Lena wasn't able to sleep as well as she had been hoping to. Samuel did end up going to sleep rather than bothering her despite what she had first expected to happen.

The problem with this however was the fact that she found herself trapped against her taller fiancé being hugged as though she were his favorite teddy bear or something comparable.

She tolerated it at first the night before when she was too tired to do much about it and he wasn't causing her any trouble. Now that she was more awake and it was getting closer to morning and the time that her brother's flight would be leaving, She found it to be somewhat annoying.

She wanted to be able to get more sleep but knew it would be impossible so long as she was stuck in her current position. Samuel didn't snore, but his hot breath tickled the back of her neck each time he breathed in and out. It was a rather odd distraction that the princess didn't quite know how to feel about.

One on the hand, it tickled the back of her neck which was annoying when she was trying to sleep. The princess was very sensitive to even the slightest of things that messed with her senses. On the other hand, there was a little part about her current situation that somehow felt rather endearing.

Even if she wasn't that thrilled about her current situation, she couldn't deny that this was yet another change that indicated how far along they had come in their relationship.

Lena still wasn't fully convinced that the two of them fit that well together. Somehow though, they were making it work together and for the time being that was enough. They could worry about the more serious things as time went by.

So long as nothing serious happened, they would have plenty of time to discuss such matters later on. Right now, the princess was focused on getting the other to wake up so that they could be there to bid her brother farewell before he left for the next few months.

The princess felt awkward as she tried to figure out the best way to wake the other up. This wasn't something that she was used to doing. Generally, it was other people who were having to wake her up for one reason or another.

For the princess, the last time she remembered having to wake anyone up was when she was a child and would have bad dreams. That stopped when she got older though. It had been years since the last time she had to do something like this.

The worst part about it was the fact that each time she tried to speak to wake the other, it felt as though her voice had gotten stuck in her throat and the words wouldn't come out. Since when had she become so soft that she would be hesitant to wake Samuel up even though there was something that they needed to do.

The princess glared at the wall in annoyance. Perhaps she really was starting to become too soft when it came to these types of things. Not that it mattered when it was just her and her fiancé. She only needed to worry if other people outside of her family started to pick up on what was going on. Then it would be a real problem for her.

In the end, Lena didn't have to worry about figuring out how to wake the other up. Samuel woke up naturally a few minutes after she started berating herself for not being able to do something as simple as waking the other up. The princess wouldn't tell him that of course. He would likely just use it as something to tease her about.

She decided to say nothing at all about it as she immediately got up once he was awake enough to let her go begrudgingly. If it wasn't for the fact that there was something for them to do that morning, she had a feeling that the other would have been content to stay like that for as long as he could into the day before they were interrupted.

Lena was happy though that they had a reason to be getting up. She didn't think that she could have handled much more of her fiancé mushing himself against her the way that he was. Eventually, she knew that she was going to have to get used to it.

The only person who was going to the airport to see Leo off was Zane. The rest of the family would only see him off until he left. It was deemed to be safer that way. They didn't want to attract too much attention by having the whole family there at the airport.

Zane's presence alone would likely cause enough of a stir among people considering how well-known he was. Clive had chosen to go with him just to ensure that nothing happened while they were there.

Even though it was only going to be a few months, Leo was still displeased that he was having to leave his family again so soon. There were still so many things that he hadn't gotten the chance to do with them. He would have to add them to his list to take care of when he got to come back over the holidays. It would give him something to look forward to as he worked on getting through his studies.

"You don't need to look so much like you're going away forever or as if someone died. It'll only be a short time you're away and with your studies, it will likely come faster than you expect."

"I'm not even allowed to be disappointed over the fact that I am going to have to be away from my one and only favorite sister after only getting such a short period of time to spend with her?" Leo asked as he hugged the other. She hadn't been intending to give him a hug but accepted it since he would be away for a while.

"You know that you're going to have to take good care of her while I'm away and make sure that she behaves. I think that you're the only one that I can entrust this duty to." He told Samuel as he hugged the other.

"Also don't forget, my invitation to have you come and stay with me is still open should anything change between you and my sister and you need somewhere to stay for a while." He teased before pulling back from the hug with a playful smirk on his lips.

Samuel had slowly used to his antics so they didn't fluster him as much as they had in the past.

"I will keep that in mind should anything happen. I will also do my best to keep her in line while you're away." He told the other causing the princess to roll her eyes.

"Stop harassing my fiancé and get out of here before you end up missing your flight." She told the other as she shooed him away.

He really did need to get going, but he refused to do so without getting another hug from his older sister as well as his uncle.

He knew that it was only going to be for a short amount of time but that that short amount of time was going to feel like forever for him.
