61 Meeting

Name:Time Twister Author:Silent_Dawn
When they entered, their first impression was that the interior of the villa was quite clean, as well as quite modern in terms of design, very singular-color, rather than blends or shades.

The chairs, sofas, and the tables were of one color: White. The staircase leading upstairs was deep brown in color, while the flooring and the walls were light gray and silver in color respectively. They didn't know that Xander merely redecorated it just for them a couple of minutes ago.

Xander gestured them to sit comfortably at the sofa in the living room which the three did.

Xander, still wearing his signature smile, asked them,

"I assume you are here because of my plan to go to Nema tomorrow until next Monday, correct? You were sent here by Great-great-granduncle Veirhardt."

"That's right. You can just call us Amon, Bamon, and Gammon. I'm Gammon, the one on the left is Amon, and the one on the right is Bamon." Gammon responded to Xander's question, introducing themselves to him. Xander smiled and introduced himself as well.

"Ok, now pleasantries are over, you may stay either here in the living room and meditate or whatnot, or stay in the rooms on the first floor. Please, for your safety, do not go to the basement entrance or stay too long on the 2nd floor. There are security measures that are in place, and once you have been detected, well, even I can't stop them from activating. Have a good night." Xander spoke, his voice still calm and warm to the listeners, but the words present did send a hint of alarm to the trio.

Xander headed upstairs and entered his room, where his entire presence was masked, before heading to Eden. He once again spoke to the sprites and magic beasts, as well as played around with some of them. After a few years, he left, returning to his room. Both Sam and Pan were merely 6 days away from becoming Demigods. By next week's Wednesday, he can showcase them out in the world once again.

He then left and headed towards the laboratory, where he checked the situation of the small garden there. He was surprised to see that space seemed more…complete? Could this be attributed to the presence of destruction and creation trees? He looked at the wrinkled, decayed-looking tree between two, lush, humongous trees, that was roughly the same height as the other two. It felt like it was never going to bloom anything, not even leaves, or flowers.

He also noticed that the plants, soil, and the materials he left in the laboratory were slowly being infused by some sort of energy, transforming their very essence. For now, Xander wasn't sure whether this was a good or bad thing.

Should I plant another destruction tree to check if they bear fruits, Xander thought to himself.

After all, the Trees of Creation were already blooming flowers, which made it a possibility that they can produce their own fruits and seeds. He was excited about the development of the trees, and the whole laboratory space itself. He planted another Destruction Seed, this time, besides the first Destruction Seed that he planted. After all, the space between the trees was triangular and the trees' roots and foliage continued to expand outward, creating a picturesque scene.

He left the laboratory, and then headed back to his room, ready for bed. Hopefully, everything will be normal, Xander thought as he went to sleep.

The next morning, Xander woke up very early, and ate food that he had conjured in the "oven", and began eating a scrumptious feast. None of the trio wanted to eat, so Xander had a moment of solitude. After half an hour, he finished up and took a shower, prepared his bag, and headed out of the villa with the three demigods. Instead of taking the car, the three decided to just fly to the closest international airport, which was in Beta province.

He scanned his smartwatch, and underwent security checks and protocols, and was now in the boarding area along with the demigods in less than 10 minutes. After all, he did buy a First class ticket. The other 3 demigods had a free ride and free upgrade to First class like all demigods all over the world. For one, it is for publicity of the airline, and two, they function as added security. After all, there are sometimes mishaps that happen in the middle of the ocean and high up in the sky; sometimes, they might pass by a magic beast that zaps the whole plane, or a flock of magic beasts that begin to attack the windows and the like.

In fact, Xander could have just asked the three to fly him towards Nema, but they might be considered invaders if they did it the unofficial way, causing delay and unnecessary questioning and a waste of time. Also, he wanted to ride an airplane, as he hasn't left the country since he was born (except when he left the planet of course).

