Chapter 225 - Fight to Marry Feng Tianlan

“Take it.” After hearing the guests’ comments, Tu Xiupei nearly ground her teeth to powder. She reluctantly threw a bank bill at the server, then turned to leave but stopped and looked at the server. “Since my older sister is so generous, surely this banquet is going to cost her more than 10 billion, right?”

She didn’t believe Feng Tianlan had enough money to settle the bill. If she had been charged 10 billion, then Feng Tianlan would be charged even more for sure. She wanted to see how Feng Tianlan was going to settle this ridiculous bill.

The server stashed away the bank bill then smiled harmlessly at Tu Xiupei. “Our owner says that because Miss Tu stole the limelight from the Feng Clan Head, to compensate her, this banquet is on the house!”

In other words, Tu Xiupei had paid a million gold coins but hadn’t even made a good name for herself. Instead, she had helped to make this banquet free for Feng Tianlan.

She believed that, if she ran out looking this pitiful, the Wargod would feel for her and smash Feng Tianlan to pieces. She truly thought that the Wargod liked her.

Feng Tianlan stifled a laugh when she saw how Tu Xiupei still took one last shot at winning sympathy from Si Mobai before leaving. This woman was really great at acting.

After Tu Xiupei left, there was an uproar from the crowd. Everyone was talking about how her head had swelled with so much pride, but now, she had been slapped so hard in the face.
