Feng Tianlan frowned slightly after hearing the girls exchange words with the intention of lettings down their guards. She looked back and confirmed that they had indeed passed by the carnivorous flowers earlier. Lin Suyin had definitely known that they were Man-Eating Flowers, so why hadn’t she spoken up earlier? Azurite walked over to Feng Tianlan and said a little anxiously, “Master, the smell of blood is in the air. Let’s get out of here.”

“Yunzhu, let’s go.” Feng Tianlan had a bad premonition as well. She placed one hand on her dagger and clasped Luo Yunzhu with the other. She started to walk lightly on her toes, ready to fly from this place.

Luo Yunzhu pulled out her whip and cut apart one vine as she shouted anxiously, “Tianlan, use your fire to burn them!”

“I can’t!” Feng Tianlan had slashed a vine only to find that it had grown back into two vines instead.

This was a vast forest, so using fire here could ignite a massive forest fire. Instead of being devoured by the vines, they might end up consumed by fire instead.
