C43 – Left the Manor for Water Moon Dock

“Eh? Where did it go?”

Gu Siyin quickly looked around restlessly, “We must search the room and catch it!”

Under the table, there was nothing.

“Yeah… I guess it must have slipped away.”

Ning Xiangrong bit her lips as she raised her gaze and saw Liu Yuan, who had secretly leaped onto the beams of the room.

Liu Yuan gave her a wink and shushed her with a forefinger to the lips.

Gu Siyin said worriedly, “That’s so scary! What if it bites someone again?”

“You are right. You must be careful. It’s probably a venomous snake!”

Ning Xiangrong implicitly ridiculed Liu Yuan.

She saw clearly that, the moment Gu Siyin’s attention was drawn by her scream, Liu Yuan slipped out from under the table and jumped to the beams.

What a sly man!

Ning Xiangrong suspected that Liu Yuan deliberately bit her to cause a stir so that he could take the opportunity to escape. Besides, how come he seemed so familiar with this kind of situation?

The good news was that he was a bad, unexperienced kisser. Otherwise, she would have slapped him in the face.

Gu Siyin heard Ning Xiangrong’s words and panicked. She worriedly checked the “wound” on her foot, at a loss what to do next. She seemed on the verge of tears, “Then, then what should we do? Sister Ning, are you alright?”

Ning Xiangrong smiled soothingly, “I am fine. I’m an immortal cultivator. This small injury won’t hurt me. Now please go tell the housekeeper that there are snakes in the manor and ask the guards to help catch them.”

Gu Siyin nodded, “Okay!”

She rushed out of the room.

The room fell into silence.

There was not a sound at all.

Swoosh!

As soon as Liu Yuan jumped down from the beams, Ning Xiangrong threw herself into his arms and softly hit him on the chest.

Her face was rosy as she mumbled in a low voice, “Why did you bite me?”

Liu Yuan cast a glance at her feet again. The bite mark looked very cute on her white foot and he could not help but smile and tease her, “It looks so sweet, so I took a bite.”

Ning Xiangrong blushed and tried to cover her feet up with her skirt.

“That’s just nonsense… The feet are dirty. How could it be sweet?” Ning Xiangrong’s cheeks turned even redder. She could no longer maintain her composure; now she was just like a teenage girl in love.

Liu Yuan thought about it for a while before answering with a serious look, “It doesn’t have any taste, but every inch of your body smells so good.”

He knew best what to say to make the woman happy.

At the Core Formation Stage, she could easily stay away from dust in the air. Furthermore, as an immortal cultivator, her body had been thoroughly cleansed, so she was literally emitting some faint, natural fragrance all over her body.

Ning Xiangrong steadied herself and softly snorted, “You have such a glib tongue…”

Liu Yuan replied with a meaningful smile as he put down the table cloth, sat on a stool and poured himself a cup of tea.

Ning Xiangrong didn’t understand why he suddenly smiled at first. Then she suddenly remembered what they had been doing before Gu Siyin came, and thus the phrase “glib tongue” sounded a bit suggestive.

Ning Xiangrong again blushed and puffed up her cheeks. She walked over and poured herself a cup of tea as well, “You are teasing me all the time. You!”

She was being so adorable and sweet that one could hardly relate her to the previous apathetic woman.

Liu Yuan held her hand and softly squeezed it, “Shall we pick up where we left off?”

Had Gu Siyin not come tonight, he would have no longer been a virgin. He had the very first kiss in his life with Ning Xiangrong, and now, in his heart of hearts, Ning Xiangrong was his first love.

Although Gu Siyin was also a keeper, she was way too young for him — even though she had reached the minimum age of marriage, she was still too young for Liu Yuan.

Call him old-fashioned. Even if he had transmigrated into another world, he still stuck to his own principles and values.

Besides, he wasn’t lying about the Vital Yin. Preserving the Vital Yin, or virginity, would be very useful to her cultivation.

At the normal cultivation speed, it would take her two to three years.

Ning Xiangrong gave him a slap on the hand and said, “Now I’m going to set some snakes loose. After all, I’ve made the excuse, and I will have take care of it.”

Liu Yuan withdrew his hand in embarrassment. It was his own fault he couldn’t spend the night with her — he was asking for it.

A snake that dared to bite an immortal cultivator! That was surely going to cause a commotion in the manor.

Ning Xiangrong could see that Liu Yuan was very disappointed. After thinking for a while, she said in a low voice, “How about you help me change my clothes. My… my foot still hurts…”

But actually he had bit on her foot so gently that the bite mark couldn’t even be seen by now. So how could it still hurt?

She was clearly seducing him.

Liu Yuan’s mind went blank as he swallowed the tea in his mouth and told himself that he must stay calm instead of rushing into anything.

“Just follow my lead…”

Ning Xiangrong’s voice was as soft as a feather, tickling his ears.

There was no way he could stay sane in this situation, despite his current advanced cultivation level.

Anyway, by the time Ning Xiangrong was dressed and left the room, about half an hour had passed.

No one knew what had happened in the room during this half an hour.

Liu Yuan returned to his room to continue his cultivation. The Jade Void Canon in his mind was emitting a faint golden light. He had specially picked a painting on “Silence” which proved very effective in calming his mind.

He had found that the Experience Scrolls that Xie Qian had given him had many other uses apart from speeding up one’s cultivation, though most of them were supplementary and thus useless in actual battles.

Perhaps there were more powerful scrolls, but Xie Qian did not give them to him.

Liu Yuan wondered if he should make another trip to the Xie Residence and ask for more scrolls, better ones.

The next day in the morning, Liu Yuan had hardly opened his eyes when there was a knock on the door.

He opened the door, and it was Ning Xiangrong.

“Good morning, Rong Rong.” Liu Yuan greeted her with a smile.

Ning Xiangrong blushed again and held his hand, “Morning? It’s almost noon! Hurry and get ready! Let’s go to the main hall and say goodbye to Master Gu first. And then we will head to Water Moon Dock.”

When they reached the main hall, Gu Feidao and Gu Siyin were already there. Beside them stood He Ren the butler, Ma Shu and Xue Zhui.

He Ren was right in the middle of reporting to his master the news of poisonous snakes in the manor last night.

Liu Yuan paused, and Ning Xiangrong gave him a pinch. Of course they were the only ones who knew what really happened.

Liu Yuan walked up and bowed to Master Gu. When he passed by Ma Shu, the latter quickly slid a piece of paper into his hand.

It read:

“5 PM the day after tomorrow, by the side of Moon Reflection Pond in Water Moon Dock, bring Xue Zhui along.”