He was enjoying himself at the first-class lounge, with a small buffet present. The other three were merely drinking tea and were vigilantly taking watch. He rolled his eyes since basically no one can harm him and ensure he dies permanently. Space-time reversal, anyone? Heck, he can even return to when he was born and start over again if he wanted to.

For the next hour, he was merely eating, playing with his smartwatch, and reading articles online and research papers. Xander checked the time and saw that the plane was going to board in 10 minutes, so he stood up from the sofa and headed to the airline gate. As he was a priority, he was already inside the walking platform and was guided by a nice stewardess to the plane doors, where another stewardess personally escorted Xander and the demigods to their cabins. Xander realized that they were occupying two rows of cabins, with 1 at the back, 2 at my side.

He merely relaxed and connected his smartwatch to the terminal present in his own cabin. He laid down the bed, as soothing, soft music entered his ears. Accordingly, the flight was going to take 21 hours as it was a non-stop flight, so Xander decided to sleep and then wake up 10 hours later to visit Eden. He also instructed the trio that he was going to sleep, and if there were outside disturbances outside the plane, they are free to kill. He also requested them to check up in his cabin if he wasn't awake in 10 hours.

He closed his eyes, and fell into a dark, dreamless state.

It was quite weird to experience being active in one's dreams. I touched my hands, and it feels real, yet I know I am merely sleeping. Yet, as I continue to think, to imagine, the dark, dark dream of mine was slowly filling up with life. Plants of various species all over the planets he had visited, exotic animals and insects growling and chirping, making their own unique sounds in my dream. I see my home, floating in an enormous, well-defined rock. In just a blink, I appear on the top of the rock, and a magnificent castle of my design appeared.

Dead-end stairways, multiple circular paths, and dead-ends, as well as eternal spires, never reaching the top floor. Inverse walkways, places with no gravity, and even doors leading to other worlds were all around the building.

He headed straight to the throne room, where he sat in the golden throne, yet no one was beholden to him. This was what he wanted, however.

He wanted solitude but can never reach it because his entire being is focused on being interrelated to one another.

He wanted no ties, but he cannot get rid of them because of the love and care he has for his family and friends.

All he can do now, is just persevere. Persevere to reach an unreachable goal.

At this, Xander felt enlightened, as if something was awakening inside his mind, his heart, his life essence. This feeling… the Mind series? Huh, I didn't expect this breakthrough. I wonder how high his comprehension is now for the Life-Death elements.

It is now at 25%.

Damn it, system, you scared the hell out of me! This is a dream, and you can still communicate with me?

Affirmative. We are bound to one another, thus I learn and grow alongside you.

Huh. Cool. Cool cool.

I shook my head, before attempting to do something exciting: Dream-hopping. I wonder who should be my target? Anyone whose asleep, most likely. Let's check the dreams around me.

I moved up, up and up into the misty clouds, leaving my own dream and seeing countless dream bubbles appear in my eyes. All of them had their own unique color and shape, as well as size and density. He immediately headed to the closest one to him, and was surprised to see himself in a… sex dungeon?

What.the.hell. He looked around and saw the figure of a man, being whipped silly, and yet he kept moaning. The one whipping him were two people, one male, and one female. When he came closer, he saw the face of the man strapped and was embarrassed to stay any longer and left the dream.

Damn, I never knew one of my seniors had that kind of taste. Oh well, to each of their own. He headed to another dream, this time it was all blue. It felt cool, calming, and relaxing before I realized the whole dream bubble was an ocean.

I didn't need to breathe in a dream, nor follow physics, so I made myself walk inside the water, searching who was the dreamer. After a while, I still couldn't find the dreamer, so I left. Little did I know, the moment I left, a figure began shimmering in the ocean, revealing a dainty girl, with a look of puzzlement.

"Strange, who was that dream walker? I haven't seen or heard of such a person that looked so young. Maybe a newly-awakened one? Hmm, I should report this to the association." The girl mumbled, before continuing her endless diving.

