Chapter 21 - This Will Be Hard

so Ryjin was heading towards the Central Keep essential its a Mini castle its size is ok can hold at least 25k troops his troops following as Wallace and Eva are beside him he sets his men up to start surrounding the Keep However it seems the enemy troops from the east and west walls where running to the central keep it appears that Lord Roa and Lord Bren intend to barricade them self s in the keep for a Fierce fight to the end or maybe they believe they can win if they hold out long enough.

:Lord Thomas: well its seems the enemy has abandoned the walls so he has his men open the western town gate and he has his men enter and head towards the Keep he see's Ryjin's men return to the south area but still heading in the keeps general direction he just hopes his soon to be son in law is ok and that his Farther is doing well it has been years since his farther last Fought.

:Sir Tom: ??? what is the Lord Roa and Bren doing Pulling back there troops they have practically abandoned the walls but why (Shouts) Rider go to my son and to Ryjin and find out what is happening (Shouts again) Sargent get this wall taken and the gate open have are army enter but be cautious and also Take care not to harm any innocent.

:Ryjin: he notice's his troops return from the east and west now his force is all present Minus the cav that is now his main problem is this damn Keep in front of him its a mini castle he would need to bring all the siege equipment in the town but the towers would not enter there to large ladders are not enough cause we would take Insane losses.

He decide's to have his army set up Camp inside the town he also has his soldiers to Door to Door to tell the peasants to stay in there homes and all will be safe he also had them state if anyone knows a way in the keep coming forward with that Info will be rewarded.

It was now night time and the Keep was Fully surrounded But according to some of the Keeps Servants the keep holds all the towns food so Ryjin knew that the Town people would Starve if they got no food he decides to wait for the morning cause then he shall have more TW wealth and he could buy more Legions and have them come here from his lands with Food in Tow.

The meeting with Ryjin Thomas Tom Wallace and Eva and a few commanders of Thomas was going no where they where all stuck they all came to same conclusion an attack would cost them at least 80% there Total force's and thats something they cant do 70% of the enemy army is mad of men of this town killing them would cause Major dissent in the hearts of the people here we can only try and starve them out but that would take months according to the info they have the food can last at least 2 months for 20k or so troops.

Then Ryjin remembers something something that could win us this Fight by killing only 2 men he remembered the ninja and geisha from shogun total war 2 and also the assassins in all total war games he could buy some of them ninja would be best cause of there ability to get in the castle but it would take at least a day to buy them and then i have to send a rider back home to have them bring the ninja and geisha here that's about 2 days mostly.

He tells Lord Thomas and His farther and all commanders of what he has and that they could kill the 2 enemy lords and we could win this fight with just there 2 deaths the enemy army would surrender then with him saying that it was agreed to try that.

With that all went to sleep as the guards keep a watch on the keep and patrols where sent to keep order in the town so the night was strangely peaceful as the dark of night was soon replaced with the Sunrise slowly the morning was something that was also quiet as if the calm before a storm.

as Ryjin woke up and was excited to summon a ninja of all things he was excited but soon the System poured cold water on him it stated he only had about 200 wealth and a ninja cost 600 and a geisha 2000 Ryjin then said for system to again sell Half his stocked food he gained 1000 and then summoned 2 Hattori Ninja and shouted out his tent for a rider to head back to there land and bring the 2 ninja here and a rider was sent off they would have to wait around another day for them to be here.
