Chapter 499 I Don’t Have A Son!

"Sir here are your orders."

After talking for more than 5 minutes the water walked with a tray in his hand and smiled widely.

Though the order given by Ye Qian was just simple, the things that Su Ren had ordered were definitely not as cheap as Ye Qian so he was happy that he would be getting a tip from Su Ren.

"Thanks."

Ye Qian was about to thank him but the waiter didn't give any attention and only left with a slight nod from Su Ren.

Ye Qian smiled wryly.

The world definitely trusted the one who looked rich.

Then Su Ren passed the two muffins to Ye Qian along with the coffee.

"By the way, Ren was the boy your child?"

Ye Qian smelled the fragrant coffee aroma and felt a bit rejuvenated

"PFTTTT"

Su Ren who had just taken a sip of his mocha, almost choked out of Ye Qian's question.

Ye Qian quickly ducked down.

"What a brat?"

Su Ren spat while glaring at Ye Qian.

Ye Qian was a bit confused as to the sudden reaction from Su Ren and if not for his fast reflexes, he might have been really splashed with the creamy mocha on his face.

Su Ren wiped his lips and coughed still choking and snapped at Ye Qian.

"How can that brat be my son?"

"He is just my nephew, old Ye didn't you just hear him call me Uncle right, how can you ask such question?"

"Besides, he is a year older than your Jia, how can I have a child older than yours?'

Su Ren had a defeated look on his face as he gave many reasons.

"Ahh that, I am sorry."

Ye Qian scratched the back of his head.

Indeed he had forgotten about all those things, most of his attention was on Little Jia and this he didn't hear much of the conversation between Su Ren and his nephew.

Now after Su Ren pointed it out, Ye Qian felt that he had really embarrassed himself now.

The muffin was quite delicious and Ye Qian could still smell the light aroma of blueberry and a few other sweet substances including honey and sugars.

Though the muffin was a delicacy, Ye Qian had tasted much more delicious things in eh heaven and he didn't have much of a delighted expression on his face as he bit on the muffins.

p "Tsk, this man is really low, how can he eat a muffin as if he was eating a plane cake?'

The waiter was looking around in hope of new customers, and his gaze landed on Ye Qian who was munching down on the dessert as if it was nothing special.

Though he was the waiter of the cafe, even he didn't have the idea of having such delicacy every day and seeing that Ye Qian was eating it as if it was just a simple bean cake and nothing else, the waiter felt pity for the muffin.

The two were done in just a few minutes since there was nothing much as they continued to chat with each other and a few loud laughs were heard in the quiet cafe making the others disturbed, but none said anything since there was no such rule that one couldn't laugh aloud or speak.

There was indeed a flash of disdain in their eyes.

Finally, a young man who was sitting quite close to the two couldn't stop and called.

"Hey can't you two be a bit low, you are disturbing us all."

The young man had come here to spend some time with his girlfriend but was being constantly disturbed by Ye Qian and Su Ren.

He had wanted to change the seat but later found that there was barely any table which was empty,

But after hearing Ye Qian and Su Ren for a long time along with his merry time being wasted like this, the young man vouched.

Su Ren and Ye Qian were about to finish and were about to walk out and were just waiting for the water to come with the bill so they waited.

But then they heard someone call them and said to indirectly shut up.

Su Ren was in a happy mood today, he had not only met his old pal but also found that he had a beautiful niece, he was already thinking of making Ye Qian work with him since he knew that Ye Qian was leisure now and would be in need of money since his clothes also looked cheap.

Though Ye Qian had not talked to Su Ren about job or money related things, Su Ren knew that with Ye Qian's attitude, he would rather search by himself and not ask for someone's help in such a situation.

Almost everyone knew that Ye Qian was simple-minded but deep down his bones he was still a very arrogant one who won't want to be helped by others as he would rather work hard.

Su Ren was already thinking if he would be able to help Ye Qian out since they were old friends and Ye Qian also seemed to be in need and just hadn't said it out.

And with his attitude, Su Ren knew that Ye Qian would never say it out to him.

So he was willing to do a few things here and there to get his old friend a good job and help his sister-in-law and little niece.

Though Su Ren had met Little Jia for the first time, he had started to get fond of her with her behaviours and knew that she was well thought and he really admired Yuan Meng for all this now.

"Sister in law was alone but still brought up a little girl by herself and taught such good things to the girl, I really admire her."

Su Ren was thinking as he remembered how the little cute girl greeted him and bowed lightly with a beaming smile on her face.

He didn't know why, but he really felt like the little girl was quite different from others of her age.

Even her demeanour was different.
