32 Properly And Diligently

Ashton soon arrived at an underground facility of the police in Star Country, City A.

"The man have woken up a few minutes ago," the current captain in the city respectfully informed him.

They were utterly shock to find out that the young master of Wright Empire was actually in their city for so long, yet no news have arrived to them.

Upon knowing that the young man have fired a gun, they were displeased for he had killed the possible leads for the people behind the kidnapping case.

If Carl didn't came up first to them and showed them proof of their identity, they would have tackled the young man who weilded the gun and brought him to the police.

They couldn't help but to break into cold sweat at the consequence of their actions if the informant was just a bit late.

They also knew that additional to the last kidnapper, four other men were brought in. They then found out that these men were hired to watch over the young miss, but they became negligent and the young miss have fallen into the hands of those people.

The captain also heard that it was a teenage girl who rescued the young mistress but was badly battered by the kidnappers. But she was also the one who gave a clean hit to the man in their custody.

"I will meet those men first," Ashton replied without emotion.

He was not exuding coldness or what but instead his whole being was devoid of emotion. As for Carl, he knew full well that this is the maximum of Ashton's anger, Ashley was the one person he vowed to protect. And these people didn't actually do their jobs.

The door to the room opened and inside sat four men in suits, they were sitting on one side as they look at the new arrivals. They were taken in after about an hour of the kidnapping of the person whom they are supposed to guard.

Ashton looked at their faces, their eyes and their body movement before turning around, "Strip them off of everything, make sure no one is to employ them ever again. In every job there is. Make sure that even their families were dragged down by them. Each person that has the same blood as they are."

That's all and he left the room. The men were baffled they had no idea who that person was. They knew they were negligent but isn't it that the young miss was safe? And who is he to say that no one would actually hire them? They were one of the sought after bodyguards after all.

Carl seeing that these men weren't even a bit remorseful to what have happened could only shake his head.

"You are complacent aren't you? That despite of what had happened people will still hire you? You think that his words does not weigh anything?" Carl started, he had always have a straight face.

No one could decipher what was on his mind nor could they tell if he was happy or not but right now, even with his straight face just the shift of his eyes sent chills to run down at the back of these four men.

"Indeed you are good. But I wonder if anyone would still dare to look at you once they knew that you have crossed the Wright Empire," with that he turned around and left.

At first the four of them were staring blankly before the words slowly sanked inside them. They just then realized that it was the captain of the police assigned in city A who was with them and he even lookoed like someone trying to curry favor to someone big.

Finally they have realized that this little incident for them was actually the day that their whole family even to the last three generations are cursing them, wanting them dead. And how their lives have entered hell.

Ashton then went to where the kidnapper was, he didn't bother looking or asking him anything. Instead he went and checked his stomach where Amber's punch have landed. With one look he can tell that a damage has happened to his sternum or his breastbone.

With his brows knitted he left the room, he only glanced at Carl before leaving.

The captain was first baffled before following behind him. He was even more baffled that he left the place after just checking the damage that happened to the kidnapper.

Upon returning underground, "I say, what did the young master came here for?"

"He just came to check something. Do you expect him to interrogate this person? The real reason he came was to see those bodyguards," Carl replied no longer giving him attention.

His young master was not some devilish cold person who would just go for the kill. If those guards have shown remorse then their punishment wouldn't be so severe.

Then their family wouldn't be dragged down to the mud with them. But alas they actually chose to act so high and mighty when they were the ones in the wrong.

'At the same time this is what he hated the most. Those who wouldn't follow the order and be laid back just because he was young or he was not that rich.'

If you are being paid to do a job then shouldn't it be right to do it properly and diligently?

The car sped through the street lights, it's already night by the time Ashton left the police facility.

'The damage she had given most certainly didn't come from someone who was either mediocre or a beginner to fighting. And her strength, her built didn't give off such vibe.'

If she was given the chance it's either she would escape with Ashley or she would fight it out with them.

And if she were to fight them, just what kind of scene would he have stumbled upon? This makes her even more interesting.

The corners of his lips slightly curled up upon knowing another thing about her. Just what more can she do? He became even more inclined in knowing how this little one could go on with her revenge.

Then something else came to his mind.

The kidnapping didn't last that long, if not for the side effect of the medicine then surely she would have been able to save Ashley faster than his arrival. That means she had seen Ashley being taken and took action instantly.

But if she followed them closely then they would notice. If she were to follow from afar then she would have lost sight of them because of the color changing.

Then he remembered the day she called him, inquiring about the arrival of his sister. She must have hacked through the CCTV of Fire Empire Hotel. She was also capable on breaching the security he himself made, despite it only being not his full capabilities.

That only leaves to one thing, she had hacked all the CCTVs where that van have passed through. She was able to follow them from afar because she could actually see them from a different point of view.

'For her to hack through all those cameras in such a short time. Just how good was her hand and mind?'

~"Do you know my codename?"~

Her text that baffled him came up to his mind. He just replied without minding it too much. But it seems that the strength she showed is connected to who she was in the programming world.

He glanced at her laptop but then brushed off the idea that just came up. They were not yet in a contract, he could just ask her as well.

They were not that close as well for him to actually check unto her things. Despite his interest being repeatedly piqued he still know his limits in regards to other people's privacy.

He just opened the window to let the summer wind in. It was cold but not too cold, allowing his mind to calm down, even his heart.

In reality upon seeing the looks of the body guards he was boiling inside to the point of wanting to kill them right there and then. It was his younger sister whom they failed to protect and they dare to act as if it was just a little mistake.

But he never wanted to be a coldblooded person who only knows killing as solution. He once had that trait, he ruthlessly killed those guards who was unable to keep 'her' safe. He ruthlessly killed those people who were involved including their family, while some of them had no idea of why they were killed.

And he didn't want to return to that time. Not even his family's voice could reach his ears. Not even Ashley's, luckily Ashley didn't stay away from him in fear, despite everything he had done. The young child did her best to bring back her elder brother.

She was just four back then maybe because of the blood flowing in her that let her stay no matter how cold her brother is.

With a sigh he silently drove back to the mansion.