I, on the other hand, got tired and returned to my dream. Upon returning to my dream, I wondered if the absolute defense mechanism also works here. I asked the system about it, who responded,

The dream plane is considered as a dimension. Absolute defense spell should work properly here.

Upon hearing the affirmative answer, I began to twist the dream bubble of mine, fortifying and manipulating the area to the point that no one can enter or leave easily, besides myself. My dream bubble was now surrounded by the same multi-phasing, multi-layered dimensional barrier my life essence doll was surrounded with.

What I was worried, however, was that someone proficient in dream-walking may be able to twist the rules of space-time and enter through that gap. However, I managed to solve this by applying a bit of the [Origin Universe] spell's power around the dream bubble, subjecting it to the rules of the semi-independent space, but not really in a semi-independent space.

In other words, I just isolated my dream bubble from the rest of the dream dimension's rules, but still allowed a 2-way connection that would ensure that I would wake up in my own dream bubble, and exit to the dream dimension. However, if someone attempted to enter my dream bubble, hehe, they can only hope to get out safely. They would literally be subjected to my whims.

After 10 hours, Xander woke up, like clockwork. He was feeling refreshed, rather than tired, even if all he did in his dreams was renovating the whole dream bubble and not relaxing.

He checked the time and stopped playing the music in the terminal, and changed it to play Metflix shows.

While it was playing in the background, he headed to Eden, where once again, he collected some fruits of the sentient plants he had planted, talked with the sprites and magic beasts, as well as added more books and documents into the libraries. For the past millennia, the beings in Eden were starting to write their own books, papers, and reports, and has been submitting them into the libraries for storage as well.

He played with Sam and Pan, who seemed to have matured in the past 500 thousand years that they have been staying here. They still acted childish when he was around, but they were beginning to show dominance and leadership towards the sprites and magic beasts.

He noticed that most of the time, sentient beings were left alone, in their own devices. No one was stopping them from entering the libraries and gaining knowledge, but no one was also inviting them proactively.

Concerning the diversity of the species, luckily no new species had emerged for the past 500 thousand years, indicating his rule of "dominant" trait will be the one produced rather than mixed. He didn't want too much diversity in the ecosystem because it would then become overtly overcomplicated, and over-reliant to one another. Of course, this only applies to Magic beasts and animals/insects in general.

He took one last check around the Trees of Life, seeing the flowers starting to close and beginning to show a bulge, indicating the fruit development was on its way. It took 300+ thousand years for them to bloom, I wonder how long it would take to form the fruits, Xander wondered.

He exited and appeared in his cabin once again, where he continued to watch Metflix for the next few hours while eating the served dinner. According to the time, there were 6 more hours until the flight reached its destination, so he spent some time reading up information about Nema. He checked his smartwatch and accessed the database for Nema, and began scrolling through their servers.

For the past 6 hours, he had seen assassination reports, persons of interest, state projects, and secret programs, as well as the data they have obtained from the Ruins they excavated in their country. They also had in the database information concerning the clans and conglomerates in their country, as well as their respective leaders. Xander was quite surprised that there were joint projects between Eta and Nema, even though they were competing with one another and would be at war a few hundred years later.

He checked the window camera and saw from his cabin the aerial view of a portion of Nema. It was quite grand, with the sun high up in the sky. The temperature right now in Nema was actually 10 degrees Celsius, which made it quite convenient to wear light clothing.

It was 1:30 PM, and the plane landed safely on the ground and docked quickly. As they were leaving, the pilots and the stewardesses were all saluting the three demigods with Xander, with looks of reverence and relief present. He then eyed the trio, in which Bamon just shrugged his shoulders in response. Xander rolled his eyes and headed to the automated immigration counter reserved for first-class passengers.

The process took around an hour, with most of the time being delayed by the three demigods. While they were being processed, Xander initiated a call to Professor Lindhart.

"Hello, Mr. Cloverfield."

