95 Partnership

Half an hour earlier, Yve woke up and saw Sylvan bringing her a bowl of soup. She looked at Sylvan and asked,

"What is that?"

"A soup for you.I thought that you might need one."

"But we're about to head for a lunch meeting, right?"

"Yes, but the restaurant is a little bit far from here and you're having headaches, right?" Sylvan asked with an 'I know' tone.

Realizing I just lost an argument with my secretary, I received the bowl of soup and drink them little by little. Now, I know that even if Vince isn't around me all the time, both Sylvan and Chrysthe are so attentive that I will not be able to hide anything from them.

After drinking the bowl of soup, Sylvan told her that it's finally time to go to the meeting.So both of them head out and this time, Yve can't help but ask about the meeting.

"Care to tell me now, on what company are we meeting now?" Yve calmly asked Sylvan.

"Ms. Yvory don't be surprised but remember that during the wardrobe malfunction? You asked Noble to make a suit for one of the artists?"

"Hmm." Was all she said but deep inside her head was the thought of 'How can I possibly forget?'

"Their marketing team was in awe as they have heard several inquiry about the suit. So they have decided to talk to you with future collaboration in mind."

"REALLY?!" Yve was more than in awe. She was overwhelmed by what she heard.

"Yes, Ms. Yvory. I have just verified the meeting before we left the office."

"But I haven't prepared any proposal for them. What should I do?"

"No need to worry. They set up the meeting and they are the ones who wanted to collaborate first. For now, Ms. Yvory, just listen to their proposal."

"Okay. Got it! Thank you so much for your help, Sylvan."

"I'm just doing my job!"

Then silence filled the air as the scenery began to change. The city landscape change into a calm landscape filled with trees and almost empty roads. Finally an establishment finally comes into view. Sylvan parked the car and opened the door for Yve. She was amazed by the exterior design of the restaurant. It looked simple but has that comfortable feeling.

"Even the place for the meeting is an excellent one!" Yve exclaimed.

"For Noble, there are only two places where they can have a meeting, in their office and in this restaurant. The Madam owned this restaurant and personally recommends this place." Sylvan answered.

As soon as they got in, Yve expressed, "I fully understand why."

The place has that home vibe that relaxes. The interior was carefully created with family probably as its theme. Of course, she's not expert to fully know what but from her stand, from the furniture, lights and ambiance clearly say so.

"This way, Ms." Sylvan guided her to one of the rooms. Yve would say that this must be a VIP room.

Inside the VIP room, she saw a middle aged man and the lady she saw from the main branch. 'Rose was her name I think. So what is she doing here?' She wondered.

"Nice to finally meet the mysterious president of SkyMu Entertainment." The man stood and approached her with a handshake.

"The pleasure is all mine."

Then the four of them calmly sat and began their meeting.

Hospital Operating Room

After five hours of operation, the doctor finally came out of the operating room just in time for Vince to come back.

"Who is the guardian of the patient?" The doctor asked.

"I am. I'm his cousin." Vince asked.

"Mr. Gray." The doctor immediately recognized the man standing in front of him.

"How is he?"

"The operation should be successful but we still need to wait for him to wake up to completely verify."

"Okay but based on the patient's body, this was not his first time so he should have known about this." The doctor said.

Hearing nothing from Vince, the doctor continued to add.

"Since you already knew about this and stress or depression are the two most common reason why a person would do this, please help him out."

"Yes, doc."

"Now, he is in the recovery room but we will transfer him two hours after. Just call the nurse if ever you need me." The doctor said and bid farewell.

Vince sat hopelessly on one of the chairs.

"Edward only met her for a short while and ended like this. Now I began to worry about Yve's reaction more." Vince openly shared his opinion with Slayne.

"Maybe you should tell Ms. Yvory the soonest."

"I will. After she meets my mother."

"Then for now, sir, I think you should fetch her and get ready for that special meeting."

"Ed.."

"I will attend to Secondo's needs. I will give you updates about him."

"Then I'll take on that offer."

With that Vince looked at the time and headed back to the hotel to finish his schedule and prepare the needed things for fateful meeting.
