206 Give the Spotlight to Her 1

Without thinking of any complicating of any complicating things, she sent a response to Nyelle.

'I got it. Let's see each other tomorrow then. As for the time and place, I'll send you another message once I verify my schedule from Sylvan.'

She went to inside the building with a smile on her face not noticing that Vince wasn't following her as he was still giving the final order to Chrysthe on their dinner. Just before she went inside the elevator, Vince was able to catch up and get inside with her. Yve failed to notice that her husband had just barely arrived. When the elevator doors opened at the floor of her office, Sylvan was there waiting for their arrival.

"Mr. Gray and Ms. Yve.." He greeted with a bow to the couple.

"What's with the sudden change in location?" Yve asked.

"The media wanted to get some shots of the Young Madam working in the office as well as to get sneak peek of the newly renovated facilities in our building. I thought the Young Madam will not mind. Besides, it gave me an idea that this might be a good publicity for us which may also bring a positive response in our stock value." Sylvan explained to the couple sensing the bad mood of his Boss.

"I bet I would take that chance. Thank you for the arrangement Sylvan.

Just as the man sighed his relief, a lady wearing Noble's staff uniform came into view.

"Oh, yes. This is Annie. Ms. Maddie sent this to be in charge of your wardrobe for this interview."

"Good evening, Mr. and Mrs. Gray." Annie greeted.

"Good evening."

"This way, please." Annie said.

"Before that, Sylvan can I please have the details for this interview. Yve said with one of her hands waiting for the papers.

As Sylvan had expected so prepared with the information he asked from the staff, he immediately gave the papers to her. With the details at hand, Yve followed Annie to the improvised dressing room.

The producer of the program and the media people who came to the wedding approached Vince. With this encounter, Sylvan took the responsibility to introduce the two parties to each other.

"Thank you accepting this proposal, Mr. Gray. I know that both of you must be feeling tired. I truly appreciate this honor." The producer said with a bow.

"It's my wife who planned all of this and deserves your credit. Right now, I'm the obedient and loving husband. I'll do my best to cooperate. I'll be looking forward to the final output of the interview." Vince said.

Just like that, Yve came out wearing simple yet elegant business attire designed by her mother-in-law.

'As expected of my mom.' Vince thought as he saw how professional and beautiful his wife looks at the moment.

"Now, you're ogling at me, Mr. Gray." Yve said with a satisfied and bragging look on her face.

"Yes, it's my turn now and finally you have just admitted that you ogled at me last time." Vince defended and won once more as his wife blushed in frustration.

"Primo, I think you should stop teasing her." Sylvan whispered to his boss which the latter just smiled and approached his wife.

"You go there now. I promise to behave." Vince promised as Yve tries to calm herself and walks to the crew.

The director gives instructions to Yve and as the rest of the crew follows take the necessary video shots. Yve also went to do the so-called building door showcasing the newly renovated facilities to the artists. This gave the two men to talk to each other.

"Sylvan, I see you have lessened my exposure in this interview." Vince smiled at his subordinate.

"I've always known that you didn't like the spotlight so I decided to focus on the Young Madam." He responded.

"What's the latest news on this group of people who attacked us at the amusement park?" Vince asked.

"Sir, they were hired by amateur people."

"Amateur?"

"Yes. They are trying to harm the Young Madam and you without knowing that you're well adept in this world."

"You mean that they're my enemies in business and tried to hurt us by going dark?"

"Exactly! I believe they're at the ceremony this morning as well."

"Hmm….." Vince replied as he already has an idea on who it might be.

"I already sent the details in your email."

"Thanks for the hard work but always keep your guard up and protect her. Understood?"

"Yes, Sir!" Sylvan raised his hand in salute.

"Vince! It's time for our interview together!!" Yve shouted as she ran towards her husband wearing her new St. Michael uniform.

Vince stared at his wife as he felt the world around him in slow motion. His wife looked younger because of the uniform and amazingly, she emitted a fresh aura which allowed Vince's mind to remember their past when both of them were students in the same university.

Yve is wearing a navy blue blazer uniform. The skirt has even frills and is often called the skater skirt. It wasn't too short or long for her. Instead, the length allowed Yve to showcase her slim and milky smooth skin. As for the inner shirt, it's a white polo shirt with buttons which is covered by a ribbon.

"Vince? Vince to Earth!! Are you listening? Do you hear me?"

"Ahh.. yes…"

"Hmmm…. Caught you once more!! Hahahahahahaha." Yve laughed at him.

"Why are you wearing the uniform?"

"It's in the papers and besides it's not only me who's going to wear the uniform."

"What do you mean?"

"Secret for now. On the other hand, Annie is calling you to change your outfit."

"Why? I found nothing wrong with my clothes. It's actually fitting for an interview."

"Well, Mr. Gray, you have been photographed wearing that suit today. Do you also want your fans to see you wearing the same suit in this interview?"

"I don't care about them."

"I do! So go to Annie now and get yourself a new suit." Yve said and pushed him to Sylvan's office.

To Vince's amusement, he exactly knew who's the other person wearing the uniform when he saw a mannequin with a male's St. Michael Uniform.

"What are you up this time, my dear wife?" Vince asked as he turned his head side to side while approaching the mannequin.

"I'm sorry about this, Mr. Gray." Annie apologized.

"It's fine. But how did you get a hold of this?"

"This young man came bringing that when the Young Madam texted him." Annie explained and pointed to Chrysthe.

"I see you have arrived."

"How's the task I gave you?"

"It's already accomplished. I'm just shocked that the Madam noticed I wasn't here."

"Me, too. It seemed that the day when I need to reveal everything about the CONFERENCE is getting nearer." Vince said which rendered the latter speechless.

"Anyways, go outside now and guard her there. Sylvan is also busy with entertaining the crew."

"Yes, Primo."

Vince walked out the dressing room engrossed in his thoughts of how to lay the cards about CONFERENCE to his wife when the right time comes. He failed to notice his wife whose busy taking candid pictures and videos of him. Yve got worried though when the latter didn't respond.

"Vince is something wrong? Are you mad at me?" She asked.
