Chapter 228 - Losing Control –2

'Home?' Jade frowned slightly when he said that. She didn't want to go home.

"Now?" She asked him

"Why? You don't want to go?" Jake asked back, while Jade shook her head, indicating she didn't want to.

"I don't want to go home now. I want to stay with you like this" She pouted as she fiddled with the button of his shirt, with a sad look on her face.

Jake sighed when he saw her behave like that. He also didn't want her to go at least not yet, but she had to, that was the only way he could refrain himself from touching her right now, or make a move on her and he also had to talk with his grandfather tonight.

"But you know you have to. Your mom will be worried, and I still have to impress her don't forget that" He told her but that made her sadder.

"I'm an adult. I can stay out late, I'm sure she won't complain" She pressed on, snuggling closer to him. She wrapped her hand around him and placed her head on his chest, making him crane his neck so he could place his chin on top of her head.

"But don't forget you still live under her roof, and as such you can't act as you wish. And we can do anything you want in the nearest future. You'll have me all to yourself" He tried soothing her, but she stubbornly shook her head, despite the fact that she liked the word 'nearest future'. Jake closed his eyes and took a deep breath. His girlfriend was very sensible and understanding, but he doesn't know what had suddenly happened to her.

"Baby do you know you're becoming clingy?" He asked. Jade suddenly pulled away and looked at him.

"You don't want me to be clingy with you? Is that why you want me to go home? because I'm being too clingy? Don't you want to be clingy with me?" Jade asked from one question to another. Jake couldn't help but kiss her to shut her up. No matter how strong and intelligent this girl was, there was still a huge baby seated inside of her. He pulled away and cupped her face with his hand.

"Honey I love you no matter what you do, clingy or not. But you know I'm only doing this for our sake. You don't want your mother to scold me right? And you need to rest, since you'll have to go to work tomorrow, okay?" He said as he gave her lips a quick kiss, making Jade nod her head.

"But can't we stay here for few more minutes. I'll miss you all week –"

Jake's brows furrowed in confusion. "Why all week? You don't want to see me all week?" He asked confusedly.

"I want to see you, but you have issues to resolve at work, and I want you to focus on that. We'll see each other by weekend, when you have less issues on your mind, and you can take me on that date" She reasoned.

Jake couldn't believe what she was saying right now. Spending two days without seeing her or talking to her has been troublesome, and she had gotten angry at him. Now she was the one suggesting something like this?

He couldn't believe it.

He looked at her in disbelief. "You're joking" He wasn't asking her, he was telling her.

"Does it look like I'm joking" She asked rhetorically. "Babe you need the time to fix this" Her babyish voice was disappearing and had now turned normal.

"No, I don't" His brows narrowed involuntarily, a frown forming on his face.

Jade knew he didn't like the idea, neither did she. But he needed the time to create that virus and do whatever needs to be done. "You don't have to look grumpy. We'll talk over the phone. Just don't try turning it off, or else I'll demand for your blood" She threatened mockingly, but Jake wasn't smiling. He was frowning at her.

Jake looked at her with great intensity, before hissing exasperatedly. "I don't like this" He confessed. He didn't like this one bit. He knew she was making sense, but he still didn't like it. He didn't want to stay the whole week without seeing her. This was just Monday, and weekend felt like a century away.

"I don't like this either Mr Jake, but responsibility comes first, remember?"

"You're my responsibility too. It's my responsibility to kiss you, hug you...." He paused and looked at her with suspicious eyes. "You don't want that again? You've gotten your fill of me right?" He asked accusingly.

Now he was the one acting like a baby. "Of course I want all that, and that's why i want us to stay together a bit more. So I won't get to miss you right away" She told him.

So that was why she was reluctant about going home. She had it all figured out, not thinking about him for a while. Well she was literally doing this for him, but he didn't want to see things that way.

Jade brushed her hand through his hair, her eyes lingering on his lips for a while before she leaned in to kiss him, as she nugded closer to his body till he couldn't help but fall back on the bed and she fell along side with him, till she was lying completely on his broad chest.

She was slightly startled when Jake fell backwards to the bed. They longingly stared at each other. Their gaze locked and piercing.

Jade fluttered her eyes a few times and she licked her bottom lips with her tongue, before surprisingly swallowing his mouth with hers. Jake's eyes widened when his girlfriend did all this. He wasn't embarrassed or something, it was just that, this was the first time she was taking the initiative to kiss him first, and she was straddling him. Jake's head was blank at the moment and his hand was hanging mid air, not sure where he should put.

Jade pulled away from his lips when he didn't kiss her back. She looked at with confused eyes, why wasn't he kissing her back? Was he still angry over what she said?

Jade was about to say something when Jake suddenly flipped her over, swapping positions with her making a gasp escape her mouth. His eyes looked at her oven blue eyes eyes before falling on her soft and lupscious lips.

"Jade Peterson you're really pushing me" He said in a smooth and soft tone, before descending on her lips heavily. Jade wrapped her hands around his neck and pulled him down so that he could have more access to her mouth, as she also arched her head upward so he could kiss her with no abandon.

His kiss made her go limp and white in her brain. Jake continued to kiss her hungrily like he was desperate to have drink from the well hidden in her mouth, fiercely exploring every inch of her mouth as she returned the favor. His hand slowly roaming around her hips, and and her arm.

He pulled away from her lips, leaving them gasping for breath. Without giving her much time to catch her breath, he started planting feathery kisses on her neck, and slowly moved to the sensitive part of ear, making moan.

Jade let out a sensual moan from her mouth and it sounded like music to Jake's ears making him to deepen his kiss on her neck. He lowered his head a little bit and he placed a kiss on her chest, his hands now moving almost all over her body.

"Jake" Jade called out softly, which halted Jake's actions. He suddenly lowered his head as he tried to hide his face in the crook of her neck.

"I'm sorry" He apologized in a low voice as he still did not look at her. She knew he was feeling embarrassed for acting like that with her.

"Jake, look at me" She said in a calm voice but the man shook ligthly shook his head. She sighed and pulled his face up with her hands, but he lowered his eyes not to look at her. But she stubbornly lifted it up till he was staring at her eyeball to eyeball. His eyes were dark and full of desires, desires he badly wanted to control he has almost lost control for a minute there.

Like they say, a leopard can never lose its spot.

He had never brought a woman to a bed and had not had sex with her. It seems his debauched nature was still inside of him.

"Hey, it's alright" She said softly.

"I'm sorry. I should have–" His words trailed off when Jade interjected with a peck on his lips. "Just shut up" she ordered, and Jake immediately nodded his head obediently.

"Can I take you home now?" He asked, and Jade nodded her head affirmatively. "Yes"
