[Road to Bronze Rank]

It has been more than two weeks since I began to receive magic guidance from Noelia.

“Oh, Frick-san, hello~. You’re already done for today?”

“Huh? You’re not with Noelia-sama today?”

When entering the Adventurer’s Guild, younger adventurers who became iron rank adventurers together with me when I first came to Youg Hannotes called out to me.

Looking at their appearance as beginner adventurers, I overlap them with myself when I went to the royal capital together with Alfine to become an adventurer.

5 years ago, I felt like that as well, right…

I was forced to buy a new sword as a proof of my promise and I had no money, so I remember going around the second-hand shops without being able to buy a new armor and wearing a torn leather armor.

It seems that the mage girl was looking forward to Noelia’s lectureーwho has been showing up her face in the Adventurer’s Guild lately to give me magic lectureー.

Is that the reason why young mages were hanging out in the waiting room of the Adventurer’s Guild these days?

It is true that Noelia’s lecture is easy to understand, she explains the magic effect well, and supplements the imagination necessary when activating.

I wanted to raise my rank to bronze this month, increase the number of requests that I can receive, and secure my incomes.

Noelia, who became my magic teacher, has also offered her assistance.

Also, even though I have broke up with Alfine, I would like to gradually save funds to realize the dream I was trying to fulfill as an adventurer.

It may take a while because I have to adjust after I start over, but I will continue to work towards the realization of my dream.

“Seriously! At this rate you really will become a bronze rank within a month. Even though I can only do one request in a day at best. Frick-san, seriously, ackー.”

“Because I became able to use magic, so this much is easy. If I only use a sword, this much will be impossible y’know.”

I was taught various magic from Noelia, and now I am able to master attack magic with various attributes.

Thanks to this, I was able to handle a large number of battles with a fairly small burden, and I was able to achieve the subjugation record faster than planned.

From the perspective of the warrior, my sword skill seems amazing.

The young warrior boy return his tableware and left the Adventurer’s Guild waiting room.

When I was seeing him off, Rebecca called me from the counter.

“Frick-san, please come to the counter quickly. If you are there, everyone will be shy and the counter will be crowded later.”

The number of people who talked to me casually like the young adventurers just before had increased, but the veteran people seemed to be still scared of me as usual, and they were watching the situation from a distance.

Thanks to that, I’ll have to go through the line of the adventurers who returned after finishing their work till Rebecca’s counter.

I slipped through the divided human waves, then I put my bag on Rebecca’s counter and sat down on the seat.

While chatting with me, Rebecca was counting the amount while appraising the monster loot, which is a proof of the subjugation request, from the bag placed on the counter.

“ーThe Magic Swordsman Frick is dangerous, so we shouldn’t be involved with himー, that seems to be the view of the veteran adventurers. Although you are popular among the young beginner children. And the Adventurer’s Guild has received order from the Frontier Count-sama, so we can’t put restriction on Frick-sama’s action.”

So I was treated as a dangerous guy, huh…it makes sense as to why the veteran looking adventurers won’t meet my eyes.

As for magic, I thought that I could make something that fits the actual battle, so I made trial and error in the midst of it.

Therefore, it is true that sometimes unexpected magic were formed though.

“I-, is that so…this is the first time I heard of that. I thought I was avoided though.”

“Well~, everyone could tell Frick-sama’s real ability at the first glanceー, that’s what they said y’know. Because for adventurers, real ability is everything, right~. Yes, the amount confirmation is over. We will keep it for price assessment, so the reward will be paid tomorrow.”

Rebecca, who finished checking the quantity, presented the receipt and laughed smilingly.
