"Well, Mengmeng only said that if I want to be in a relationship with her then I should be able to carry it on until the death."

Ye Qian's words were like a loud bang to his friends who were ardently listening to him.

It was indeed a shocking truth, who might have thought that the most beautiful girl in the whole University back then would have such a simple wish.

Now that they thought of it, it did feel obvious, if Yuan Meng had wanted riches then there were bound to be a long line of men trying to woo her with their money and luxury which they might have been able to promise.

But of all, Yuan Meng only accepted Ye Qian, though he was not poor or down, Ye Qian's family could be considered as a middle class.

But still, Yuan Meng had accepted him and was willing to live all her life with him even when she had the chance to get much more powerful and rich men with just a wave of her hand.

But this was also not something that they had talked to Ye Qian about, and after so long even they had forgotten about it since the couple had married right after passing the University and were already having a child soon.

But thinking about how poor their thoughts were about their sister-in-law, they felt ashamed and had their head hung low.

None of them had an ounce of displeasure after hearing Ye Qian, now that they had heard the true reason, they knew that it was indeed Ye Qian who was good enough for Yuan Meng and vice versa.

There was nothing vile that had taken in place in between the two as the rumours said back then.

"Hey, what happened to you all suddenly?"

Seeing that all of them had suddenly turned silent Ye Qian asked, he was already thinking of what kind of excuses he should sad in order to not be beaten by his buddies.

"Well, it's nothing, we just are happy that you two are going to have a child soon, have you thought of names?'

Wu Yufeng smiled and then sipped on the wine.

"Well, Mengmeng and mom said that we will name her Qi."

Ye Qian said while scratching the back of his head.

All of them knew that Ye Qian used to call Yuan Meng like such ever since they were in a relationship back since the University.

Hearing the name which Yuan Meng and Aunt Yan had thought of for the upcoming child the friends were surprised and happy.

It was indeed a good name.

After another minute or two, the car stopped with the squeaking of the brakes.

Ye Qian came back from his memories as a smile appeared on his face.

That was also the last time he had seen all of his close friends and after that nearly about three months later he met that accident in the valley of Dragon and Phoenixes and his soul entered into the dying cultivator in the Lesser Heavens.

Ye Qian looked around from the window and noticed that the area they were in seemed to be close to the Metro District where Aunt Qin and Uncle Fu's food court was situated.

This time, Su Ren was all quiet and stayed in the car for a few more moments until Ye Qian waved his hand at him.

Seeing that Su Ren was still not getting out of the car and was still thinking, Ye Qian tapped the window lightly.

Su Ren walked out and took a looked at Ye Qian from head to toe and then said.

"Let's go and have a coffee."

Ye Qian could only nod and didn't say anything, he knew that Su Ren was finding it hard to digest that he was not here for all this long and even his parents and Yuan Meng had been considering it he was dead.

And though Su Ren and others didn't know about all this, after getting to know about it was indeed a shocking thing.

Ye Qian knew that if they had known about him going missing then they might have tried their best to search for him while also taking care of his family for the time.

If that might have happened then Yuan Meng wouldn't have needed to suffer all this while.

"SIGH"

Thinking of Yuan Meng, Ye Qian sighed and followed Su Ren who was walking into the entrance.

The cafe was a simple one while there were many students who sat while sipping on their cups while also gazing at their laptops and some were young couples who held hands while sipping their coffee.

Ye Qian smiled and didn't say anything, he understood one thing and that was that the world had changed a lot in these 5 years and it was his perspective of seeing the current world that would be thought as cheap if he were to say it out.
