270 An Upcoming Vacation

Yve was quite satisfied with her victory today and with her business projects going as planned, she had some time in her hands. Lester and the rest of her teammates asked her if they can go out for snacks even for just a few minutes. Yve couldn't possibly say no to that. So she informed Sylvan that they will be eating at a café across their school. With this sudden changes, Eybelle showed up at the entrance to visibly guard her Lady Boss.

"Eybelle, you're here!" Yve happily welcomed the little girl in their group.

"Yve, who is this young lad?" Lester asked.

"Her name is Eybelle and she's Vince's cousin. I hope you don't mind that she joins us."

"Of course! The more the merrier!" The girls agreed and began ordering some food. Eybelle, what would you like?"

"…."

Eybelle didn't answer their question and only whispered to Yve,

"Young Madam, I don't know what to order." The girl admitted to her Lady Boss to which the latter smiled back.

Thinking that, Yve realized that Eybelle probably missed a lot of normal things that a girl like her should have experienced due to her job as part of Team Alpha.

"Let me order for you. Do you like sweets?" Yve whispered back.

"Not so sweet; maybe a balanced taste." Eybelle answered.

"I'm sorry, girls. I'll order for her instead. She's a bit shy so…."

"It's okay, Yve, we understand. We were actually happy that you catered our request."

Then just like that, the girls, Lester and Yve talked about a lot of things and how they would like to do another project with the same team. Eybelle, on the other hand, observed the interaction between her Lady Boss and her friends while looking around the café.

But soon, Eybelle saw Sylvan parked the car just outside. So, Eybelle whispered to Yve that they need to go now.

"I'm sorry but I have to go now." Yve bid farewell to her friends and with Eybelle inside, Sylvan drove the ladies to SkyMu building.

Yve read the reports and checked the final arrangements for SkyMu's biggest online project yet. After doing all these things, Yve left the office with Sylvan to pass by the supermarket to buy the necessary goods. Yve made a list on the car and was ready by the time they arrived at the market. To confirm that she will have enough time to cook and prepare for dinner, Yve sent a message to Vince on their way back home.

"Mr. Gray, what time are you going home?"

Instantly, Vince replied,

"I just finished and on my way to the grocery store."

Yve replied and informed Vince that she finished buying food supplies so he can go home straight and maybe they can prepare the dishes together.

Soon the couple returned to their house and began cooking their dinner together. It was a simple moment for them but as they share the tasks, they shared how their day went in their respective offices and Yve's school.

Once they finished cooking, they enjoyed the food together. They were almost finished with only the desert remaining when Vince asked a question to Yve.

"What are you going to do after the launch of the online project this weekend?"

"I'll check the updates and results of the project. But I'll be more focused on the Stone's mall project. Why?"

"How about we go on a vacation once everything is over?" Vince asked Yve back.

"I would love it! Where will we go?"

"Where do you want to go?" Vince asked for her opinion.

"Maybe out of the country? I want to explore a place with snow."

"Okay, I'll take that into consideration in picking a place." Vince smiled as he started to clean up.

"Oh, I can't wait to finish all these tiring projects and get a little break." Yve said in a cute tone and rushed to hug me from the behind.

"Oops! Careful! I love your sudden touchy affections but I'm holding fragile things." Vince carefully placed the dishes on the sink before hugging Yve back.

"If you're really tired I can schedule the vacation right after your online project. Don't worry too much about Stones." Vince offered after hearing the Yve's sentiment.

"It's fine. I started it and I want to see it up until the end." Yve answered and causing Vince to kiss her crown.

"Thanks for the offer anyway." Yve hugged him tighter.

They stayed that way for a couple more minutes before cleaning up the dishes they used that night.

Since Sylvan offered to attend the meeting for SkyMu's project at the office tomorrow, Yve has only two schedules which is the site visit in her project at one of Stone's mall and the psychiatric appointment with Maddie. So Yve has the luxury to sleep for a longer period of time, which she really did.

It's already 6 in the morning but Yve is still asleep. So without waking her up, Vince gets himself prep up for the day. He goes down to the kitchen and reheats some of the food they cooked last night for breakfast and his lunch. He eats his lunch and makes sure to clean the dishes he used. Before leaving the house, Vince walks back to their room and kisses Yve on her forehead.

Yve wakes up really late at nine because of how hungry she was. She rose up from her bed and went to kitchen fully knowing that Vince wasn't around anymore. Since it's already late for breakfast, she decided to eat a light cereal and decides to do a little exercise.

Yve sweated after an hour of exercise. After doing so she decides to rest while listening to some of the tunes she created the last time she remembered she wasn't busy. She arranged some of them and put them in a song. She wrote some lyrics for it but wasn't able to finish as Sylvan called her.

"Young Madam, I already finished the meeting. "

"Is everything fine?"

"Yes and I'll be bringing the reports to you in a while. I'm on my way to your residence."

"Thank you." Yve bid goodbye and hurried herself to cook for their lunch.

Soon after, Sylvan arrives at Yve's house. When Sylvan didn't find Yve anywhere, Chrysthe informed him that she's still preparing. So seeing that Yve finished cooking lunch, Sylvan took the liberty of preparing the table so they can instantly eat when she's done.

After eating lunch, Sylvan and Yve leave the house to go to the Stone's for the site visit.

"Young Madam, Mr. Gray is in the mall and he wants you to visit him afterwards."

"Got it. Thanks, Sylvan."
