jealous in their hearts seeing Li Zhiyun who appeared so young right now.

It could be said that Li Zhiyun appeared as if she had turned about a decade younger and if not for them knowing the two, most of them might have already thought of Li Zhiyun as Han Xiaowen's elder sister and not her mother.

Every woman wanted to look younger no matter how old she was and right now they were obviously suspicious of Li Zhiyun's conditions.

"Ahh, Aunt Wen, it has indeed not been long...."

Han Xiaowen wanted to continue but was stopped by her mother.
