"You know you really won't be able to leave if you don't let go of my sleeve right?" Amber helplessly said.

They are currently at the airport at City B. Ashley and her parents are about to leave. It has been another week since she woke up and just one more week and school will be starting.

The cast on her leg will be removed before school starts, the damage there wasn't as serious. The one on her arm would remain for another month or so.

Ashley still didn't speak nor did she let go of Amber's sleeve.

Amber could only sigh before she squat down to be on the same level as Ashley.

"What is it, brat?"

She was then shock when Ashley suddenly kissed her on the cheek.

"Thank you really for everything and... I hope you would visit us as well," she finally spoke but her eyes were not even looking at Amber's face.

With a smile, "I can't really visit you now but wait for another three to four years, then I shall be staying in the same city you are staying at."

"You promise?"

She had come to like Amber even more, after spending their days in the mansion for another week. Compared to those young ladies who only knows how to act and be white lotuses, Amber was natural. She laughs, get's mad, be sad, she shows everything she feels at the moment.

And Ashley was much more at ease towards her.

"What's this? Will you be missing me brat?"

"Wha- No, but you were just a good companion, viscious woman," Ashley replied as she finally looked at Amber and smiled.

"I promise okay? I'll just finish my studies and all. Be careful, we still don't know what could be the side effect of the medicine on you, if there is any."

Ashley nodded in response.

"Ashley, we have to go now," Liana called as she and Kyle approach them.

"Ashton will be staying for another year, atleast to finish his studies that he started here. Please check on him for us," she then said to Amber before hugging her.

"I understand, I shall do just that," Amber replied before hugging Liana back.

She was already engaged to Ashton, so she had also spent more time with his family to get acquainted with each other. And they somehow became closer.

"Take care of yourself as well," Liana added after letting her go.

"Take care, Amber," Kyle said on the side.

"Take care too sir."

"Bye bye Ashley."

"Bye bye elder sister," Ashley smiled before following her parents.

Amber smiled at the way she called her begfore going outside of the airport and got in the car that was waiting outside.

"You didn't even bother saying goodbye to your family," she then said looking at Ashton who was sitting already at the car.

"What for, I'll see them in another year and I can always contact them," Ashton replied before closing his eyes, leaning on the head rest.

Amber's lips twitched before she just sat still and looked outside the window, 'Cold jerk.'

The drive was silent, it was after all an eight hour one. They would just stop at a rest stop to eat before continuing on their journey.

Amber who was boredly browsing her phone suddenly sat up straight after seeing a news.

~New resort to be built in the middle of two mountains and overlooking the ocean.~

When she looked outside she noticed they were already on the curve before that place. She nervously waited and upon seeing that the place was cordoned.

"CARL STOP THE CAR!!"

She shouted causing Ashton who was sleeping to abruptly wake up as Carl pressed on the break. It was a bit too fast that the car made a screeching sound. It's just good that there were only them in the road.

"What the hell is your problem?"

Ashton was irritated but she didn't care, she went out of the car and walked to that hill.

~No Entry. Private Property.~

She held the notice as her hands started trembling.

"Amber get back here, we have to return. What are you doing there?"

Ashton was already out of the car as well.

Amber turned around and walked to his side, she suddenly grabbed his collar and when she looked up, he was taken a back.

"Stop that renovation. You have to stop that construction."

She was crying, the first time he had seen her do. Her eyes were also showing great sadness.

"How can I do that?"

"You can, this is a small country where your family has great power with. You have to stop that, no one must touch that place," she continued as she held his collar tighter.

Carl didn't know what to do, he didn't know whether to pull her away from the young master or to get back in the car and let them talk on their own.

Ashton sighed seeing how stubborn she looks, he held her little hands that was grabbing his collar and with a sigh, "What is it? What is that place to you? Didn't you just come here? Or do you have plans for that place, yourself?"

"You know why, you checked on me right? The reason why you knew I was the daughter of those who made a promise to your family. SO YOU SHOULD KNOW WHY THIS PLACE IS IMPORTANT TO ME!!"

She let him go as she fall on her knees, kneeling in front of him.

Ashton looked back to the hill and noticed the tree with damage.

Carl too did the same and realized that this was the stop where the supposed car have hit into but also disappeared.

"Let them sleep in peace. Let them sleep longer in peace," she cried as she covered her face.

She was still of course hurting, who wouldn't? Her parents just died more than a month ago. Who said she was already fine? No one would and no one will ever be.

Seeing her cry, Ashton looked at Carl and signalled him. Understanding his meaning Carl went away to make a call.

"Stand up now, we will make sure to get it. Are they here then? Are they sleeping on top of that hill?" he bent over and helped her up.

Amber could only nod, she was always crying but on her own. She never wanted anyone to see her cry and make them worry or to show how weak she truly is. But right now, due to the fear that their slumbering place would be turned into a resort.

And that their bodies might be unearthed, and those people would know that what they have are clones. Then the fact that they will take them away, taking away their chance to sleep in peace.

She could no longer stop herself from crying.

Ashton sighed as he pulled her close and carressed her back, "You should have said this sooner, you should have included this in the contract. What if you didn't know the construction and by the time you found out it was already too late?"

He was reprimanding her as he tried to let her calm down. It's not that he was weak to tears but the moment he met her until now, he always see her with her goofy smile and a few glimpses of her cold and ruthless demeanor.

The way she cries now, it was obvious how much she was suffering. In the end she was still a young girl with a fragile heart.

"I was always on watch for this place to be put on sale. But I didn't see it, instead when I found news about it, it was already sold," she cried more as she grabbed unto his shirt.

Carl walked up and nodded at him.

"Stop crying now, since we're already here why don't you visit them?"

He pulled out a handkerchief and gave it to her, she was still sniffing as she nodded and took his handkerchief to wipe her tears.

The reason why she didn't notuce this a while ago was because she actually fell asleep and by the time she woke up they have passed through here.

She couldn't ask them to turn around after all.

The two of them walked up the hill on her lead. She pushed away a few bushes and was able to reach the place where she burried her parents. The place was also overlooking the road below and the ocean that was calm compared to back then.

Ashton saw two hand made signs, what was written were initials.

N.P. and S.P.

"When I burried them here, it was raining really hard and it was very difficult to dig, I only have my hands and some woods after all. It was not six feet but I was able to dig atleast three fit," she started speaking as she squat down and touched the soil.

"I was actually scared that the rain would wash away the soil, but it seems that I was able to do it properly."

She looked up at him, "I'm amazing right?"

Ashton pulled her up and hugged her, "It's fine, I know your parents are very happy and proud of you."

He was not entirely a cold person who wouldn't even feel a thing to what she says even more so because she was his fiance now.

He couldn't imagine how painful and arduous would that must be, her small stature and the heavy rain. The fact that her parents had just died and she is the one who must burry them. He couldn't imagine how much in pain she was.

Amber once again cried in his embrace, everything that was still bottled up inside her, she poured it all out.
