Chapter 172 - Target Is Here!

The same made Charles's eyes narrowed.

Taking a sip of his drink, he asked in the most surprising tone, "You mean to say that the man is a new player in our… world?"

"Not someone new but I believe.. in this state. I heard he is here to present an offer. Since the

man has started his business in the international market, he must be capable too." 

The way others appreciated the man-made Charles was really curious about the person.

'Who is the one... who gained so much attention of others without meeting them?'

It was rare since most of the people are hungry for money and power and try to come to their good list.

However, this seems another case where the man's absence is also leading to his talks?

But Charles didn't speak anything with respect to the same. He stayed silent and I waited till the conversation shifted in another direction, hoping to see the man named Austin once...

Meanwhile, Austin entered the party wearing a lavish suite, fixed to his body. His hair was done especially by the artist and no one can differentiate if he was a model or any businessman?

Instead of having normal talks with others, he straightaway went to the couples, to greet them.

"Happy anniversary to you both. May God give you blessings." Austin spoke in a sweet gesture.

"It is good to see you after a long time, Austin.." the man hugged him with a smile. The other party was no one else but Mr. Stan who has organized the opportunity for him...

But in the middle of their hug, Austin whispered, "Where is he?" 

Retreating, Mr. Stan didn't stop smiling.

Instead, he held Austin's hand consecutively, to pass the hint in his direction. "Austin, how come you come here right now?"

"It is an occasion of celebration. How could I have not shown up to wish you and sister in law." 

"That is so sweet of you... come, let me serve you with the finest drink our bar has." Keeping his hand on Austin's back, Mr. Stan led him towards the mini bar on the left-hand side of the hall.

It was mostly covered with guests, asking for drinks or either waiter, serving different varieties of things to other guests.

Both of them arrived at the bar when Mr. Stan started talking, "So.. something finally made you step in our state?"

"Circumstances led me to." Was a short and crisp assent from Austin's side.

Nodding in response, Mr. Stan looked at the bartender in front of them and ordered, "Two glasses of the best you have. Soon."

"Sure sir!" 

With this, Mr. Stan's eyes trailed through another side where Charles stood at the bar, waiting for his drink too.

Finding the right opportunity, he whispered Austin's ears with a smile lingering on his face.

"Your target is already here."

With this, he made his way to the Charles, where Austin tagged along behind him.

Keeping the calm composure and friendly way of approach, Mr. Stan started the conversation with Charles, "Mr. Johnson, hope you are enjoying tonight."

When Mr. Stan approached him, Charles was somewhere expecting the man to give him some attention, yet he didn't want that.

As there were many people present, there are many guests yet it surprised him that Mr. Stan personally came to talk.

"Organizers did a great job. How can I not like it?" 

"My wife was the one who made all the preparations. She wanted everything according to our wishes while I set the menu for the drinks. And catering. Hope everything is according to your taste and preference." Mr. Stan's little words gained a nod from the other side.

"Enjoy your party. Sister-in-law has amazing taste in such lavish banquet halls." Charles kept it simple and short, complimenting the work Mrs. Stan did.

After getting the note that Charles was easily able to mix, Mr. Stan, at last, was here to fulfill his intentions.

"Oh... I was here to make you meet one of my friends from abroad." Bringing Austin, ahead, he said, "Meet Austin Brown… The CEO of Fiscal and Faint." 

"Austin, this is Mr. Chalres Johnson, the current heir of the Johnson group, which is going through generations" 

As Mr. Stan formally introduced them with a constant smile, Austin took the initiative to go and advance the conversation "It is nice to meet you, Mr. Johnson." 

Extending his hand in Charles's direction, Charles too brought his hand ahead and both of them shared a firm handshake. "likewise. I heard that you are from abroad?"

"Looks like Mr. Johndon has heard about the rumors that have been circulating about my arrival.." Charles smiled in return.

Observing the man from top to bottom, he saw how powerful the man look.

Moreover, he seemed down to earth, despite being a CEO at such a young age... 

"Family business or.. your own startup which flourished?" Charles asked, in curiosity to hear the reply which out of the blue surprised him as well, "My own. I started it when I was eighteen and now.. it's doing good too." 

That was a taken aback statement to hear.

Especially when the man didn't look more than twenty-five. 'He must be talented otherwise... establishing a large global enterprise is impossible.'

With his remark, Charles has already made an image in his mind about this new abroad guy

Their drinks arrived and Mr. Stan left the place to attend to others, giving them some space.

His work was to make both of them had a conversation and now letting Austin reach his goal too.

Since the drinks were going on, the conversation advanced.

Charles found it easier to talks with someone younger, who had experienced it too.

Similar to his there, he can feel the man has too many things to hide under the cold surface of his face.

'Gosh…. he is the same age as that of Javier and..' he can't hide the comparison even at once between them but in the middle, Austin finished his glass and put forward the offer.

"Mr. Charles, since you know that I'm here to make my name, with someone... but.. a market isn't easy to enter alone. The local firms did what I prefer doing and collaboration is what I majorly do."

Austin's word made him narrow his eye to ask, "You mean to say?"

"As your company is doing good too, why not we try to go for any specific product in your state and term as partner
