Jovani didn't wait for the car to even pull up before coming out and meeting the duo who'd come to visit. The Vedova Nera boss felt fairly confident in the fact that his cousin would choose to side with him on his current dilemma.

"What exactly do you think that you're doing coming out in your current state? You're supposed to be resting?" Alonso's window rolled down as he scolded the other. Jovani simply smiled with a shrug moving towards the back passenger side where Samuel sat.

"Come now, don't waste time in coming in. There's some food we can bother ourselves with inside. Once we get one tiny thing out of the way first." Jovani didn't seem to care about being mindful of his injured arm as he pulled his younger cousin into a hug. Samuel hesitantly returned it, glancing over at Alonso who'd not yet stepped out.

"What issue? I don't want to have to deal with one more serious thing on top of what already took place today." Alonso ran a hand through his hair. Shutting the car off before rolling the window up and opening the door. If his boss managed to get himself into any kind of trouble, he could figure out how to deal with it on his own. Bringing Samuel all the way out and avoiding getting shot felt like more than enough for one day. Despite knowing the afternoon held a number of other things to attend to.

"It isn't anything that serious. I just need a little favor. Tiny honestly. I currently am deprived of alcohol around this place so I was hoping Alonso you could go and fetch me something to drink." Alonso's expression dropped at this comment. Blinking rapidly, he fixed the other with a look of disbelief.

Surely his boss didn't expect him to go about driving just after being stuck in the car for the last few hours.

"Is not better for you to stop drinking right now? For whatever reason you don't have access, I think that it should remain that way." Alonso appreciated the other voicing his opinion. It meant that he did not have to go about arguing with his boss. The man who seemed astonished at the words that came out of Samuel's mouth.

"Cousin! I didn't think that you out of all people would be siding opposite of me. Can't you understand the situation enough to know how much I need this?" Jovani's appeal to ethos by appearance didn't seem to sway Samuel all that much.

"Don't you think that it would better help you recover if you avoided stuff like that right now? Pain pills and alcohol from what I know don't make a great match in heaven." Samuel tried to pull away only to find Jovani didn't want to let go quite yet.

"Do you think that I look like someone who belongs in heaven?" Samuel looked in the direction of Alonso as though the other might be able to help him out. A flashing space indicated where the right-hand man had been mere moments indicating he left.

"If he's not interested in coming with us, we could just go about it ourselves. Maybe even get you a little something that might help whatever is going on." Jovani nudged his cousin gently. The younger only pulled a face at him. The typical vibrant kid cousin no longer seemed to be as vibrant as before. Whatever took place between him, and Lena must've been serious business.

"Just say yes and let us use this time to bond. Even if you decide that you don't want to get anything to drink, I need someone to carry items out with me." Jovani tried to plead with the other. Evalyn wouldn't find out if they left soon enough. Just a little drip of alcohol would make the world so much a better place.

"I think that it would be better if we just stayed here rather than going out to do that. If it is that bad and you need something to drink, won't your fiancé be understanding of that?" When Samuel did manage to get the other to let him go, he made his way toward the estate's entrance.

"My fiancé would not be understanding in the slightest. While I would by no means compare her to Lena, Evy is very certain in regarding how she feels. No means no unless life is on the line."

Stepping inside, Samuel found himself surrounded by servants who quickly took the few things he had off his hands. Without a word, they fussed about taking care of the task even going as far as to remove Samuel's overshirt and hang it up.

"Come now. Stop fussing so much about him. He only just got here and needs some space. Jovani shooed the staff. Despite being employed by the Vedova Nera boss, they knew better than to try and do the same with Jovani despite his current state.

"I am sure in light of this, you can understand why it would be so important for me to get alcohol from another source. My fiancé can't say much if I don't touch what she forbid." Jovani followed after the other into the dining room.

The food had already been laid out for them. Carefully covered in order to ensure it didn't go cold before they could touch it.

"Why not asking someone else around here to do it then? Aren't there enough people who'd be willing?' Samuel could tell right away none of the servants would object to fulfilling such a request. Plus there likely were  a few family members from his last visit who would pitch in. Jovani let out a strained laugh before licking his bottom lip.

"It doesn't work like that Sammy. It has to be you or Alonso. The people who I know wouldn't dare to breath a word about this matter."

Despite appreciating the faith that Jovani put in him, that didn't move Samuel to feel anymore inclined to fulfil his cousin's request.
