156 Press Conference

Vince is now on his way back to the hotel accompanied by Haru and Emika. The meeting was a success and they have completed the dishes Haru will cook and the rings were already chosen. Edward, on the other hand, needs to drop Nyelle back to the base before heading back to the Hotel.

"Vince, can I ask you something?" Emika said.

"Fire away."

"Who is Nyelle to Edward?"

"Owh about that....." Vince didn't directly answer as it was not his position to do so. He glanced at the man beside him and noticed the sadness in his eyes.

Haru has been in love with Emika ever since he met them but when Emika met his cousin, Edward, she had been head over heels with the man. These two are both in a one-sided relationship with the other person not knowing the feelings they keep.

After considering Haru's feelings, Vince answered,

"I don't think I am the right person you should ask about that. Why not try asking Edward yourself?"

"That's why I'm asking you because I can't find the courage to do so." Emika sneered at Vince.

"Well, he hasn't mentioned about it, though." Vince lied as there's no need for his cousin to voice out his feelings.

As soon as they arrive at hotel, Haru headed to his room to get ready for the dishes he needed to cook for the couple. Not noticing the sour mood of the man, Emika went on with exploring the hotel. Vince, on the other hand, went to his suite where his Queen is preparing for the press conference as what Sylvan had reported through the message.

"Vince?" Yve instantly turned around when she heard the door opening.

"Yes, anything wrong?" Vince asked and hugged his Queen while eyeing her wardrobe for the night.

Yve is wearing a white dress. It was so pristine that it featured clapper sleeves and sensual cut-out details on the side. The dress hugged her body so beautifully and highlighted her slender frame. The cross at the middle of the dress separates the one piece dress. It ended with a pencil cut skirt to declare a statement.

The look on Vince's eyes made Yve embarrassed.

"You look so beautiful." Vince commented.

"Especially with these jewelry and diamond heels with you." He added.

Yve blushed and hid her face by turning around and instructed, "You should get ready as well. We don't want to keep the press waiting."

"Yes, mam!" Vince said and went to the walk-in closet.

After a few minutes, Vince went out wearing an eye opener suit. He is wearing a white suit accented by color black on the lapel and button and bow tie. Lastly, his trousers are colored black too.

'And of course, he would make sure that our clothes are couple like.' Yve thought.

"Let's go?" Vince asked her.

"Hmmm…" Yve nodded but held Vince's arm well and the man knew instantly what she feels.

"Don't worry. I'm here for you." Vince assured her and walked with her towards the function hall.

As soon as they came in, different cameras flashed and cameramen made sure to capture every moment. Edward is already on stage waiting for them. As soon as they sat on the chairs allotted for them on stage, Edward began his opening speech.

"I know all of you have heard the news this morning released by Stones Enterprises. It was then further confirmed by Gray Group at noon. Tonight, this couple is here to answer your questions regarding the said announcements. Each of you can only ask one question so make it count."

A reporter approached the microphone prepared and asked a question.

"My question is for Mrs. Yvory Gray. Why did you decided to reveal all the secrets now? From your marriage to your position as the new CEO of SkyMu."

"I've never planned to hide these things from you nor I have the intention to reveal things in one go. I wanted to reveal my position as the CEO in a very special company event. As for my marriage, my husband here is a respected man in this world and loved by both men and women. I wanted to be considered worthy of everything Mr. Vincent Gray has to offer." Yve answered with conviction in her eyes.

Another reporter came and asked a question to Vince.

"Mr. Gray was marrying Mrs. Yvory a business tactic for expansion?"

"Your question is a bit rude but I would still answer that. Yve and I met each other way before we became bosses in our company. We fell in and out of love. Business tactic? It has nothing to do with that. I can make Gray Group a more powerful company while she can also rise at her own convenience."

Many people in the room didn't expect the sweet confession coming from the couple.

A lady reporter stood in front of the microphone.

"Mrs. Gray this question is for you. I hope you don't mind me asking, but as you are now the President of SkyMu, why did you turned the leadership of Stones to your husband when he has an empire of his own already? You even mentioned that you want to be considered of equal position."

"I thought you would never ask. I'm just delaying it. Right now, with my knowledge I'm not the CEO that Stones Enterprises need." Yve started her explanation.

"I'm going to study and improve my skills and credentials to be respectable CEO of a big corporation like Stones. Moreover, having Vince manage Stones doesn't mean that I will not lay out my ideas." She continued.

"I will attend the meetings and participate in all the projects." Yve ended her explanation.

"Mr. Gray, what can you say about your wife's plan?" A journalist directly asked.

"I agree with her plans. She will be well updated of the latest news of Stones but her priorities will be her studies, SkyMu and of course our marriage." Vince said.

His admission earned laughter from everyone in the room and a light push from his Queen as her cheeks turned red.

"Now, let's have the final question." Edward stated.

"Mr. Gray, now that you hold the two biggest corporations, what are your plans?"

"I have some rough ideas but as to avoid inflicting losses than gains, I want to study them further. No need to worry as official news will be posted in our official accounts." Vince answered the final question.

"That marks the end of our press conference. Thank you very much for coming and we're looking forward to the articles and reports you will give."
