991 Polymorph Failure

The battle between Ruling Sword and Seventh Heaven was destined to be a tough one.

It was rare for both guilds to lose and now that Lucky Southern Persian had the ability to Polymorph endlessly, the victorious party seemed to be guaranteed.

The group match also decided the total points, so it became the center of attention.

The match ground was a sparse forest, so mobility wouldn't be too much of an issue.

"Focus fire."

Once the two parties engaged, Lu Li immediately made sure that Lucky Southern Persian was their main target.

Fat Monkey's battle style was shocking as usual – he immediately flashed into the enemy party and casted a Frost Nova to freeze as many players as he could. He was countless times faster than Lucky Southern Persian's Water Elemental.

All the players were thinking the same thing; perhaps 'Fire Monkey' would be a more suitable name for him.

After this, he Shielded himself and flashed away. During this whole process, Fat Monkey never left Lucky Southern Persian's attack range. When Moonlight and the others arrived, they began to output all their damage onto Lucky Southern Persian.

It seemed like Fat Monkey was not impressed by Lucky Southern Persian's play style at all.

While he was on stage, he was going to prove to everyone that a Mage should be focusing on their damage output.

When Kitty Likes Meat and Lu Li began attacking, Lucky Southern Persian polymorphed March Rain and used his Ice Barrier. Even though he was a Mage who wore cloth armor, he wasn't that easy to kill either.

Although Mages became invincible after they casted Ice Barrier, few would choose to use up the entire duration of the spell.

His best opportunity was when all of his team members focused on Fat Monkey. He could then break out of the ice to tie up all possible loose ends in the situation. That way, Ruling Sword's plans of focusing him down would fail and it would be Seventh Heaven's turn to counterattack.

The Priest of Ruling Sword was still Polymorphed; how were they going to regain their ground?

March Rain received orders from Lu Li to use her badge. Despite thinking that there were better opportunities to use it, she still followed her given instructions,.

As Lu Li had expected, as soon as March Rain dispelled Polymorph, she was immediately turned into a sheep again by Lucky Southern Persian.

Fat Monkey then became the enemy team's target.

He held his ground for a while before he had to use his Ice Barrier, which was when Lucky Southern Persian defrosted himself.

Lucky Southern Persian wasn't disappointed at all – Kitty Likes Meat was also one of their priority targets besides Fat Monkey.

If they could successfully take down Kitty Likes Meat, it would be a great advantage for Seventh Heaven too. However, Lucky Southern Persian also knew that she wasn't an easy target, at least not before she used her badge and demon form.

Even so, it was still important for them to focus down someone. After all, players wouldn't use their special skills or items unless it was necessary.

Once Lu Li and the others lost Lucky Southern Persian, they focused on their healer Empty instead. When Lucky Southern Persian defrosted himself, the Ruling Sword team immediately switched back to their target.

Lucky Southern Persian was a little angry, he could tell that the opposing team was determined to send him out first.

He was stuck in a moment of indecision. He had the ability to turn around the situation, but he also thought that they weren't doing too badly either. As long as Ruling Sword felt like they had a chance to take him down, they wouldn't let go of him.

Meanwhile, Seventh Heaven's target – Kitty Likes Meat – would also remain in danger.

Both Lucky Southern Persian and Kitty Likes Meat were being focused, but the situation was entirely different for them. Because March Rain was consistently in sheep form, this meant that Kitty Likes Meat couldn't be healed. However, the healer from Seventh Heaven could spare a moment to heal him every now and then.

Kitty Likes Meat screamed. It seemed like she couldn't hold back anymore as she changed into her demon form.

"Focus, focus! Don't worry about anything else; focus the Warlock down first!" Lucky Southern Persian shouted as he Polymorphed March Rain again, just in case she returned to her human form to heal Kitty Likes Meat.

This was a crucial moment; Lucky Southern Persian decided to kill Kitty Likes Meat by brute force.

On the stage, everyone could be friends, but once they were in a match, the outcome was far more important. He had no mercy for this new rookie player.

"Now's the time!"

As Lu Li spoke, he flashed behind the opposing healer and stunned him.

Although Empty wasn't the best healer, he was young and had always been in good condition. He knew that this action meant that the opposing team was about to take make a move, so without a second of hesitation, he used his badge and casted an Earthbind Totem behind him in an attempt to get away from Lu Li and save Lucky Southern Persian.

The one in danger currently was Lucky Southern Persian as opposed to Kitty Likes Meat, who was instead rapidly healing. During the entire match, March Rain had never been able to help, and now that she had returned to her human form, it only took her a few moves to save Kitty Likes Meat.

March Rain was currently the main healer, and she had borrowed the Ivy Magic Staff from Hachi Chan.

Ivy Magic Staff (Epic): Damage 56-92, Intelligence +50, Constitution +30, Critical Hit +20%, 2 Slots. Special Effect 1: Mana Regeneration +30%. Special Effect 2: Ivy Protection. Instant Cast, apply an Ivy Shield to a teammate and absorb up to 1000 damage for the next 10 seconds. 2 minute cooldown. Special Effect 3: Instant Cast. Absorb the vitality found in the natural world and restore a large amount of HP to the target. Can restore up to 50% HP on the target. Takes 24 hours to absorb vitality. Equipment Requirement: level 50. Durability 225/225.

With a shield and a heal, Kitty Likes Meat was given half of her HP back. The Legendary weapon was definitely proving its own worth.

On the other hand, Lucky Southern Persian was in a very awkward position. He didn't expect March Rain to break out of Polymorph so soon.

In fact, he had guessed that March Rain would have other methods to dispel Polymorph, but he thought he could manage with those. At the very most, he would only have to cast Polymorph for March Rain to become useless again.

However, when he casted Polymorph on March Rain twice and neither attempt worked, he knew he made an error.

Why did things turn out like this!

Lucky Southern Persian had played games for many years and had definitely seen it all, but he really could not find a way to explain what was happening before his eyes.

Why was March Rain losing health constantly?

Who was attacking her?

Although the situation was a mess, all of his team members were elites. There was no way they would make an error of attacking a sheep by accident. Even a three-year-old child knew that Polymorph would lose its effect upon being attacked.
