The moment that Lena caught sight of the man, she moved. Shoving past Samuel before he or either of the nurses and Alonso could react.

"Lena!" Alonso barked. The first to notice the murderous intent coming off the Red Scorpion princess. She meant business.

A guard stepped out in front of the middle-aged man to protect him. He didn't get the chance to draw his gun before Lena hit his right hand with a round kick followed by a sweep to knock him off his feet.

With the first obstacle out of the way, Lena went for her gun, clicking the safety off before it even left the holster. The motions were so fluid and quick, as though the princess had no second to waste and couldn't move quickly enough.

The man didn't even try to move in the few between the guard being knocked down to Lena pressing the gun under his chin. The neutral, tight-lipped expression didn't shift either as he met her eyes blazing with hatred. Despite how hard the cold metal pressed into the underside of his chin, he could detect the faint tremble. Anger barely contained.

"What are you doing here?" Lena spat, teeth gritted as she pushed the gun further forcing the other to tilt his head back to be able to breathe freely.

"You of all people have no right entering this room." Her trigger finger twitched. All it would take is one quick pull and the man would be dead.

"I came here because I heard what happened to your family and wanted to offer my services any way that I could." The calm tone and words only served to anger the princess further.

"You of all people? Do you think after everything that happened you have any right to come anywhere near my family? After what your father did?" Her voice dropped to a harsh whisper, inaudible to everyone except for the man she stood in front of. Of course, she hadn't forgotten what took place even after all of these years. Who could?

The man opened his mouth to speak again but before he could, he was suddenly pulled back by someone behind him. The unexpected move even caught Lena off guard as at the same time, something grabbed the gun in her hand.

"Lena! Easy off, I was the one who brought him here." Julian appeared in the doorway, putting himself between Lena and the other man. Shoving the latter behind him as though to provide some form of protection from the demon princess.

"He reached out to me and I was the one who requested that came, okay? You can back down now."

Julian's words didn't have the desired effect, however.

Rather than easing off, Lena took a swipe at her Uncle. Jerking the hand that held the gun down at the same time she brought her knee up. Julian winced as the bone made contact with his wrist, forcing him to drop the gun.

Lena caught the gun before it could hit the floor, backhanding Julian with the cold metal. The gun didn't make full contact as Julian managed to grab ahold of her wrist to block the brunt of her hit. As quickly as this occurred, Julian found his feet knocked out from under him as Lena took another swipe at him.

The force and Julian's grip caused Lena to be pulled down with him. The princess however managed to maintain control of the situation.  Shifting just enough to be able to point the gun at the other.

"What in the world were you thinking? Out of anyone, you should know most why that person shouldn't be here." Lena didn't even try to the pain lacing her voice as it cracked at the end of her sentence. Too far consumed by the anger that threatened to burn her and everyone else around here.

"Lena, that's your uncle." Alonso tried once again to get the other's attention only to have the other raise his hand to tell him to back off. Help wouldn't be as helpful as they might imagine at the current moment in time.

"I know you're upset." Julian took a steady deep breath when he felt gun the push further against his stomach.

"Does upset look as though it could classify what I am feeling right now?" Lena hissed. The small rational part of her brain reminding her it was her uncle was the only thing keeping her from pulling the trigger.

"Out of anyone in the world that you could choose to bring here, you made one of the worst choices in your life." Julian only nodded his head slightly, keeping as still as possible to avoid the other pulling the trigger.

Until the trigger came back on, there was over an eight percent chance that Lena would shoot him. An uncle or not, he wasn't her primary concern to keep safe. Anyone who threatened her father or immediate family would be seen as an obstacle in her current state of mind.

"Would you please just give me a minute to explain the situation to you? I think that once you hear what I Have to say, you might change your mind about the matter." Julian tried again. Voice low and steady as he could see the princess not nearing wanting to relent on her position.

"I don't care what reason you brought him here for. I want him gone." Lena glanced over when she noticed the other move out of the corner of her eye. The target under her wasn't the one that she wanted but he was part of the problem.

"Why don't you and I take a moment to take things through? If you don't like anything I have to say, you can do as you please?" The older man offered.

He dared to take a step forward until the princess shifted her hand on the gun, a slight flex that warned she would fire if he got any closer.

"Why don't you hear him out? Lena, you know out of anyone that I wouldn't purposely do anything to put your father or you in any kind of danger." Julian's eyes assured her of that but she couldn't trust him. Not now. Not after this last stunt.

"No. He either goes or I will force him to myself." The threat hung clearly in the air.

"Lena. I –" a gunshot rang out the moment that the other tried to speak.
