Chapter 229 - 229 Leeches

229 Leeches

Zhao Zhan did not understand what mouth-to-mouth resuscitation was.

He felt that he had used up all his endurance in this life.

However, the woman was unforgiving and moved around as if she wanted to compete with him, making it difficult for him to resist her moves.

Yue Jiaojiao’s hair was drenched in sweat, and she looked like a little goldfish that had just gotten out of water.

The handkerchief originally used to wipe her face and hands fell to the ground.

Chengfeng howled twice, and seeing that no one was paying attention to him, he moved his four legs and ran out of the door. When he was out, he accidentally closed the door, and the light in the room instantly dimmed.

Zhao Zhan felt his consciousness slowly fading away.

Yue Jiaojiao couldn’t tell which part of her body was hotter, and her eyes trembled as she begged for mercy.

Zhao Zhan looked at the mess and carefully went down to get hot water to help her wash up. Then, he gently tucked her in and tidied himself up before quietly opening the door and going to the dining room.

“Zhao Zhan…”

Her words were muffled. She squinted her eyes and looked at Zhao Zhan’s afterimage. “If I didn’t know, I would have thought that you were also drunk and asleep! We’re not going home until we’re drunk!”

Doctor Sun and Doctor Zhou also obviously drank a lot. The two of them were chattering and arguing about something.

Zhao Zhan quickly walked over and took the wine glass from Fang Tianliu’s hand. “Fang Tianliu, you’re drunk.”

“I won’t get drunk that easily!”

“What if Li Xiangjun comes over later and sees you like this?”

“I’m not drinking anymore.” Fang Tianfu waved his hand and sat down on the chair, trying his best to look sober. “I’m really not drunk.”

“Zhao Zhan, let him sit there and sober up for a while,” Sun Jiyan spoke quickly and his face was still fair and clean. “I’ve brought some medicinal herbs to sober up. I don’t know where your kitchen is. I’ll have to trouble you to make them some hangover soup later.”

“No trouble, it’s just a matter of convenience.”

“How’s Jiaojiao?”

Zhao Zhan furrowed his brows and looked up at him. “Sun Jiyan, although you and my wife used to be close, you still have to be careful with how you look at her. Please, keep your distance and address her formally.”

Sun Jiyan’s expression froze for a moment before he laughed. “Then I’ll do as you say, Zhao Zhan. I’ve been rude this whole time. I hope you don’t blame me.”

“I won’t. I’d need your help to take care of them here. I’ll go and make some soup to sober up.”

Yang Dashan and Li Miao must have gone back to rest. After Zhao Zhan cooked the hangover soup, he sent a bowl to the next room and then took the rest back to the dining room.

After a few of them drank the soup one by one, Zhao Zhan sent them all to the front hall to rest. He then returned to the dining room to clean up the bowls and chopsticks and then thought about what to eat for the night.

When Yue Jiaojiao walked into the kitchen in her soft animal leather shoes, she saw Zhao Zhan’s back as he squatted on the floor and busied himself. She gently leaned over and pressed her body against his back. “Are you tired?”

“Not at all.”

As Zhao Zhan spoke, he stood up, washed the oil off his hands, and poured a full cup from the pot on the stove for the other party. “The smell of the goat’s milk has been removed according to your instructions, and the tea leaves were bought in Yang City. Try it and see if it’s good.”
