After hearing from Ye Qian that if she had touched the scale and might have hurt herself, Xiao ya stopped crying and looked at Ye Qian with confusion.

Of course, her eyes were still moist due to the crying from just now.

But she refrained herself from grabbing the scale at once.

She didn't want to be scolded by her Dad just for this tiny scale.

And though she knew that her Dad only scolded her because it was harmful to her, she still was angry with the scale.

'If not for you, Dad would never have scolded me. Humph.'

She almost had the urge to punch the scale and kicked it a few times as she had seen in cartoons, but thinking about what her Dad had just said, she didn't.

"Dad, this scale is so beautiful, what kind of animal has it?"

The little girl asked Ye Qian while her eyes fluttered with light.

Not only the little girl but even Ye Qian thought that the scale was very beautiful.

So to simply say it, one had to be at least above Chi Establishment in order to be completely unharmed by the poison of the Scale.

Just as Ye Qian's feet landed on the ground once again, something happened which would make anyone feel as if a sudden curse had appeared in the world.

The tree from which Ye Qian had just removed the scale, had started to wither at an unimaginable rate almost visible to one's eyes.

It could be said that the leaves of the green tree which were shining with a cool and soothing reflection of the rays of the sun had turned dark in just a matter of few moments and then just like the colour of ink it turned so dark that one would not even imagine that it was a tree.

And that was not all.

The bark of the tree which was brown and had some light cracks in it suddenly turned into a glob of liquid running down the tree and into the ground.

It was just like the lava of a volcano, but instead of hot and burning, it gave off a putrid smell which made one feel obnoxious and want to throw up.

"CRAKKKK"

With a loud cracking noise, the trunk of the tree cracked as if not being able to overcome its own weight and broke with a snapping sound, falling to the ground and releasing a loud bang.

"EWWW, so bad."

Although Ye Qian had quickly formed a thin layer of Spiritual Qi around them so that the little girl won't smell the reeking odour of the tree getting turned into a glob of liquid, he still couldn't hide the gooey liquid from flowing to the ground and hide it from her.

And after seeing the sticky dark stuff moving on the ground, it definitely made the little girl feel her stomach churn.

It had to be known that she had eaten a lot of meat just a while ago, and now seeing this would even make an adult feel unsightly much less a little girl like her.
