CHAPTER 47

ED's POV

Vince and I have arrived at the Gray Group after lunch date. As we head to his office, Vince said to me.

"You can go and train Ms. Nyelle. I can still handle the workload on my own. Take her training as your priority every time you report in the office."

"But how about the …..?"

"I can still handle it for now. But during the conference next month, I need you to be there. Besides, Yve will definitely go there."

"Yve just entered Stones. How sure are you that she will go there?"

"Because her mother founded that conference and soon after as she digs deeper into Stones, she will know about it."

"And will you let her take over?"

"TO HELL I WILL. It can only do her harm just like what happened to her mother. I made the wrong move to apply as a member when I thought she might be there."

"Okay, then. But should I train Ms. Nyelle…"

"To be a female version of you."

"Yes, boss! So I guess, I will stop at the next floor and introduce myself."

And I left him alone as the elevator opened. I am at the customer service department where Yve was once a part of. As I approach their supervisor, I asked for Ms. Nyelle.

"Mr. Edward, this is Ms. Nyelle."

"Thank you."

"I'll leave the two of you alone." And that the supervisor left us.

"Hi, I'm Edward the executive secretary." I extended one of my hands for a handshake.

"Hello, I'm Nyelle. How can I help you?"

She looked a little worried. But despite the bothered expression on her face, she still looks pretty with her smooth and silky hair hanging freely. She's wearing a black pencil cut skirt which emphasized her attractive rear. Her white boots also added a little height to her petite frame. But her baby pink ¾ sleeve blouse obtained the formal look she needed for work. What an amazing look!

But I shouldn't think this way. I need to prepare her for the tough fight that her friend is facing.

"Can we talk in private? It has something to do with Yve."

"Sure. But is Yve okay? Why I haven't seen her? HR department will not tell me anything."

"To start, she's doing fine. But she needs your help. Do you mind if we go to my office to talk about it?"

"It's fine, sir."

"Please call me Edward."

Both of us walked towards the elevator without saying anything to each other. So I took a sneak peek at her through the elevator walls which acted as mirrors. Her make-up was simple having the natural color lipstick shine.

The elevator door opened and since she's not familiar with the area, I lead the way until we reached my office. I opened the door for her hinting her to get inside.

"Have you seat on one of the couches for awhile. I get you something to drink. What do you like?"

""No, sir…." Then I looked at her. Doesn't she remember to call me Edward. I don't want her to call me sir."

"I mean, Edward. There's no need for that. Helping Yve and knowing her situation is my priority."

"Just calm down. It's not something you need to rush about."

Without waiting for her response, I closed the door and went to the floor's pantry area to prepare a light snack for her.

NYELLE's POV

I am inside sir Edward's, I mean the executive secretary's office. Since he left me alone I decided to look around the place as I head to the couch at the center of the office. There was this one cabinet that looked a little out of place. I guess sir Edward also likes Japanese anime. I decided to approach the cabinet first to look at the different chibi and normal sized figurines.

"WAAH!! He has different anime characters!! SANJI is here. Ughh, but Tezuka from Prince of Tennis and Midorima from Kuroko no Basuke looked so cute in here!!"

ED's POV

As I was about to open the door while bringing the snacks, I heard some giggling sounds coming from my room. I opened the door as quiet as possible and peeked inside. There I saw Nyelle ogling at my small anime figurine collection.

"AHHH!!! Lelouch is here and he looked so magnificent holding his gun!!"

"Grey is also here and with an action pose as well!!"

"Todoroki!!! This collection must be expensive."

She look so cute as she smile and got excited seeing my favorite figurines. Instead of coming inside, I decided to stare at her a little longer but I guess she felt my stares and turned around to my direction. I stood up properly as much as possible and acted as if I just saw her.

"Uhmm… sir.. I mean Edward… I'm sorry for staring at your collection."

"No, don't be. It's fine. You must like anime also." I said as I try to calm myself while walking to the couches. She also did the same.

"Well, not much. But all of the figurines you have there are my favorite characters."

"Oh, I see."

Well at least I find something which we both like. I offered her a glass of orange juice and some biscuits. She gladly sip the juice and asked after, "May I know how can I help Yve?"

"Okay. I believe you know who Yve really is, right?"

"Yes.She is the daughter of the deceased CEO of Stones Enterprises." She answered.

"Well, I don't want to go into details as Yve wanted to tell you in person. But to make everything short, Yve is working as a CEO of one of the small companies under the wing of Stones. For now, I am her secretary…."

"But how about your work here at Gray Group?"

"Which is exactly why Yve wants to have you as her secretary."

"WHAT?!" She exclaimed but later on she smiled cutely and said, "I'm sorry."

"It's fine. You were actually cute like that."

Then silence filled the air. Did I just say that to her out loud. What a clumsy mouth I have!!! Now, she's looking at me. How should I take it back?!

Wait. Should I really take it back when it's the reality?! But what will she think about me?!
