Chapter 21 - Kneel Down and Apologize if You Lose

Chapter 21 Kneel Down and Apologize if You Lose

“Say that again.

11

Fran coldly looked at Song Wei.

One could say that he was poor or useless, but why did he bring up everyone in the slums? They were all people who worked hard to survive, not the so-called lowlifes that these people said!

“Lowly commoner! You’re just a lowly commoner! I’m warning you, stay away from Alina, or else don’t blame me for being impolite!”

Song Wei arrogantly nudged Fran, trying to pull Alina. His hand was pushed away by Fran before he could even touch her.

“What do you think you’re doing!”

Seeing that he had lost face to a freshman, Song Wei was instantly flustered and exasperated. No one had dared to touch him back at the Canglan Academy, and he was now a Level 20 low-ranked swordsman!

“I don’t want to do anything. I just want to remind you that Alina doesn’t like to be touched.”

Fran wasn’t afraid of the arrogant senior in front of him.

“Kid, let me tell you. New students should keep a low profile, otherwise…”

“Otherwise what? You’ll hit me?”

Fran raised his eyebrows and looked at Song Wei.

He couldn’t wait for someone to challenge him so that he could see how far his strength had progressed.

These few days were also the day for the new students to register at the Canglan Academy. The two of them were making a scene at the gate, and soon attracted a lot of students coming and going.

“Song Wei, don’t make things difficult for Fran. We’ll all be classmates in the future.”

Seeing the two of them at daggers drawn, Alina was afraid that Fran would be at a disadvantage in Song Wei’s hands, so she quickly stopped him. But Song Wei had lost face in front of these people, so he naturally wouldn’t let it go. His goddess was speaking up for that lowlife, which made Song Wei even angrier. If he didn’t teach this new student a lesson today, he would not be called the boss of the Canglan Academy for nothing!

“Hey! That new student, do you dare to fight me? If you lose, you’ll have to kneel down and apologize to me in front of everyone. How about it?”

Song Wei took the initiative to challenge Fran.

Today, in front of everyone, he would let all the new students see clearly that this was the outcome of offending him, Song Wei! Although he was facing a piece of trash who couldn’t

change his class, Song Wei didn’t mind using him to boost his prestige!

“Good! But if you lose, senior, you have to kneel down and apologize to Alina and me in front of everyone.”

Hearing Fran’s words, Song Wei laughed. Is this kid still daydreaming? A piece of trash who had not changed his class still wanted to fight me? And he even tries to win against me? Is he delusional?

When the surrounding people heard that the

freshman had agreed to fight with Song Wei, they all sucked in a breath of cold air. That was a low-grade Level 20 swordsman!

Besides, the school didn’t explicitly state that in-fighting was not allowed. On the contrary, the Canglan Academy was very supportive of students sparring with each other. As long as they didn’t make a big deal out of it, no one would stop them once the fight started. In other words, unless one side beat the other until they were almost dead, the school teachers would not come out to stop them. However, if he was beaten half to death by a Level 20 swordsman, he would probably be crippled in the future!

If he was really crippled, the only outcome would be to be expelled by the school. At most, the other party would be fined with some compensation! Everyone felt that this freshman’s brain wasn’t normal. He wanted to

challenge a senior on his first day. He was

simply overestimating himself!

On the side, Alina also pulled at Fran. “Fran,

you’re not his match. He’s a Level 20 swordsman. You’re not on the same level as

him.”

Song Wei was two years older than them, and he had also joined Canglan after graduating from Olly Academy.

The outstanding ones who emerged from tens

of millions of students were not weak. Even the seniors of the same batch did not dare to challenge each other easily.

“It’s fine. Since it’s a request from senior, how

can I not agree?”

Fran put down his backpack and put some distance between him and Song Wei. This battle was inevitable. Even if he entered

the school with his identity, it would become a fuse sooner or later. Instead of being guided by others in the future, he might as well use Song Wei to cement his identity in school now! “Very good, you brat. Just wait for your death!”

Song Wei snorted coldly. He admired the brat’s courage.

However, this was the only time this kid could

run his mouth in his life! Later on, he would definitely let this kid know what kind of person a senior was in this school!

“Who’s that new student? Why is he so arrogant? He even dared to be so arrogant to

Song Wei.”

A few students, who were dressed in the same

sky-blue academy uniform as Song Wei, with a pale-blue emblem pinned on their chest, squeezed through the crowd. When the surrounding freshmen saw this, they hurriedly and respectfully called out “senior” and made way for them.

The few of them nodded in satisfaction and

stood in the inner circle of the spectator area

with peace of mind. They could see the battle

between the freshmen and the seniors more directly.

“He’s wearing a Medal of Honor on his chest.”

A sharp-eyed boy with curly black hair saw the Medal of Honor Fran was wearing.

“Oh! It was that Olly Academy’s first place

student who couldn’t change classes! It seemed like… He’s from the slums, but the girl beside him is quite pretty.”

The senior in the lead sneered. This was the first time he heard that someone who couldn’t change their class could get first place in the final exam and even get an honor badge. “Yes, it’s him. However, I heard that his Medal

of Honor was personally awarded by Sir Haplos. Is he really that powerful?”

The boy with curly black hair looked at Fran,

who was almost dressed like a beggar in comparison.

“Whether or not he is, I don’t know if Song Wei

will beat him up until he is disabled for life.”

The senior in the lead crossed his arms and looked at the field in disdain.

He had heard of this Fran before. Because he couldn’t change classes, he had learned all sorts of low-level skills and was usually at the

bottom of the class. On the day of the exam, he had used his skills randomly and had accidentally taken first place.

He looked down on such opportunistic people

the most. The students of Canglan were all real talents! For someone like him who had sneaked

in, he would probably die in the first round of the test!

“That’s true. It’s a good time to set the rule for

the new students. If they don’t listen, they’ll be beaten!”

The few of them even looked at each other and

smiled. When they first entered the school, they had

also been taught a lesson by their seniors. Now that it was their turn to be seniors, they naturally had to let their juniors experience it! “Take this!”

Song Wei shouted, and an iron sword immediately appeared in his hand, and he used

a horizontal slash skill. A sharp sword aura

flew towards Fran’s face.

“Hey!”

The leading senior shouted towards the center

of the field. Fran looked over and saw an iron sword flying towards him.

Fran grabbed the sword and blocked Song

Wei’s attack with the hilt. He then gathered his skills and mimicked Song Wei’s horizontal slash.

Song Wei was forced back three steps by the

sword aura. He was shocked. This kid actually had such great strength! He then turned to look at the senior in the lead with dissatisfaction.

“What do you mean by that!”

The senior called Duwell spread his hands helplessly. “It must be a fair competition. Otherwise, it’ll be hard to convince the public.”
