Jing Yan shouted at Li Ming, who had taken his seat.

Li Luo jumped in shock and quickly shrank into her brother’s arms. She looked at crazy Onion in horror.

He Miao hurriedly put down her chopsticks and held Onion in her arms. She comforted its dog head. “Onion, what’s wrong? Why did you suddenly start barking?”

Jing Yan looked up at her coldly with his dog eyes, which seemed to be filled with unspeakable grievances.

For this woman, he had worked hard for several days to write the code and even went to another province to participate in a competition.

He had gone to great lengths to set things up for her from behind the scenes, changing the prize money that should have been for the first prize into a bracelet that she might like, just because he was afraid that she would not accept it because it was too expensive.

However, she took advantage of his absence to bring another man into her house and even cooked for him personally!

Did they think that he was dead after not appearing for so many days?

The more Jing Yan thought about it, the angrier he got. He broke free from He Miao’s embrace and threw himself at the man who had been coveting He Miao like a madman.

Li Ming was afraid that Li Luo would be bitten, so he quickly stood up and carried her in his arms. He looked at He Miao with an uneasy gaze.

Jing Yan’s only target was Li Ming. Unfortunately, he was now a weak and stupid dog. Even if he pounced at him with all his might, he could only touch his knees.

He had never felt so powerless before. All this while, he had forced himself to accept the fact that he had become a stupid dog in order to get close to He Miao, but at this moment, he hated this bizarre encounter with all his heart.

If he was here, he would have punched Li Ming’s face.

He Miao was anxious and quickly hugged Onion again.

The dog in her arms was still struggling violently. He Miao had no choice but to let Li Ming and his sister leave first.

Jing Yan did not calm down until the two of them disappeared from the room. He lay on He Miao’s arm angrily and turned his head away, refusing to talk to her.

He Miao had a vague feeling that Onion really hated Li Ming. It was obvious that it went crazy just now because of him.

When she thought back to what had happened, she could not figure out what made Onion unhappy. or perhaps Li Ming’s actions had frightened it and made it angry.

He Miao sighed and smacked its little butt lightly. She carried it and quickly finished her meal before going to apologize to Li Ming.

Li Ming waved his hand indifferently. “The puppy might not like strangers breaking into its territory. It’s okay. I’ll take it out to play tomorrow. I’ll feed it more.”

He Miao’s eyes widened in surprise. After this incident, she thought that Li Ming would not be willing to see Onion the next day. She did not expect him to not only care, but to take the initiative to befriend Onion.

She smiled from the bottom of her heart and nodded. After arranging a time to meet tomorrow, she returned home to see Onion sitting by the door with a sad expression.

Jing Yan heard their conversation and realized that they had agreed to go to the amusement park together tomorrow.

This woman was not worried about him at all because of his sudden disappearance. Instead, she was having fun with others!

Did she even have a heart?

He Miao bent down to pick up Onion, but the little guy turned around and walked into the house, unwilling to talk to her. It looked so aggrieved as if she had done something unforgivable.

That night, Onion did not want to sleep with her. It hid in a corner and stared at her without blinking.

Jing Yan woke up at 1:30 a.m. He looked at the dark sky outside the window and sighed heavily.

He could finally finish the competition at dawn and get the prize that he had wanted to give her, but she had already promised to spend the weekend with someone else.

When He Miao woke up in the morning, she suddenly looked at Onion, who had shrunk back into the kennel, as if she had sensed something. This time, the little guy was still sleeping deeply.

She tiptoed out of bed, and Onion immediately woke up. It jumped to her feet and wagged its tail, asking for a hug.

He Miao patted the dog’s head. Seeing that it was not throwing a tantrum anymore, she added a bag of beef jerky into its bowl with relief before turning to wash up.

When Li Ming and Li Luo knocked on the door, He Miao had just tidied herself up.

When Li Ming saw Onion, he took out the dried meat he had prepared and knelt down. “Little guy, here you go.”

Onion sniffed, and after confirming that there was no danger, began to eat it.

Li Ming laughed as he stroked Onion’s fur. This time, Onion did not go crazy again. It seemed that he really became friendly with Li Ming because of a piece of dried meat.

Seeing that the puppy had become obedient, Li Luo blinked her eyes and boldly touched its soft fur. She clapped her hands happily and said, “Sister, that’s great! Big brother and the puppy have reconciled!”

He Miao laughed at her words. She carried Onion and got into Li Ming’s car with them.

Outside the amusement park, a bodyguard wearing sunglasses watched the three of them walk in with his own eyes. He then pressed the wireless headset in his ear and reported in a cold voice, “Young Master, they’ve already gone in. Do you want to continue following them?”

Jing Yan sat in the car with his eyes lowered, and said indifferently, “Follow them. We can’t let them have any physical contact!”
