Chapter 253 - Clear Up the Rumors

Si Mobai’s almond eyes were like cold knives slashing Zhang Tiancheng, and his voice sounded like it came from the very depths of hell. “I’ll give you one hour to clear up all the rumors.”

“Wha-?” Zhang Tiancheng was stunned. Clear up what rumors?

“I’ll rather fall for a pig than her.” Si Mobai then turned to Feng Tianlan, and his icy gaze immediately melted into water as he walked right past her.

Feng Tianlan felt that her palm had been pinched, and she stiffened. She looked up, but the culprit had already walked away as if nothing had happened. The numb, hot feeling in her hand made her face redden.

This man was a real hooligan, somersaulting through her window and sleeping in her bed at night. Now, he was teasing her in broad daylight.

“Tianlan, why is your face so red?” Luo Yunzhu saw that Feng Tianlan was blushing, then she looked at Wargod walking away and couldn’t help but tease her, “Oh, has Wargod captured your heart? Need my help?”

“Stop it.” Feng Tianlan replied in a severe voice, and the redness faded from her face.

“HAHA! No worries, I’ll help you ask him out, and I’m sure he’ll say yes. The best way to get to know someone is to spend a day on a boat down the lake. I’ll get everything ready for you.” Luo Yunzhu really wanted to try and arrange this date because her instincts told her that the Wargod liked Tianlan.

Zhang Tiancheng was still scratching his head. He asked, “So, who am I supposed to clear these rumors for?”

The Wargod had looked at Boss after saying this, and he wondered if he’d angered Wargod by saying he wasn’t worthy of Boss.

“Of course, he’s referring to Tu Xiupei. Don’t you remember that I was the one who said those things about her?” Luo Yunzhu looked at Feng Tianlan. “Right, Tianlan?”

“Don’t bother with him. This has nothing to do with us.” Feng Tianlan poked her palm where Si Mobai had pinched her. The spot was so hot that it was boiling.

“Wargod only gave me an hour. Will he come back and hold me responsible if I don’t get it done?” Zhang Tiancheng was very worried about this, but he still wasn’t sure which rumor he was supposed to clear up. If he offended Wargod and got Boss into trouble, that would be terrible.

“The syllabus just came out, and it includes lessons on differentiating herbs. I think that Tu Xiupei is one of the teachers,” Zhang Tiancheng explained what was going on to the girls. This meant that Tu Xiupei was indeed their teacher now, so she had the right to question them like this.

Tu Xiupei looked at the sun, which was still rising in the sky and said seriously, “All of you are late and rude to your teacher. So, you will get rid of all the weeds and worms in this herb garden as a punishment. You do not get to eat until you finish the entire place.”

Getting rid of all the weeds in this garden would take them until midnight. Besides, the bright noon sun was already making Feng Tianlan suffer sufficiently!

“Oh my. Abusing your authority, huh?” Luo Yunzhu mocked in reply.

“I am your teacher…”
