Chapter 192 - Where Is Jennifer?

With each passing second, his voice became louder with the pitch reaching its peak.

He generally has no control over these emotions anymore.

"Open the door immediately, Austin!!" The voice once again, attracted Austin's mind, to hear out Javier's restless voice outside.

A few seconds later, with no voice coming, made Javier howl in anger. His mind was almost on the verge of going through a malfunctioning at this point.

Nothing seems to make sense to him anymore.

When he was ready to break the door via his shoulders, he heard the noise of something. 'This sound looks like flushing..' though, he was still uncertain yet waited for a few more seconds for Austin to show her face.

The door of the bathroom was wide open with Austin coming out, to only bump in Javier. "Oh... I heard your yellings. Is everything alright?"

Without replying to him, his eyes shifted their attention to the bathroom, not finding any identical inside at all.

This made him frown. "Where is Jennifer?"

"How will I know? She showed me the way and... I was inside. What happened with that?" Austin's facial expressions were that of innocence, making Javier doubt this man.

Was he seriously the one whom he is trying to act as? "She isn't back at the dining table. I got worried.. if something happened to her."

"She is your girlfriend and knows this house well. What could have happened to her, Javier?" Austin's word suggested that he was worrying over nothing but Javier had no such wish to express his anxious state in front of him.

"Nothing.. let me look for her then…"

With this comment, Javier immediately left the passage to make his way towards the kitchen and meet the butler who was busy in the preparation of the food. "Umm… Have you seen Jennifer? Did she come were?"

"Second Young Master, no one entered the kitchen from the family because of the guest...." Butler's words, too, made Javier's heartbeat at a rapid pace.

The same was added to his worry where he was ready to leave the kitchen but before that, a maid entered, who had overheard Javier's question. "Master… I guess you are looking for Ms. Taylor?"

"Yes! Have you seen her?" Javier asked, with evident cautious, with evident cautiousness written over his face.

The maid nodded her head to say, "I just saw her before..where she was walking back to her room. I had no idea why she left.."

Hearing this, Javier's eyes slightly narrowed "Are you sure?"

In return to this, he received an affirmative answer from the maid, which made him retard back to his room to check her presence once

He wasn't sure what is she doing there!?

How can she leave in the middle? There were dozens of questions that revolved in his mind but in the end, he successfully stopped himself.

His hands kept on the knob of the door, where he stepped inside of the room to find it entirely empty. "Jennifer!? are you here?"

"Yeah..yeah! Javier! I'm in the room." Hearing her voice, finally made him sigh in relief.

With his face almost covered with sweat, he can sense how he was almost out of the reach at this moment.

What happened to him when he saw her not with him, neither with Austin nor in the dining space.

He had no clue yet, the same made him take a seat on the couch and closing his eyes. 'Gosh... I thought..'

His imagination and wild but was grateful that nothing came true.

Jennifer, too, stepped out of the bathroom to look at Javier, "What happened to you now? are you okay?"

"I'm alright but.. what happened to you? Why did you leave the dinner so abruptly and left Austin alone in the passage?" Javier, keeping his eyes closed, asked with an uneasy tone.

"Well…" Bringing her heels out, she said, "My heels break out of blue. I didn't want to take the risk of falling anywhere soI decided to change it to another footwear which will be comfortable."

At this point, he opened his eyes and looked at Jennifer and witnessed how a pout plastered on her lips, staring at her broken heel.

Who knows what came over his head, which made him stand on his legs and hug her tightly.

"Y..you have no idea… what I went through." His husky voice made her gulp the saliva.

His sudden hug, made her take a step back, but the overbearing hug was tight enough to stop her from falling.

"I..it's alright. What could even have happened to me? Hmm? How overthinking without anything…"

Jennifer smiled, though her heart was too pounding at a high rate. The forced smile was hard, where she was too guilty of something, which she earlier did.

Javier didn't seem to say anything at first but only hugged her with much force.

He only had one urge and that was to dissolve her into his body so that no one could take her away from him anymore...

Caressing his back, Jennifer knew that her sudden disappearance might have taken to toll on his mind. "Shhh... it's alright, I'm here with you now. You don't have to feel anything.."

"Yeah… just don't leave me.. alone.. in any situation. The loneliness is too terrifying for me.."

His stammering voice melted her stoic heart. All she did was smile in return and returning his big hug, to keep her head in his chest.

He knew that nothing would like this to happen, after all, the attachment with this girl is way too much from now on. Never even in his darkest and deepest, he hopes to do something which might pull her away from him.. no, he has no heart to do so or something similar!

But Jennifer was in a deep dilemma related to her own situation. 'Leave you? Javier…. what if I tell you that your brother made the biggest mistake of calling Austin at your home?'