"Hello, Professor Lindhart. I've just landed in Nema, and I'm planning to go to your university tomorrow. Is that alright with you?"

"Not a problem at all, Mr. Cloverfield. I hope customs didn't have any problems with you transporting these materials?"

"Nope, none at all. See you tomorrow, professor."

"Alright, see you as well."

Xander ended the call, just in time to see the trio finishing the immigration processing.

The four people headed out and headed to one of the properties the Cloverfields had in the country, taking around 15 minutes by maglev-car to reach. It resembled his own villa in Eta, but it had an additional third floor. It was also twice as large as his villa, with a garden, an underground garage, and a training facility in the villa grounds. There was even a large open area swimming pool.

Xander placed his bags in the room he got, and he went to explore the area. For one, he made the training facility reinforced, using the same alloy that was made in the Galactic Empire, making the training room as good as a bunker and well, almost indestructible below Sage-3 level.

This kind of alloy was hard to make, however, due to the rare materials required. In the Empire, they only use this alloy for certain government buildings and space ships.

Once he refined the training room, he began to modify the whole villa, inserting another layer between the materials of the same alloy, ensuring their hardness and tensile strength. The 10-meter walls and the gate surrounding the villa were modified as well. Afterward, he headed outside and began exploring the city life of Fargrow, one of the 10 largest cities in Nema. He was going on a culinary trip, using the guide he got from browsing the net during his flight.

For the next few hours, all he did was visit different restaurants and eat their respective delicacies, recording and analyzing the flavors each contained, for future replication. He then headed to one of the Item depositories in Fargrow, wherein he opened an anonymous account and entrusted the items, specifically, the ores required for the mission. After ensuring its security and the necessary requirements to access the account, he left the depository.

Afterward, he also took pictures and hologram videos of the sightseeing areas, sharing it with his account in SeeMe. For some reason, in the past two weeks, he had gained a lot of followers and friend requests from people he didn't personally know of.

The moment he posted the photos, it was basically announcing to people that he was in Nema, and he had left the country of Eta. Just a simple sharing and uploading of photos had caused a stir to so many other people, creating great waves of unrest and opportunity.

He returned to the villa, unaware of this situation until the System alerted him of several conferences being simultaneously held about him. After an hour of watching several conferences and secret meetings, Xander rubbed his eyes, before preparing dinner in the kitchen of the villa. Of course, he just replicated the dishes and began to eat. To be honest, the meetings were all just talking about how to approach him, how to kidnap him, or how to remove him. Quite boring, really, for him.

He also knew that the trio, albeit silent, was following him since he left earlier this afternoon, so he knew he didn't have anything to worry about for his safety.

He headed to his room, passing by a large, antique mirror. He paused, then looked at the mirror for a bit, before using the Purge element. Immediately, a loud scream came out from the mirror, but Xander was unfazed, continuing his release of the element.

"Wait, stop, stop! Agh!"

"Hmm, why would there be a spirit in this mirror? Who are you?" Xander asked while decreasing the intensity of the Purge element, but it was still there.

"I'm a caretaker of the house villa! Can you stop using that element! Oh my god, I'm dying here!" the spirit screamed, obviously in pain.

"Oh really? I know for a fact that this villa was supposed to be empty since I was coming here for the weekend. Anyone would be removed from the premises. Now, who are you, really?"

"Damn it!" The spirit howled, before exploding into bits of light. Of course, Xander already ensured that the space around the mirror is already locked, as well as the dimensions that one can pass were locked as well.

In a few minutes, the spirit appeared once again, his face contorted in agony and looking malevolent, with bloodstains in his chest area, a bloody hole at where his heart was once was. Besides that, that spirit looked fine, his body well defined and trained, and was even well-endowed, seen by the bulging cloth.

This was Xander's first encounter with a half-naked spirit, wearing only ripped clothing covering his nether regions.

Xander, however, wasn't affected much and repeated in a calm, cold tone, "So, who sent you?"
